Awesome selection of fresh, dried and packaged produce here. A lot of products I'd never ever seen before, including a fancy dog treats self-serve section! I would give it 5 stars but the prices are crazy expensive for some of the essentials. $8.50 for a carton of eggs! Bread is not cheap either.

“DO YOURSELF A FAVOUR & VISIT THIS IGA”
I would have to say that this IGA (Cnr 2nd Ave & Beaufort st) has to be one of the best IGA stores I have personally visited/shopped at. Although you are paying higher prices than the main supermarkets, you can almost always guarantee that the quality of the products at this IGA store is exceptional, and if not exceptional, then extremely good and fresh.
They have a huge variety of fruit/veg, meats, dairy, freezer, bakery sections and more.
The selection of fresh cakes are” to die for”, and they have almost any type of breads/loaves you can think of. They have a cold cut meat sections, coffee/ drinks section including a coffee machine to make yourself a coffee for just $2.00. They also have pies, sausage rolls, pasties, variety of fresh salads and also roast dinners, whether lamb, chicken, beef with all the vegetable and gravy if you wish.
They have beautiful fresh flowers, and the staff regardless are always so very friendly and helpful.
There is parking right outside the store as it is within the 2nd Avenue Plaza Centre, or undercover/underground parking.
Well done to this IGA.
Well deserved iga supermarket everything there I was received with the lovely lady in the flowers section with help with my flowers as my mother passed away she was very kind and helpful I can’t express my thoughts on how lovely and helpful She was and my bq was extremely beautiful … well deserved iga with everything there on hand thank you again been so local .
