Best Thai restaurant in Newtown, very friendly service and very intiuative. Food was awesome, lots of flavour but very pricey for Thai. The owner is very nice and they recommend the best food if you ask for it.
Great service, great food...
Friendly staff and quick service. The portions are big. If anyone is hungry for Thai this place won't let you down. The pad thai and spring rolls were delicious. However, drink options were limited but BYO is allowed. Would come back again and recommend.
This has been my 4th time at the restaurant and it's always been a great time for my family and I. The customer service and staff were super nice and friendly and everyone of them were professional. I forgot to provide a tip to the waiter that served us, but we will be coming back soon to celebrate my sister's birthday so I'm excited to come back and dine once again! Thank you for a memorable dining experience! This is the best Thai restaurant in Sydney! Keep up the good work, guys! Can't wait to dine again here soon.
Ordered: barramundi curry $24.90, pad thai $19.90 and lamb cutlets $25.90. The restaurant is massive, they have a downstairs area, always really busy and staff are very friendly. My favorite dish was the lamb cutlets it was so succulent and flavorsome with its honey soy glaze. The pad thai was also good but def overpriced for what it is. The barra curry had a fantastic flavor but the fish was a little tough. We asked for takeaway for our leftovers and they kindly added extra rice for us too.
Ok, this was a place that we wanted to go for a while. Like we would expect the service was quite fast and friendly. Ordered betel leaf prawn, papaya soft shell crab salad, curry puffs, tom yum prawn soup and barramundi curry.
Betel leaf prawn: 5/5
Papaya soft shell crab: 4/5
Curry puffs: 3/5
Tom yum prawn soup: 4/5
Barramundi curry: 4/5
Guess we wouldn't bother ordering curry puffs next time, but betel leaf prawn is a must for us!
The only downside for this place is that at around 10pm, most of the staff started cleaning up and straightening the tables. They even started stacking plates in the empty tables and mopping the floor, in front of us while we were still there?? We found it really weird, not that type of scene we would want while we were still tryina enjoy our meal.
We tried three flavour fish. Its so delicious!
Noting the reputation and long time presence in Newtown I thought to finally dive in with the girlfriend and parents for a birthday celebration. Lovely staff and delicious food but the quantity was lacking (stingy). Would recommend for those who fill up easily.
Really beautiful Thai food that reminded me of my childhood. We ordered all the traditional favourites like Tom Yum Goong, Red Duck Curry and Papaya Soft Shell Crab Salad. Also tried some new dishes like their Barramundi Salad and Three-Flavoured Snapper. All were beautifully cooked and presented. Ingredients were flavourful and fresh, portions large enough for sharing. Will come again
