View amazing, staff excellent-very friendly and helpful, food yum, cocktail jugs very yum. Best place to open up in this area for years and I’ve been in the area for almost 50. Keep up the good work �
We were so pleased to arrive at a restaurant at 3.30 pm for something to eat to be told of course we are serving food! We chose from a small menu the cuttlefish and the swordfish which we shared, the food was fabulous. Staff were very attentive and friendly view over Mordialloc beach was to die for. We will be back.

I arrived on a beautiful evening with the sun shining through the windows. I was immediately greeted and welcomed by staff. Our table was shown to us, which was situated perfectly next to the windows offering a spectacular view of outside. My kids and I headed to the play area and joined another family currently occupying the space. It’s a very inviting space for parents to meet other parents and for children to play together or have their own space if they prefer it. There are bench seats available for parents to observe their children, while they have a bite to eat or something to drink.
We had a brief play with building blocks or rather I say “crashing blocks” and a little tea party with my princess, before returning to our table to order the kids meals. The staff were prompt with attending to us and were happy to answer any questions we had about the menu. All staff that attended to us were very friendly and interacted with my children. The kitchen were also incredibly fast with delivering our kids meals (macaroni and cheese and fish and chips).
I ordered two small plates (Sumac & Alma Paprika Fried Calamari and Mushroom Arancini served with capsicum aioli from the specials board) and my husband ordered Confit Duck Leg served with pommes anna, roasted parsnip, pear puree, sour cherries and parsnip crisps. All three plates were quick and presented beautifully. The food was one of many highlights of the evening. They were delicious and also enjoyed by the kids. My son especially enjoyed eating meat off the duck bone, but won’t touch any poultry at home!
Staff continued to be attentive, checking in with us, ordering more fries for our chip monsters and clearly plates promptly. We returned to the play area after our meals for another play and my daughter roamed the venue trying to locate her favourite area (the kitchen). They happily engaged in conversation where appropriate and their interaction with my children was genuine. I quietly overlooked staff with other families and witness a staff member offer pencils and colouring at the table, even when the play area was on offer. Staff definitely go the extra mile here and I feel it is in the reflection of the culture of the venue and it’s owners.
Our visit was a wonderful experience for all four of us. We received exceptional service and food and the kids were able to be kids in a relaxing dining environment. No bit of dropped food, free roaming child or banging blocks were seen as an issue. SunnyBoy offer the whole package of meeting families needs when dining out and we are glad that they’re continuously striving to improve the dining experience for families (while also considering the needs of other guests when childless).
Went for a Thursday lunch and made a booking for 5. Was surprised to see we had to pay for parking, but I don’t think that’s the restaurants fault.
2 of us ordered the special (barramundi) whilst the others ordered gnocchi, burger and fish and chips.
Decent portions.
Downside - The burger patty was over cooked and no longer juicy.
Service : good and attentive wait staff. No complaints.
What a great place! Came here for a 50th birthday with a big group of 15 people. The staff were very accommodating, patient and professional. Food was delicious (as you can see!), drinks and cocktails all equally delicious. I would definitely recommend the Seafood linguini, Barramundi Croquettes and the Mussels. All the other dishes were delicious but those were a stand out. Thank you so much for accommodating all of us! We had a lovely time!
Oh boy, this place is actually a hidden gem. Came here to catch up with some great friends and had an amazing lunch. Great food in and relaxed setting. We'll definitely be back! Recommended!
Really cool joint for the area, great vibe, service and the food we had was decent. Next time I'll come with a group of people rather than date night with my partner, it's pretty funky and best enjoyed with groups in my opinion.

Awesome vibes, friendly staff from the security on the door, to the waitress & bartenders. will be coming back in the future and bringing my friends to have dinner and watch beautiful sunsets
Very friendly and accommodating. Clean premises and lovely beach views. Food was nice, I had the fish and chips, massive serve and really lovely fish. A loud and lively atmosphere.
Really nice space, great seating options and views of the sea from almost anywhere in the venue. We were there on a sunny winter day and it wasn’t overly busy mid afternoon. Very good service. Had a few drinks and some chips. Not sure if we would be back to eat the menu didn’t grab us. Chips were hot with nice seasoning and the dip was good too. If they open a sun deck in the summer on the front we might be back. Good choice of drinks, nice to see they’re supporting local businesses like Daylesford mineral water.

Pleasantly surprised by the cozy atmosphere and with the bonus ocean view in the background. Very open floor space with enough room to not be interrupted by other tables conversations. Great bar service here also. Served by Bella. Warm & attentive providing service that made us feel important as patrons. You don't get that everywhere. Definitely worth a visit when your are down in Mordialloc by the bay and make sure you have a cocktail ladies!!.
Very Friendly, helpful staff. Food was great, atmosphere awesome. One negative I have is on a hot day we were placed at the Windows looking out to the beach. It was so hot, with the sun streaming in. Best option is install pull down roller blinds for hot days like it was on 22/1
Divine Food! Excellent Service! Food was fantastic but portions are small. Service was outstanding! Atmosphere lovely BUT no view of Ocean at night & quite noisy; Function held there moved into Restaurant area so became quite noisy BUT food & service more than make --up for it!! Reasonable prices *
Amazing!!! Staff were super, super helpful. Loved that they could bring extra food out at anytime during the function. Space was great. We had the full lounge for about 50 and it was perfect! Super easy booking system for the room and food. Amazing view! Would highly recommend!!
Great place, warm and inviting, our waitress was Maddy what a lovely women she made sure that we were looked after and is very good at her job.
The food was so good recommend it highly, great tasting too, the food came out so fast i mean there was only 4 of us in the place but it did start to get full soon after.
We arrived there about 12miday, it would be best if you booked then you can ask for a table near the window, looking onto the water, it was my birthday yesterday and they gave me a lovely surprise of a little birthday cake, and didn't charge us.
i would recommend this Club to have a quite coffee, lunch or drink, ask for Maddy she will look after you very well.
The food and the atmosphere is amazing. The staff a super attentive and absolutely lovely. The only thing I didn’t love were the wooden high bench seats. Although the look is cool and fitting for a beach shack, they are not at all comfortable for shorter people.
We had the best meal in ages. The Mt Martha muscles - an experience!! Maddy is an amazing host - helpful, charming and delightful. Nothing is too much trouble. Not too noisy, great atmosphere and perfect food!! We will be back again.
