They say good things come to those who wait well i waited about 15-20min today at about 11am and damm was it worth it i had a beef snack pack with a 1/4 chicken and it was amazing definately worth the wait and 20min drive into mayfield will definately be back and now i know why your so busy
This place is a gem...best hot chips in Newcastle by far. Charcoal chicken is also ace, and the Toum (garlic) sauce is incredible. You can tell everything is made with serious TLC.
Greatest snack packs in Newcastle, nothing compares! Great staff, lovely people, they make you feel welcome. They produce and serve your food fast, barely felt like I had to wait it was that fast. And the prices are decent for the size of their servings. I going to come back every time I'm hungry and nearby.
Drove past this place and could just see it humming with people. Pulled in for a kebab and ended up buying a piece of charcoal chicken and some chips. The tastes were brilliant. We wanted more. The staff were excellent. Great value. Great tastes. Just a great experience. Taste taste taste!
The people that work here are legends, always serving with a smile. The food is second to none, easily the best kebab shop I’ve ever been to. Kebabs, snack packs, chargrilled chicken and gyros - they do it all.
Even the chips are cut in store making them really fresh.
I got the guys at Mayfield West Kebabs to cater my daughters 4th birthday party. We had about 50 or so people attend. It was so easy. Told the guys what time I needed it and when I got there they were just finishing salting the chips. All ready to go. Perfect.
Half of our guests were from interstate regions and they all said they haven't had hand cut chips like these for ages. They loved it all. Charcoal chickens, hand cut chips, fresh made salads.
The guys were even able to accommodate some of our guests that had special dietary requirements.

Best kebab ever I have tasted in Newcastle.
I moved from Sydney this January and have tried few kebabs from different kebab shop in Newcastle.
But I didn’t like any...
Today I have eaten kebab from this kebab shop, I just love it ♥️♥️
This family have this food down pat. Their chips are delicious, they are handout and you get all the little crispy bits like you used to get back in the day. Their kebabs are to die for, I'm not real extravagant having chicken, onion, cheese and BBQ sauce but it is the best kebab I've ever had. They cook the onion instead of putting raw onion and everything is just perfect, all mixed in together and the cheese is melted, man they are nice, I want one right now.
Not only is the food outstanding but they are very friendly and make you feel most welcome. I would highly recommend this take away without a doubt.
Very tasty chicken but the chips are to die for, the best I have ever had and there was little crunchy one too. I live 7 hours away but next time I'm visiting I'll be getting my chips and chicken there. Top rate.
This place is amazing. How do I know its amazing? The falafel.
I spent some time in Dubai when I was young and my fav food became falafel. When we moved back to Australia I couldn't find any good ones. They're always dry and pastey which sucks. I have gone here a couple times and everything has been amazing, had the falafel tonight and it was like being transported back to my childhood. They're so so so crispy and fluffy and delicious. So happy.
This place is a Mayfield institution, the hours? Confusing and quirky. The staff? So sweet and lovely. The food? So amazing. You know when you get salad at a kebab place and it's soggy and awful. Not here, fresh and delicious. The charcoal chicken is juicy and smokey. Every menu item here is 100/10
