As always the food was excellent and the staff as friendly as ever. Always a great experience. The Steak 🥩 sandwich 🥪 is still the best on the Coast. Well done John and Linda for creating a great meeting place for us locals and also a happy work environment, this is reflected through your staff. 😊
Me and my little family dined here for breakfast today and all i can say about this cafe is the service was really friendly and attentive and catered to our 3 young kids well with coloured pencils and paper for the whole family whilst we waited for our meal that only took 10 to 15mins max. On to the food which was by the way the cheapest for quality in that area that we seen avertised so we didnt expect it to be so delicious we are now hooked and will be now calling this our go to eating place for good meal and great service in paradise point
10/10 meals
10/10 service
Kid friendly
Highly recommend!!!!

Great relaxed location overlooking the park and waterways of the Paradise Point Gold Coast area. Staff were super helpful, patient and easy going. Food was great- good size serves and really tasty - for classic big breakfast style. A good selection of combinations and extras so you could mix it up. Pretty good spot for a bustling morning hang out. Lots of dogs and kids and happy people being active.
We stopped at the little strip of shops actually looking for some fish and chips to take to the beach to eat, but the only fish and chip shop we could find was a bit more upmarket than the old wrap it in butcher paper and take it away type, so we kept walking. We found this place and stopped in - they had a lunch special - for $19.90 you got two courses and a house wine or soft drink.
I didn't expect a lot for the price, but the food was amazing! The entree sizes were a little on the small side, but two courses for that price - hey, what can you expect? Hubby ordered the prawns in coconut broth and he was disappointed that he didn't get more (because it tasted so good!), I had bruschetta and they managed to pack some amazing flavours into those couple of slices of bread with tomato on top!
When it came time for the main - it was even better. Hubby had the mushroom risotto - anyone reading my posts would know that he loves a risotto, and from the "mmmm" noises coming from the next chair, it was obvious that he was enjoying it. I had chicken curry and it was Thai based rather than Indian based - it was a mild curry with just a little kick as it went down. We chose soft drinks for our drinks, and they weren't post mix, but a proper pre-packaged drink. It was really really yummy and we might just have to go back before we go home!
Great Food Great Service. Found this Blue Olive Cafe Restaurant by accident or should I say by the providence of God. The waitress is very sweet and friendly. I ordered the Seaford Chowder and hubby ordered the special lunch package. The food came soon and boy oh boy, was .my Chowder delicious. Although it is categorised as Light Meal the portion was generous and at the end after I "licked" my plate clean and empty I was really full.
My hubby ordered salmon platter and he loved it too.
