Great little country pub. Good food at great value prices. Went for lunch on Saturday, I had pork belly, which I very rarely have, and my wife had the local Bangalow pork sausages. FANTASTIC. My pork was so tender and juicy and a great crackle. I tried some of my wife's sausage although I'm not a pork sausage fan, best I've ever tasted. Be worth the trip to Bangalow just to buy some. We went back for dinner on Sunday, music playing in the main bar , place full of locals great atmosphere. We both had the salmon, terrific. The girl taking orders on both occasions was lovely, but with only 2 cooks in the kitchen, the amount of food they put out along with the speed and the quality they do is a credit to them. This place is well worth the trip.
A proper classic Australian pub/hotel which is hard to leave.
We arrived in the early evening for a 3 generation family dinner and we were so glad we arrived early as the place became very busy within 30 minutes.
The whole place oozes charm and character, the patrons too. Everyone was enjoying their drinks and as time went by we all felt as though we were amongst friends. I was drinking Mullum Madness though lol.
The menu had me in a spin as I could not decide on what to eat. All meals are priced from 15 to 25 bucks and all seemed hearty feeds from what I saw.
Thank you and see you again soon.
Such a cute little town pubš Food Was AMAZING!!! They even had cute shirts, singlets and caps, my cousin and I got shirts. Will definitely buy another shirt and cap when Iām down that way at the start of June
