Excellent coffee! My only negative is that when someone orders a cappuccino it's usually because they want the choc sprinkles on top - please give me sprinkles next time.
About 2 years ago I gave this place a bad review, I don't think it changed hands since then but I started going back about a year ago and I have to agree with the comment bellow:

Fantastic little coffee shop. We love the take home beans in the zip lock bag. Can't believe it took so long to find this place when it was right under our noses the whole time.

Flavours are bold, fresh and really well balanced and the servings are perfectly sized for lunch. If you’re a lover of a good sami, absolutely make the trip to Whah Whah!

I’ve been getting my coffee at Essence Coffee for years. Every fortnight because that’s when I see my shrink in Neutral Bay. However today (30/9/2021) when I went to get my coffee at Essence I was surprised to see that Essence Coffee has gone and now it’s been replaced by a new Coffee Shop called Whah Whah. The interior has changed in that they have moved the expresso machine from the deep rear (it’s a very narrow coffee space, which was part of its charm). However Covid 2921 has made the modifications required to push coffee. Anyway I decided to give Whah Whah the benefit of my coffee coin . The coffee crew has changed including the barista. New management I guess means new crew. The clientele doesn’t seem to have changed, lots of beautiful fit people wearing tight as anything pants expressing that positive, health and happy demeanour reminiscent of the suburb’s upper middle class. Beautiful people, small fluffy dogs, gorgeous mums’ pushing those ergonomic prams stopping on their daily exercise route for coffee. I’ve never seen so many fit, healthy, attractive people bunched together on a narrow sidewalk at the same time. Essence coffee had hundreds of regular customers who enjoyed the great coffee and tasty muffins and savoury treats. So much customer loyalty built by their online ordering. The amount of times BMW’s, Mercedes’ and Range Rover’s would illegally stop outside Essence Coffee as a employee would dash out with freshly brewed coffee. Lawyers, doctors and high end business managers got their morning start with fantastic coffee from Essence Coffee. Will Whah Whah have the same pull? Time will tell. The coffee I had was good. Up to scratch with the former coffee dealers. I also picked up a raspberry and banana muffin which Whah Whah has sourced from Essence Coffee’s muffin dealers. Coffee was good. Staff still settling in to the vibe but from first contact Whah Whah could be here to stay.
Amazing sandwiches and coffee, lovely people as well. Will definitely be back.

Coffee, service, food and staff are worth travelling all the way from Crows Nest for. Love your work team. Please open a cafe in Crows Nest.
