So close to the Maribyrnong River it’s a good spot to pick up lunch or dinner and sit by the river
On a nice day. The flake was delicious (we had both grilled and battered), fresh and perfectly salted. The potato cakes were crispy and with a decent amount of potato, and the chips were well seasoned and yummy.
10/10 for your local fish n chips. Chips are always piping hot and there is plenty of different fish to choose from. For kids they also do a half size flake which is great when serving sizes can be huge. Really great value for money ($5pp max) and the staff are always super friendly. Order ahead at peak times to avoid the crowds. This place gets super busy on weekends.

One of the freshest fish and chips shop around. Couta is my favorite at only $4 if you don't mind some bones in your fish. They are always generous with their servings of minimum chips. Friday is the best day to order as they change the oil on this day. Yes I work so closeby that I know all their secrets.
Great fish and chips - fish is always fresh and they can make a good chip. We have tried most fish and chip shops in the area, and this place is our favourite by far

The best bar none. We used to live about 5-10 minutes drive away from the shop and went there exclusively. We moved 10-15 minutes away and after one try of a closer place, we make the drive to Maribyrnong Rd every time. Like the old fashioned fish & chip stores, they always chuck a bit extra in and friendly as staff to boot. Best chippy in Melbourne.

Excellent owners , very friendly and often throw in a few extra things with my order . Oil changed daily so fish & chips always golden and crispy . Huge selection of fish .always fresh . The lady also does amazing fruit platters to order . Highly recommended this place .
the chips here are delicious. when you bit into them you can taste how nice the potato is, the chips aren’t greasy and have the perfect amount of salt and a excellent crunch to them, the same goes for the potato cakes and their chicken nuggets, omg. when you bite into them, flavourful juices come out a full you mouth with a lovely taste there is a similar experience with the flake. I highly recommend eating here as it is the best fish and chip store i have ever been to, good prices for quality food.
