Best Japanese in the area by a mile. Sushi Boat to die for. Bento Boxes absolutely delicious, nothing was too much trouble and the waitress we had was fantastic also. Tempura top notch - one of the best meals I’ve had in the area in a LONG time

Had a katsu bento box it was awesome my partner shared a sushimi platter with a friend and the kids had some noodle dish.
All quality, the portions are big and reasonable prices!

Ate here with a friend in a Wednesday night in years. It was very quiet so we were served well. We ordered the sushi and sashimi boat for 2 and it was beautiful. So fresh and extremely tasty.
Actually one of the best Japanese places In Melbourne and I love my Japanese . The sushi and hand rolls are always super fresh and delicious! Decent servings and terryiaki salmon is another winner :)
We live locally and come here frequently. So much so that the staff certainly know us and what we order. Easily the best Japanese in the area and an all round family favourite.
The restaurant isn't over the top, rather it retains authenticity and a homely feel. I highly recommend almost all of their entrees as the star of the show (we usually get lots of the entrees and some sushi to share). However, the beef tataki has got to be one of my all time favourites.
If you live locally, love Japanese but don't want to go all the way into the inner suburbs to find it, give Ariake a go!
BEST JAPANESE FOOD EVER! The owner was so friendly and explained everything we were eating and how it was made. The aburi salmon roll and tempura flat head was so impeccable. Not a single thing to improve on. Definitely recommend and come again!!!!!!!!
Best Japanese in the area, closest to my experience in Japan. Highly recommend sushi boat. Can take awhile to receive food but worth the wait :)
