A gorgeous little find in a picturesque setting.
My breakfast was simple ! Poached eggs on toast ! The eggs were perfectly poached and the sourdough to die for .
The cappuccino was as good as you get in Taormina.
”Simplicity conceals an infinity of art “ and in this instance , the food is certainly a piece of beautiful art.
Get here early in the morning and see the wonderful spectacle of bike riders in all their Lycra , stopping for their morning coffee break .
Love it.
I've been here twice. It's a great spot for a nice lunch and the enclosed outdoor area for kids to play in is a bonus. My little one was given a nice comfortable high chair and there is a baby change table in the bathroom making it so easy for us mums! Both times myself and my family have had great meals, I've ordered the same dish both times (fusilli with broccolini). Will definitely be back again when I'm next in town.
The most wonderful pasta and sauces (all of us agree, whether the gnocchi, ravioli or lasagna), but the highlight was the caramel slice. Omg the best I have EVER tasted. The lemon tart was a close second, and the other desserts look equally impressive. Wonderful coffee, great service-what a joy to find this sensational cafe half way through our rail trail bike ride. Thank you Lupo!
Had lunch with a couple of friends here on my drive back to Melbourne. We shared a family bowl of the carbonara pasta which at about $50 seems steep but it fed 3 adults and a child. We also ordered a fish and chips and a small spaghetti bog. The Myrtleford local I dined with said that his family had been coming to Lupos since he was little due to their authentic pastas. On a really hot day with the doors all open and the mist spraying, the atmosphere was amazing. It looked like they grow a lot of their own produce on site as well which is really admirable.
Was looking for a place to lunch on our way back to Melbourne from the north east and boy are we glad we stopped here. We loved the duck and mushroom risotto! Packed full of flavour with the rice cooked to perfection, with enough duck and mushrooms. We sat outside because the atmosphere is just beautiful and relaxing, quite different to what you see from the outside. Their vege garden was flourishing. They also have gelato but we were too full to indulge. Quite a family friendly place. No credit card surcharge, friendly service.
Super nice and accomodating owners with probably best coffee in around Myrtleford and delicious dishes with fresh ingredients straight from the garden next to cafe.
Salmon Tartare was my favourite but we also tried light and fluffy pancakes in citrus juice melting on your tongue and amazing Epic BIG Breakfast.
The sitting on a child deck is so extremely lovely in sunny Spring morning overlooking kids playground for those with kids and Mt Buffalo NP in a background for nature lovers. It is also right behind the Bike Rail Trail so very convenient for those cycling.
The only thing that was a bit unfavourable was that dogs could not be on the same deck as the kids. They had separate deck behind cafe and with fabulous views too for those with dogs however it was a bit coldish there on a fresh morning in Spring.
Understandable to separate kids from dogs but since ours is tiny kids friendly ball of fluff and only kid there was our friends that love our dog it was more of the pity.
Having said that if we were there in month close to summer we could probably just sit at the dog friendly deck.
Do yourself a big favour and visit this fabulous family owed cafe.
Best find of my snowboarding trip - was told that there was no tables, mind you that this was in the middle of nowhere! Knew it was a great place.
The gnocchi and garlic bread were splendid!
Came here the first time we came to Bright during the autumn season of 2019 and was blown away by the absolute deliciousness of their home made pasta.
Now it's spring 2019 season and we're back! Will make it a point to stop by everytime we come back to visit Bright and surrounds to enjoy probably what I think is one of the best pasta we've ever had.
Amazing food, great coffee, friendly staff, beautiful atmosphere and surrounds. Good for families and city-travelers. Will return!
We had a lovely breaky on a gorgeous Melbourne Cup long weekend. The cafe overlooks the rail trail and is a perfect pit-stop for breakfast or lunch while doing the trail.
There's a fantastic playground and treehouse for the kids and nice outdoor dining area to warm you up after a long ride.
The salmon tartar was fresh and delicious, the coffee however was a bit off - it was dissappointing.
Overall a great time!
Full table service was a bit slow while the cafe was busy. Nice use of an old tobacco drying shed. Back entrance from the Murray to the Mountains Rail Trail East of Myrtleford. Beautiful food.
