Really enjoyed the food. Service was good. We certainly return. Good to go too, as right next to Astor Theatre.
The Food was really good and came out quickly. I was surprised by an $8 corkage for one bottle of wine for three people though. I’ve usually been charged a couple of dollars at licensed restaurants for corkage.
🥡 Generous servings, really yummy food. Food arrived quickly and we were not disappointed. A little too much onion in some of the dishes, but other than that no complaints. Ribs, Kung Pow and Satay Chicken dishes were winners. Fried rice is spot on too.
🍷Alcohol available on the premises.
💵 Good value.
🙋🏻♀️Service was spot on. The staff were really polite and helpful with menu choices.
🍃 Nice quiet spot, indoor and outside spaces to eat. Not a “beautiful” location but conveniently located in the busy area of Mt Lawley.
👨👩👦👦 Family friendly.
🚘 Lots of parking right at the door.
👍🏻 Overall, a nice spot to grab a casual lunch or dinner that will not disappoint. Very yummy food, no greasy factor.
I love this place - the prawn toast is always bursting with prawn meat, the honey pepper pork chops are just delicious - I find it hard to go past. Noodles and greens are also good. The food always tastes fresh. Yes, it is more expensive then your local run of the mill Chinese restaurant but it's worth every dollar and is definitely better quality and a lovely atmosphere. This place is clearly not trying to just be a normal cheap chinese restaurant and it's next to the mount Lawley cafe strip, so i believe it's reasonably priced for a premium restaurant meal.
Delicious. The food here is to die for one of the dishes I had was the mushroom pepper brisket it just melted in my mouth absolutely delicious I highly recommend it.
Plenty of Chinese restaurants around, not many good ones tho. Great little restaurant, interesting selection of food. The Singapore Crab omelette was delicious as was the Duck spring rolls. Try the different dishes on offer as they are not your typical local Chinese restaurant.
Thank you for a lovely family catch up dinner. Prompt, friendly service, delicious food and a great vibe. Favourite dishes were the beautiful wanton soup, spring rolls, beef brisket and shangai noodles. Definitely coming again!!
First off the service was 10/10 - we unknowingly got here 15-20min before opening time as my grandma eats really early and the waiter opened up the second he spotted us waiting even though they weren't quite ready for us yet - very, very considerate! As for the food we ordered the 1/2 roast duck, kung po chicken, tofu (I forget the full name but it came with mince pork and gravy), and Asian veggies with 3 types of mushroom. All came hot and fast, with good presentation. Duck and veggies were particularly well cooked, and the chicken was awesome with the nuts and shallots giving it a real well rounded taste. Some dishes were a touch sweet, but that didn't bother me too much. A touch pricer than your average Chinese place, but WAY better service and food than your average Chinese place. Would go again and again if I lived remotely in the area!
Good feed, part of decent group so were able to try a variety of dishes, the Duck was really good as was the Prawns . Servings were generous and most plates could be shared between our group. We had 2 girls who were vegetarians and were well catered for. Service was on point, nice atmosphere too. Will be back!
Been here a couple of times and its really nice. Not the cheapest Chinese is Perth but the quality is definitely better than the average suburban or Northbridge outlets. Staff are friendly and efficient. Great location and some interesting dishes that you generally don't find elsewhere. Try the scallops and pork belly!
Ordered take away tonight and it was super yummy and the customer service was awesome. We had the chicken and sweet corn soup, duck spring rolls, sweet and sour pork and the salt and pepper chilli chicken. Looking forwarding to dining there in future and trying some other dishes. The restaurant looked very cosy inside.
A really nice place and the owner was really friendly to us. We booked a table a bit late but still managed to get one.
The foods are mostly for sharing. So, it's good if you come with a big group so you can try more dishes.
We ordered 5 dishes for 8 of us and we were very full after.
Been going to Fat Dragons for years and it hits the spot every time. I'd say they probably do the best fried ice cream in Perth. My favourite dish there is an off menu item recommended to me by the owner Nick about 6 years ago - beef brisket with crispy egg noodles with a side of their homemade XO sauce.
On our most recent visit, I accidentally ordered the 3 in 1 which came with a bed of egg fried rice topped with chips and covered in curry sauce... I can't wait to order it again.
First time here and im glad I went. The food was delicious and the service was prompt and wonderful. The staff made you feel welcome and it was a beautiful restaurant to visit. Would highly recommend having the sweet and sour pork with beautiful kick of lychee the Fried Rice and the banana fritters with ice cream which was very delicious.
Good restaurant which seems to be a non-regional Chinese restaurant. Liked the Singapore prawns and the Kung Pao beef. Wished we hadn't ordered the Mongolian lamb which was underwhelming.
Great service. Open a bit later (9:30pm) on the weekend. The Hong Kong style Kwae teow is good.
