Its a real south Indian food with reasonable price. Full of flavors and safety.
Could not find any fault great food, brilliant covid safe service. The flavours the variety of food authentic and pure. Must visit
37 minute wait for food but it was good. Rich flavours in everything from the dosa (strange thick type but packed full of good stuff) to the bhaji with whole discs of onion inside. No dumbing down compared to the Singapore branch I went to. Not cheap but the serves were quite large - compares well to any of the Harris Park places I've been to.
Masala Dosa was delicious with lots of chutney, Tomato, Coconut & Garlic. The batter was fresh including the vegeatable.
Slightly pricey than other restaurants, but better than others for taste and quality
SB special meals is the closest you can get to Indian style authentic meals in Sydney. Very tasty and the extra rice they provide apart from the meal itself makes it completely satisfying. Love the place.
Amazing food and best service for Indian food in Sydney
Recommend for jain food
Must try its cheese dosa
This was my second visit to Saravanaa Bhavan and they surprised me by tasty dishes. Earlier dosa was fine but veggie and chutney did not taste good. But now they have changed and change is for us. I think everyone needs second chance. Surely gonna visit again.
This joint is amazing!!!! We work colleagues visit this place every week. The food is so tasty. We love the mini-tiffin (which has a taste of all the dishes). Thanks Saravanaa Bhavan Parammata for serving us with hot and delicious authentic food.
Delicious thank you so much! Mum and I loved the dosa, the idly and the vada!
I was craving for Indian food in Sydney and the best place to try Indian food was Saravanaa Bhavan. I enjoyed the taste and ambience was amazing. It is a must try and my family enjoyed the food.
The THAALI meals here, are amazing.
Clean and tidy area, they even smell great!! The typical Indian curry smell will not be at this place.
The service is also great. They got drinks too.
A place to visit again. Definitely would recommend
I came for the new year dinner and the meals were really good. I enjoyed the vegetarian food and the technology used to check in for covid. I really enjoyed the rasam which was really spicy and tasty. I was hoping for some Tamil music but didn't happen while I was there.
It had been a week in Sydney and I was missing Indian food. Stopped by Sarvanaa Bhavan and wow, loved every bit of it. Had the Rava Masala Dosa and Idli Vada. Both were served with 3 chutneys and sambhar. Both Sambar and chutney was outstanding. Dosa was perfect, not oily at all and tasted great. Had Chai after that, but it wasn’t that good. I’m sure coffee would have been great.
One issue, they don’t have a physical menu, you have to scan the QR code. If for some reason you don’t have Internet, they wouldn’t even assist you with a Menu. I had to request the manger to show menu on his phone as my data has some problems.
Having said that, best place to stop by if you are craving our South Indian delicacies
Best masala dosa place in town.
Being very consistent through years.
The dining environment has quite a bit family vibe where staff are all so friendly.
The classic masala dosa and the onion dosa is a must try. Their variety of chutneys for dosa enhance the flavour of the dosa. Love the coconut one very much.
Have the masala chai to go with your meal is very brilliant experience. I love the strong cardamom flavours of their chai.
Located at a walking distance from the Parramatta station. The place has a decent occupancy. The food is good but I would be highly concerned about the amount of spices used. The service is reasonably responsive. Covid norms had been pretty well taken into account, especially with cleaning, check-ins and a robot serving the food to avoid any physical contact.
My favourite restaurant! The food is always delicious and satisfying - there's an extensive menu to choose from, and I love that it's all vegetarian. I don't think I've ever ordered anything that I didn't thoroughly enjoy.
The service is friendly and attentive, and the atmosphere casual and relaxing. Also find the ordering system (scan QR code and order from your phone) very convenient.
Finally, there's great entertainment value from the robot server - and from the massive dosas and pooris that you can get!
Love the food, cleanliness and friendly staff in here. We absolutely loved all the food we ordered, especially the gobi manchurian (a deepfried cauliflower dish). You must try it!
We also had masala chai which comes without sugar, so didn’t have to worry about it being too sweet. My daughter complimented how fabulous and clean restaurant looks. The kids loved robots serving food. There’s a wilson parking in the building which is very convenient as it’s a rainy day.
