Not your traditional falafel shop as it is very modern. Be prepared to pay a little extra but the falafels themselves are fresh and not dry.
This was an amazing plate of food, in both size and quality!
Everything on the Halloumi Falafel plate was great - the hummus, the halloumi, the salad, the pickles, the sauce, and especially the Falafel - just so soft, flavourful, and perfect.
Highly, highly recommend.

As a lover of Middle Eastern cuisine, and being vegetarian, it is no wonder I constantly have my ears pricked for recommendations of the best falafel in Melbourne. A good falafel is not just about texture, it is about flavour and accompaniments as well. Well, that had me. There is a reason why people flock here. at every time of the day and into the night. The menu is modern – this Israeli
Never realised how delicious falafels could be. Ordered one of the plates on deliveroo. So much delicious salad and sauces inside. So filling couldn’t even finish. The pita bread was a bit dry, but was good to have with the plate.
Generous portions and reasonable price. Falafels are crunchy on the outside and delicious. Delivery is timely and your food always arrives hot. My only qualm is that the broccoli and salad seemed to be really salty.
My favourite place for pita stuffed with yummy veggie goodness and delicious falafels prepared upon order! A generous portion; I usually end up eating half of it and saving the other half for my next meal. Also tried the fries for the first time and they were fragrant and each fry had just the right balance of a crisp outer layer and a soft, fluffy inner filling of potato. Never disappoints! :)
The food here is incredible. The halloumi pita is my absolute favourite and it is HUGE - perfect for a late lunch. The staff are really friendly and the prices are very reasonable for the amount of food you get.
Really good falafel pita! Service felt a bit rushed however the food made up for that. Heaps of sauce and fillings. Falafel was the best, wasnt dry at all
I have long just wanted some falafs and I sure am glad I got some. A warning - these are very large serves that a gutz like me appreciates very much.
My favourite healthy veggie treat in Melbourne. Felafel is fresh and tasty and excellent value. The flavours of all the dishes are perfectly balanced.
These guys take their food seriously and it's not just falafs. Seriously try anything on the menu, it's so good! From the roasted veggies to the hummus.
Service is also incredibly friendly every time I've been.
This place can get busy even on weeknights so I would advise takeaway or going to the gardens across the road for a picnic style meal.
ORDERED:
🌯 Haloumi Pita: Falafel, hummus, local haloumi cheese, layered with golden fried cauliflower, pickled cabbage, sumac pickled onion, topped with pickles and tahini ($15.00)
REVIEW:
Just Falafs has a cosy interior, fitted with high ceilings and instagram friendly plant aesthetics. There's limited seating inside, but everyone seems to take away anyway. So you have a good chance of nabbing a seat regardless!
The haloumi was delicious and exactly what I was looking for. The pita is generously stacked, where I had to take some of the haloumi in order to fit my mouth around it. That also meant I got some haloumi to munch on the side!
I'm always scared ordering a falafel because I've had some awfully dry ones. However don't fear! Just Falafs have them MOIST and flavourful. Definitely would recommend Just Falafs if you have a hankering for a falafel pita.
What can I say, food and falafels, 5 star! Great falafels, sides, variety and options. Not a huge dine in space but good for a quick bite. Definitely more takeaway or delivery options here. Staff are efficient without being super friendly. Worth the trip for the food though as you won't be disappointed
Harry, who made the Falaf, just made me the best Falafel of my life and my friend seconded that. The Halloumi Falaf was sour, spicy and savoury. It was wrapped in Pita Bread and wow. I honestly thought Falafels were overrated till I stumbled across this humble looking discreet cafe in Fitzroy North.
We went to get a quick snack at Just Falafs and it was absolutely amazing. I haven’t liked falafel in the past but when I tasted these it was like tasting heaven. We also order some chips with garlic and rosemary. The garlic gave the chips a beautiful taste. I would go there every day if I could.

It's a toss up between Very Good Falafel for who does a better falafel, but I'm on team Just Falafs for the name alone and the rosemary on the chippies.
Falafel with halloumi pita is the best worldwide 🤤👌🏼 hope they open for dine in, covid is over! Been a customer since 2018 and it’s the only restaurant I missed while been away due to covid
