What a delight! After a terrible food experience in the Alpine region this long weekend, our final stop was the beautiful Cafe Chakra in Myrtleford... so glad we found you. The service was spot on (even though the cafe had a queue or people lining up), fast, reasonably priced and food was delicious. We had the lassi, iced chai, scrambled eggs with a difference! And the quinoa eggs omg yum yum. Thanks for accommodating us, will definitely be back and highly recommend to anyone stopping in Myrtleford
Some how managed four visits in 2 days it was that good! And delivery to car door is pretty damn exceptional!
Thanks so much!!
Great place to have lunch before going back to Melbourne. The food is amazing here, there is a bit of wait but it worth the wait. Curry is amazing smell really good and the Indian chai is the best so far.. defiantly come back.
An interesting concept, cross between Indian cafe and general breakfast food. Coffee is roasted in-house and tastes delicious. Great food options and great flavours! We were all very happy with our meals. I had the ancient grains porridge with baked quince! Delicious! Also serve traditional chai - you’ll need to wait extra time for this to brew. Very busy cafe indeed and I can see why. I will be back next visit!
Awesome find in Myrtleford as we passed through to Bright. Delicious freshly made smoked chicken salad with white beans, orange and spinach and my partner enjoyed his spiced chicken burger with delicious green salad with beetroot.
Definitely recommend this place to anyone passing through or staying near Myrtleford!
Fantastic coffee and great food. Coffee is roasted on site and all the food is absolutely delicious. Have been numerous times when we are in the area and never been disappointed. Always something new and fresh on the specials board too. My wife loves their muffins and particularly the carrot cake.
The coffee is to Melbourne standards (if the guy makes it)...although I did pay $5 for it on the Easter public holiday, but hey, I was on holiday mode and didn’t mind. I’d say it was worth it. The wait is a little to long though but the food and coffee is great! I had the açai berry and yogurt panna cotta. Was delicious, refreshing and just right. They do modern Australian & Indian fusion really well.
Have only been here for coffee before but I would say best coffee in the ovens valley by far. Cafe has a grrat vibe and very friendly service also. Highly recommend.
What a find! Great chai, awesome curry... but then wait for it... amazing coffee and breakfast dishes! Highly recommended for a quick stop or a proper meal. Will be back!
This place is a gem. . We stopped there on our way back from a holiday at the snow , found it with the Zomato app and the food was great! Vic the owner was lovely and have great advice on the food kids had toasties and ate them until the last crumb and we had the quinoa eggs and beans with eggs which was lovely . Great coffee roasted on premise and friendly staff . Highly recommended for a pit stop !
Thank god for good coffee. Fluked finding this place. Coffee was exceptional we came back twice. First time they stuffed up the order and we waited almost 20mins but hey the coffee made up for it. Will make sure to return next trip. Well worth the pit stop
Stumbled upon this while looking for some lunch. Extremely friendly and fast service. Had the chicken burger which was, the single best burger I think I've ever had! You Must try it. Great bacon toasty too, so says my wife.
Excellent food. Mushroom toastie is great. Coffee is excellent too, it's locally roasted. Beans are for sale too. Fast and friendly service. Very popular with locals. Recommended.
Had the best toasted egg and bacon sandwich here this morning. Everything down to the paper it was wrapped in felt carefully selected and arranged into a perfectly crispy delicious package. Coffee was great too!
Little gem! Kedgeree was great and kids loved the curry and lassi. Nice coffee, too.
As we drove back to Melbourne on Boxing Day we stumbled upon this delightful cafe. The staff and owner were very friendly and hospitable. We ordered a latte, flat white and a baby chino. All were superb! For food we tried the Chakra Curry and chicken burger. Both were spectacular. I highly recommend this place for food and coffee! Extra points for opening on Boxing Day! Thank you for making our dining experience a memorable one.
Fantastic coffee, delicious food and quick service, there was a good amount of gluten free options and some great cakes!
Really great coffee roasted themselves, we shared a toastie and a muffin which was more than enough food for us and tasted absolutely delicious.
Clearly the locals' spot, we arrived at opening time and within 20 minutes it was bustling with people catching up over a quick coffee.
Great Indian cuisine with amazing coffee and friendly staff. Pricing can be a little bit high but the quality of food is worth it. It is pleasant to the pallet and presented aesthetically. Staff is attentive and humorous, giving us a pleasant time during our brunch. Located on Myrtleford's main street, this little fusion gem is worth a try. Will be coming back for more.
