This is my local KBBQ! Have been going here for perhaps 10years or so and have still love it. The spicy pork is so yummy and the owners and staff are very attentive and amazing. Will continue to come here on the regular!
I HAVE NEVER BEEN SO SATISFIED WITH FOOD
The location isn't the most convenient like I actually walked from Westfield Parramatta to this place and walked back after but I guess the walking helped burn some of the food I ate. I went during lunch on a Friday and there weren't many people there. It's really peaceful and the staff are VERYx9999999 nice!!!!
There's not THAT many choices of meat but there's still plenty and they replace it very quickly once it runs out. Also very very fresh.
They also change your grill plate thingy every now and then.
$28 was worth it
Everything is so FRESH and DELICIOUS!!!!!! I LOVE IT SO MUCH. TRUTHFULLY I DIDN'T EXPECT MUCH CUS OF THE KINDA LOW RATING BUT OH MY GOD, AFTER HAVING A DINNER BUFFET HERE IM SURE THIS RESTAURANT DESERVES 5/5 ^^ KEEP UP YOUR GOOD WORK đź’•

Quite enjoyed Charcoal Mine. Came across it last night while trying to find a Korean bbq in the Parramatta area and was impressed by the flavours of their meat. For $36 a person I would have liked to see more sides like pancakes, or noodles, or soup or something, but the meat was delicious! I personally liked the chilli bacon and the marinated the beef and pork belly the best. You'll definitely leave smelling like smoke as it is completely indoors, but it was well worth it :) Very friendly service here too
$27 pp for Korean BBQ buffet is such a great deal! The selection is enough and they have some marinated meat. Everything that I tried was good and they had plenty of side dishes as well.
Wish there was a similar place in Melbourne, I would go there every week!
The place was a bit empty for lunch, not sure if that's how it is every day.
Super authentic restaurant we had a dinner with 5 people very satisfied . In your menu try to change the rate for 2 people as$36 it has been $25 .
My go to! Has all the kbbq essentials! Love the spring onion salad. Tasty food. Polite service. Never a disappointment. But bring your appetite your going to want to eat!
Charcoal mine has been around since the 1990's; in essence, the only thing that has changed since the 90's is the price range!
For $33, you get a limited selection of food; in contrast to other places that offer more selections with that price.
Kinda outdated, pales in comparison to a load of Korean BBQ...

$33 all you can eat. It used to be $22 when we started coming here way over ten years ago. But still great value if you have a good appetite. Those pay per plate places are a rort.
Aside from the usual chicken/wings, pork belly, marinated beef/ribs, mussels, calamari, baby octopus, ox tongue, they also do offal - kidneys, liver, giblets, tripe, and intestines. These are a light violet/grey colour when raw and are really long, then shrink up upon contact with heat and turn into these little brown tubes. They ooze a little, are chewy when not cooked enough, but when done long enough, are crispy and juicy. Yum.
I love mixing up all the different sauces and their delicious mushrooms, kimchi, spicy shallots, oranges and watermelon to finish.
The selection of offal and buffet makes this my favourite Korean BBQ place, haven't found another that does both better than here. If you're not into offal, then Se Jong in Campsie have a larger selection of food (big non BBQ/ready to eat selection) and is also a buffet.
If you love meat, there’s no shortage; bulgogi beef, scotch fillet, marinated beef ribs, pork belly, spicy pork, marinated chicken and chicken wings. The cut is surprisingly good quality, excess fat has already been trimmed off.
Charcoal Mine BBQ House Parramatta is the first all you can eat Korean BBQ (KBBQ) in Australia.
