We ordered the vermicelli salad with vegetarian spring rolls and a side serve of rice paper rolls for takeaway late at night right before closing time. Everything was fresh and delicious! Thank you!
A great place in Moonee Ponds. A must visit in Melbourne. Best and most Unique Vietnamese restaurant ever. Been there several times and never disappointed.
The food is amazing. i’ve been there with my friends on the Saturday night and it didnt disappoint me. I love beef potato and the ribs bbq lemongrass. Cozy feelings and friendly staff
Great Vietnamese Restaurant.. Just love Chilli Pepper. Have been coming here for a long time and always have been impressed by the service and of course the sensational food. Every meal we have had here has been fresh and flavoursome. It is certainly one of the better Vietnamese restaurants that I have been to. Rockling in peanut sauce is the best! The wine list prices are quite reasonable too. Don't be put off by negative reviews,it has been there a long time and still going strong.
Owners rates his own food!. I think the owner of the restaurant reviewing his own restaurant is not a good look.

Then shares spicy fried rice and sizzling chilli chicken, both very nice.

Many a time have I driven down Mount Road and I am cursing myself that not until now have I been into Chilli Pepper. The food was amazing! And when I say amazing, I mean AMAZING! The chicken and sweet corn soup, the spicy fried rice, and the pièce de résistance, the rice vermicelli with sliced beef. Holy frigging moly! Go, go now.

Good. It was a busy night and we wanted a place quiet n serene to cuddle up.
We walked past chilli pepper n saw there weren't much people dining in there.
No 2nd thoughts n v decided to give it a go..!
We ordered prawn crackers for entrees , thinking it to be something made of prawns ... :D nevertheless it wasn't!!
Prawn crackers are deep fried crackers made from starch.
I have uploaded a pic for those who might mistake it to be something else.
But it ws tasty.
We ordered Chicken stir fry with lemongrass & chilli sauce and spicy fried rice for mains.
I must say ta former nailed it!!
It had all kinds of flavours that would make you go oo lalala..!
Make sure u order an extra large fried rice ,coz ta large one i ordered wasn't even worth the price.
The service wasn't up to the mark..
They didn't even bother, to provide us water and we had to keep on asking for the drinks we ordered.
We had almost finished our dinner when the bearer arrived with our drinks.

When your partner who NEVER tips, in years of being together, suddenly says "we're tipping", you know you're onto a BIG winner of a venue.
Best food- generous in both portions and flavours, service, atmosphere and price combo that i can remember. I've eaten at a lot of places and this is definitely underated as a venue. Would recommend to anyone and everyone. 5 stars without question. If they served cocktails too i would never have a reason to leave.

Love this little charmer! Been a loyal Customer for 9 years and counting... have always left feeling happy, satiated and satisfied. The chef puts so much love in the food which can be tasted. Portions are generous and prices more than reasonable. It is cosy, charming and clean. Also BYO if you wish to take in special drop.
Loved it! Always drove by and wanted to try it. My partner and I finally ate here for the first time and the food was incredible. The host was super friendly and helpful. Ended up getting the banquet and all the food tasted super fresh and really flavourful. Will be back for sure
I've lived in the area forever but somehow missed this gem. So glad to have finally found it and will definitely become a regular. Lovely fresh flavours (a group of 4 dining, ordered 3 entrees, 4 mains and 4 desserts.......all yum!) Service with a smile as well!
We love this place. Have always been served delicious food and we have eaten here a lot. We have been trying to support this place during COVID lockdowns as it is one of many restaurants in moonee ponds. They need the community support so if you’re thinking about stopping by, do it, you will be so glad you did.

Service was good and price was reasonable.
We came in a big group so I was able to try most of their dishes.
They had a dish called Traditional Beef & Potatoes - pretty much just potato wedges and beef and I must say, it was unique and was delicious.
Their food was fresh and we all left satisfied.
I would recommend this restaurant but make sure you call to book or they may not be any available seats available.
