So glad we found out about this place.
The food was absolutely amazing!
And the staff were fantastic.
I will tell everyone I know and we will be back to finish the menu
Thankyou
Third visit here and the food again was amazing. So fresh and delicious. The pickled ginger is so refreshing. Every plate was pleasing to the eye and the palette.
Had dinner here the other night for one. Started with the salmon tacos - I thought while the salmon was fresh they were very plain. Not enough seasoning. The calamari I thought was nice, good touch of spice and soft. The sushi however thought was too thick. The flavour was good but if was messy to eat because they were a bit too large. Service I think needs the most improvement, when I asked for the bill it came 10 mins later and they didnāt bother to clean the table. then no one came up to me with the machine to process my payment. After waiting 15 minutes I decided to get up and walk to the register myself. Multiple staff members saw me but no one helped, finally after another 5 mins someone came. Poor service and ok food, donāt think Iāll return.
This was an excellent experience. Really enjoyed the Unagi Jyu set and the beer was cold & fresh. Best beer I've had in a while. Great atmosphere and vibe and super friendly staff. Ā Would definitely return.
Came for dinner and it did not disappoint. Loved the design of this place and only complaint is it's a bit dark. Cant fault the food tho. Fresh sashimi and delicious beef takaki. Soft shell crab with watermelon was good too. Bit pricy but I think it's worth it.
Probably the best Japanese in Perth. Great chic setting in a basement. Good for a romantic dinner but also works for a business lunch. Food and sushi is superb. More expensive than others but probably worth it
My regular go to place for a quick lunch when I am in Perth for work. Heaps of variety to choose from and the turnover rate is good. Service is rapid so perfect to get in and out when you are in a hurry. The chicken karaage on brown rice is a winner.
My partnerās favorite place in Perth, and recently being introduced to Japanese food, I have now been pleasantly surprised and love it also! Dessert platter is great value, just everything you eat here is epic.
Dinners at Sushia are always amazing! Iāve been a number of times and it never disappoints.
They even manage to make their Edamame stand out!
Sushia was very impressive. The setting is gorgeous, hidden under Brookfield plaza and the restaurant is elegantly decorated. It was a quiet night and we felt like we were having a private dining experience. The staff are all very polite, highly knowledgeable and attentive. In terms of the food, the sashimi was the clear stand out, with each fish being fresh, high quality and delicious. We also loved the almond matcha cake, which surprisingly was frozen but gorgeously creamy and a delicate balance of matcha and sweet flavours. For me the pork belly was a letdown as it has a very mild, almost bland taste. The price was very reasonable. I would gladly return to try the rest of the menu.
Modern and stylish interior design. Itās located in Perth CBD . Itās a bit hard to find the place as it hide in downstairs. Food has good quality. Spiced crab is worth to try . Garlic fried rice is simple but tasty . Wide range of drink list and you canāt miss sake in here. In general , itās a great place to dinning . Call them and get a table first :) enjoy !
**NOT JUST A SUSHI JOINT** If you can find a better tasting more tender and juicy eye fillet than you get here you should go ahead and marry it. Seriously. Not sure if it always comes this way but they somehow knew Iād be sharing dish with dining companion so it came on a long platter with serves on either end with a salad between. All the usual Jap staples but everything done with flair, attention to detail and freshness. Very roomy interior, good ambience and a warm inviting feel all round. Service attentive tho it would be easier if all staff could take all orders instead of apparent demarcation if duties between bringers of drinks, food orders etc. Also some desserts were a little too sweet with tendency to a more Western palate, Iād have preferred sticking to traditional Japanese desserts which arenāt a sickly sweet and delicate in flavours. Overall tho itās now on my list of go to places in the CBD.
The chefs at Sushia Izakaya prepare modern Japanese cuisine to hungry patrons seated in their clean & well presented restaurant. The dishes we had were great; the chefs did well to accentuate the delicate flavours of the fresh produce we were served. The wait staff were attentive & knowledgeable, and overall it was an enjoyable experience. Price wise, this restaurant is on the more expensive side of the spectrum, and dinner and drinks for two cost just shy of $300. There is an option to do a set menu, however with our dietary restrictions we were unable to take advantage of it.
Great food! Well balanced with good combinations that bring out the natural flavours. We got the lunch course menu. It's a bit dark (leading to average photos) but it's not that bad in person.
Sake variety is good and prices are reasonable for Australia.
Nice little restaurant, very friendly staff who were very accommodating to us; my girlfriend can't have prawns and they were happy to modify the omakase menu to suit her. Food was nice and fairly priced for the product.
Fantastic sushi rice and fresh fish. Service staff were prompt and courteous. Pricing is little hefty but well worth the price in my opinion especially for their lunch sets. The unagi rice set is simply fantastic and the tempura prawns were fried to a fluffy batter equivalent to many of the finer restaurants in Japan! I would certainly return if I have the chance to visit Perth again.
Such a nice place to go for a fancier date night. I have been looking for fresh sashimi all around Perth and this restaurant seems like the only place that has fresh juicy sake šš»šš»
Will definitely recommend this place to anyone who loves sushi and has high expectations like I do.
The food here was pretty good. We went there for during lunch and they had the set lunches there. It was okay but I feel the service was not fantastic even though to it was empty, maybe they were closing as I went there at 215pm. Otherwise the place feels nice and cozy.
