The chefs at Sushia Izakaya prepare modern Japanese cuisine to hungry patrons seated in their clean & well presented restaurant. The dishes we had were great; the chefs did well to accentuate the delicate flavours of the fresh produce we were served. The wait staff were attentive & knowledgeable, and overall it was an enjoyable experience. Price wise, this restaurant is on the more expensive side of the spectrum, and dinner and drinks for two cost just shy of $300. There is an option to do a set menu, however with our dietary restrictions we were unable to take advantage of it.
Great food! Well balanced with good combinations that bring out the natural flavours. We got the lunch course menu. It's a bit dark (leading to average photos) but it's not that bad in person.
Sake variety is good and prices are reasonable for Australia.
Nice little restaurant, very friendly staff who were very accommodating to us; my girlfriend can't have prawns and they were happy to modify the omakase menu to suit her. Food was nice and fairly priced for the product.
