Review The Greenhouse Of Orange - Orange

Tony Morris
The food is not cheap but it is good. It is a huge area with a number of different bars and restaurants on the rooftop of the ex services club. The beer is cold and there is plenty of room for the kids to run around inside and outside. Extremely child-friendly. There is also a huge television in the outdoor area so that you can watch your favourite sporting team. This is just the sort of place that Orange needed.

This Place is incredible, level 3 above services club, enter on the magic elevator and heaven awaits... Happy hour $5 spirits and beers, very V.I.P and secure and fancy, fabulous hosts and bar staff and chefs, meal prices are very competitive with pubs and bars and this is a cut above the rest... toilets are also pristine, kids own kingdom with seperate family dinning, and the biggest outdoor area ive seen almost a home away from home đź’–. Would HIGHLY recommend this to the smart and stylish this is absolutley brilliant

We came on Sunday for dinner but found everything bar the pizza restaurant closed. This information wasn't available to us online beforehand which is the only reason for the 4 rating. The grounds themselves are pristine and I can see why this place would be popular with both families and people out for a good night.

This place had only just opened so a few teething problems with service. to be expected. We took the entire family there. 2 out of 3 of the kids did not like the gravy on the chicken schnitzel, but that's kids. My lamb was a bit over done , but my wife baramundy fish was fine. the place overall is amazing for Orange and will be fantastic in the warmer months sitting outside. it will be interesting to go back when the service is more stream lined and the staff find their feet.

An oasis in the centre of town. Located on the roof of the Orange ExServices Club, it’s spacious and offers a variety of food and drink choices. I’ve only been here for coffee but the meals look fabulous.

Well, where do I begin....... has great beers, excellent ambience, good play area for kids. That’s where the good ends. The meals took over an hour to come out. The tomato sauce was pizza sauce, the ham and pineapple pizza was actually ham and pear (all kids meals). The adults meals came out well before the kids meals, the waitresses were wandering around with food and couldn’t find tables, the crackers were non existent on the tasting plates and it wasn’t even that busy. Maybe pick a Monday evening after food delivery to check it out.

Pretty dissapointed with my experience. What was promised on the menu did not align with what was delivered. The essence of hollandaise sauce, a hard boiled poached egg and burnt toast all for $25. Sadly probably the last time I'll be at the Greenhouse for food.

The Greenhouse simply put is the nicest RSL I've ever been to. The upstairs outdoor area has a really nice atmosphere, relaxed and cosy with heaters to keep you warm on a cold night. Food is great, as is many other places in Orange. Try the wood fired pizzas and sous vide steaks!
