The food is still delicious. We have been visiting Shavans for 20+ years. We have seem the restaurant grow into what it is today. The service was very friendly and prompt Reception/management staff need to be mindful where they have a disagreement. The food was delicious as always. There is an extensive menu, and great options for everyone. Including vegetarians and vegans. Shavans is no longer BYO. It is family/children friendly We will be back again.

I went in for dinner with my girlfriend on Saturday night and was incredibly impressed with everything. The place itself was beautifully decked out with a nice elevated view and warm family-friendly atmosphere. We ordered the tandoori lamb cutlets as an entree, the beef vindaloo & chicken kadai as mains with rice and garlic naan. The food was not only delicious but the service was also top notch. Special care was taken by our server Dipthi who clarified questions we had regarding spice level and her personal favourites on the menu. Even our host Devar was very hospitable and ended up going by table by table and to ensure the food was enjoyed by the patrons. Importantly this was done in a short and non-intimidating way as you could tell he has a passion and care for the food in the restaurant. Overall the experience was great and will definitely be back again.

My boyfriend and I came to eat here after we went grocery shopping. We initially thought the Prices were abit High but wow it was worth it. This is the best indian food I have ever eaten and this is my new favourite restaurant. 10/10 recommend. The staff also provide lovely service.

We went here on Saturday night and it was superb. The service was incredible and the food was amazing. I have to mention that the owners cousin/nephew is an absolute asset to your business. He was incredible. We were a table of 6 women and he made sure we were looked after the entire night. I haven’t had service like that for a long time and we all agreed we would be back very soon. We are regulars to your amazing takeaway but since covid have been hesitant to eat out. The Butter chicken is the best anywhere as is the coconut prawns. The samosas are to die for. A Truly wonderful restaurant ❤️

The service has blown our minds, friendly, attentive and courteous and only to willing to help with suggestions and pairing dishes. Then the main attraction the food! Wow, a taste and sensory overload just as the menu describes. The portions are extremely filling and not to be underestimated. All great value for money 💰 Can’t wait to be back for more as the dining experience was sublime.

Had the most remarkable experience at Shavans in Patterson Lakes! The staff were incredibly friendly and attentive. The food was exquisite and very well priced. I cannot recommend the tandoori lamb cutlets highly enough!

We had a family catch up dinner there the other night and had a wonderful experience. All the food was lovely, the "French" chops were delicious and our waiter Akash was attentive, helpful and fun. The cocktails were delicious. Thanks for a great night
