Delicious food and awesome view of the river. We were originally after fish and chips and so happy we stopped here instead. The lunch special is incredible value at $9.90 per dish. My hubby ate the chicken Thai basil stir fry - full of flavour - and I had vege tofu pad see ewe, fresh crunchy veg, great smoky taste from the wok. Try it.
We had take away from Tuk Tuk and really enjoyed it. The meals where full of flavour and had good amounts of meat and veg. Delivery was super speedy- within 15 minutes of ordering on a Friday night. Very friendly service on phone and by gentleman who delivered the food.
Take away phone order on a Sunday night - ready in 15 mins! 3 main dishes, 1 entree and 2 soft drinks $65. The food was AMAZING! Highly recommend.
It’s hot, it’s humid, but that Noosa for you in summer. Food is sufficiently authentic. Operators are Thais which is always a good sign. Had the jungle curry, tom yum and som tum. All were reasonably spicy
If you are bored of seafood and need something else other than fish and chips, burgers or top shelf dining, tuk tuk Thai isn’t a bad choice
Last night of our holiday we decided to walk to this Thai place with our bevvys. We arrived early with no one else sitting, so we had the choice of our pick of the small amount of seating area.
As we try out new Thai places, we have standard order to see how they are. So we ordered Chicken Green Thai Curry, Stir fry Pork with Thai basil and chilli, Vegetable & tofu Pad Thai and steamed rice.
First off, the portion sizing is excellent! A lot bigger than other establishments.
Chicken curry very tasty, lots of vegies 3.5/5.
Pork Stir Fry, the fresh basil was fragrant and not overpowering. Pork was tender & Fresh chillies visible and nice and hot 4/5.
But my favourite was the Vegetable Pad Thai. Thinner noodles than usual, but cooked to perfection and the sauce and flavours amazing 4.5/5.
The tables filled up fast and with a constant flow of takeaway orders and uber orders the place was busy. Staff very friendly and no corkage on BYO!
We will return!

Our dishes tonight were a mix of hit and misses with special mention to the delicious garlic & chilli soft shell crab.
The seafood in the Suki Saki Seafood dish, a combination of seafood, chicken, vegetable & vermicelli rice noodles was a little bit suspect, so id stick to your standard proteins in the mains.
The kids loved the pineapple fried rice.

Very good Thai food. Excellent range of menu choices, some of which (as others have also said) not quite authentic Thai, but good nonetheless :)
Fragrant, aromatic food, subtle complex flavours, not often achieved in Thai food served in Australia, even in some places far more expensive than this one. Well worth a visit, if you are more interested in the food than the decor and ambience, walk past the fancy looking places and go to Tuk Tuk instead. Service is good, ambience and decor fine for a streetside cafe, looks directly across the road to the Noosa River and diners are above street level passerbys, terriffic!!
Best Thai in noosa! Also interesting options such as crispy pork belly with rice, egg noodle soup with fried chicken, bbq roast duck with rice. Not sure all traditional Thai but great to have this in noosa! Lunch specials also good and only around $10. Highly recommend.
The best Thai food I've eaten in Australia. Really authentic and full of flavour, an excellent little place.
As a local we have a terrific choice of places to eat. Tuk tuk Thai is one of the few that we like to visit again and again. Great food, authentic flavours, friendly service and good sized portions. Excellent value for money and a wide variety of tastes and flavours catered for. Definitely a 10 out of 10 recommendation from this diner! I wrote this in 2013, now in 2018, my response is still the same.
