Service with aš robust coffee and addictive treats.
It is a very nice dessert cafe to try on, they offer a variant bakery and pastry. Both presentation and taste are excellent. We do love our cake, delicious. And the L'atlantique baguette, smoke salmon and cheese, was superb. As for the coffee was average, not because of the coffee bean but the waitress skill. Service is good, friendly. The place is calm and cozy, good ambience.
Such a sweet little spot. The savoury crepes are a winner for breakfast, the coffee is very nice and the crossiants...particularly the pistachio/raspberry combo, have to be my favourite outside of France. I can never leave this place without paper bags full of goodies.
A lovely little spot for great coffee and tasty baked French treats. The service was quick and to the point. Lunch here is also delicious with some classic French favourites like vou-la-vents and French onion soup, but done really well.
La Madeleine serves many amazingly irresistible goodies. Some beautiful cakes are displayed, and other options can be found in their extensive menu. Among four ladies, we opted for savoury pancakes and different croissant options, savoury and sweet. Just delish! Their coffee is strong which I loved (not everyone around the table did, however).
The decor, pastry, coffee and especially the famous croissant are so good and lovely. Beautiful spot in Norwood to stop by. I have been to this place multiple times and loved it every single time.
The staff are very friendly and professional. Sourdough bread loafs are wonderful as well.
Can't wait for another early morning treat here.
La Madeleine is my favourite!! The best place in Adelaide for coffee, cakes and pastries. The cake "pleasure" is my go to I've ordered one for so many occasions.
Service is always super friendly and welcoming
Add it to your lists as I highly recommend this place.
If you have ever read my reviews you will probably realise my 2 main food groups are coffee and pastry, and given that I have been in the bakery and FMCG industry for some 25 years I can comfortably say you will not find a better proper French croissant in all of Adelaide. The coffee is definitely worth trying too, you need to get in early to avoid disappointment but beyond that itās definitely one of the parades best kept secret!
I am a pastry chef , qualified from the French school Cordon Bleu. These are the best croissants in flavour and size you could find in Australia. We came to Adelaide for holidays from Canberra and couldnāt leave without having those croissants again, and again and again
I had my friends baby shower high tea! Will was amazing and did an amazing job on the food!! I would definitely recommend this beautiful cafe!!
