Review Jaws Sushi Hay Street Mall - Perth

Annie L
Our go to place for sushi. Been here for many years. Always delivers and the restaurant atmosphere is always pleasant. Their sushi has the best flavours and they are fresh. One of my favourites from here is their Una Tama (Bbq eel omelette). Service is always quick even for ala carte order that you cant find from their sushi train.

I ate here last night and it was so delicious. Earlier in the night, I was clumsy and accidentally tipped one of the karrage chicken off the rail and into my sleeve and the chef were so kind about it, he cleaned it up and then one of the staff provided me a wet paper towel to help me clean it up. I was so thankful and so grateful for their amazing and high quality service. Their seared salmon, spicy salmon, karrage (my partner had 6 plates, and it was perfect every time!) and jellyfish sushi was so delicious. The dessert creme brulee and matcha pudding with sago was so good as well!! I'm definitely coming back

Simply the best! The hotate (scallops) were so big and fresh. Uni (sea urchin) from Tasmania was on special and I swear it melted on my tongue. Every other dishes were very well delivered as well. The service staff and chefs were very nice and friendly. Wish I live in Perth and can come back here lots!

They have the all you can eat night on every Saturday night. A must if you are a sushi lover. Same with all the sushi train, you can’t always guarantee how good it is for those on the belt. But Jaws controls their quality pretty good. The all-you-can-eat just makes things better. However selections might seem like limited. They do have some specials like skewers served by staff walking around, which brings in some change every time. Overall, good place for hanging out with friends in various occasions. P.s. for all-you-can-eat, reservation is needed.

Always a fantastic place to get sushi. Staffs are nice, food is great price is reasonable. Always good place to go to have sushi

This place has survived for so long. The recipe? Well consistently good food and reasonable price with excellent customer service. Everything is yummy! I would go there any day!

Been there 2 nights in a row and going back next Saturday Need I say more. Actually I will I send all my clients from Bobridge Gym here to have healthy meals and they all love it too

Great food! This sushi train is a great place in the Hay street mall to grab a quick meal. It has a good mix of traditional and modern plates. If you come at peak lunch times there can be a bit of a wait but it's worth the queue.
Food_Glorious_Food
My favourite & (in my opinion) the original & best sushi train in Perth. Fresh, flavoursome & quality sushi dishes. Love stopping here for a quick feed when I'm in town. Torched salmon aburi sushi is the best. Great selection and they will happily make your order fresh while you wait if it’s not on the conveyor belt. Gets very popular at lunch so you may have to wait a while for a spot.
Ian
Good sushi and sashimi. Normally a wait time on weekends at lunch but not a big problem. Their teriyaki chicken is pretty nice too. Not big fan of the deep fried goods here tho.
Lakmonsta
This classic sushi train has been here as long as I remember, and for good reason. Clean and fast services, absolutely delicious morsels and lots of variety.
SweetPoison
Came here for lunch mid week. Plenty of seating. Lovely service. The sashimi was incredible. Well priced and in the entertainment book. They also had gluten free soy sauce which I was very grateful for. Worth a visit.
More Than Nourishment
Been going here for years. Always reliable fresh sushi with a range of dishes. It actually wasn’t as busy as I remember on our recent visit which was good as we a seat right away. Service was efficient. They are in the entertainment book too. No complaints here.

Perth has only a small variety of sushi trains hence maybe why prices for some items have increased (uni/sea urchin is now $12 for 3 pieces).

Went in for happy hour (3-6pm) where white, red and green plates are all 30% off and you get a complimentary miso soup.

Given that this sushi train is not a flat rate (same price for all dishes) but rather charged by different coloured plates, the quality should be quite good (the more expensive, the better the quality). The salmon at $5 was better quality than the raw prawn at $8.5. The prawn was not fresh with a soft crunchy texture but was dry and tough to chew apart.

The variety on rotation was ok but was very mindful of how much each plate costs (compared to other sushi trains that charge an average flat rate of $3.8 for all plates).

Never disappointed!!! I’ve loved this place for 15+ years and hope it’s around for a long time to come. Delicious food and great service....
Flora Secreat
It was fine for quick lunch. Sushi wasn’t that great compare with a good review in social. Tuna, quite fresh, but it very over price $12 for 5 pieces.

With honestly opinion, I will not come back here.
Authenticity
Average sushi chain store in the best location. The urchin nori had no taste even it was 12 bucks. Wasabi was grainy and powderly, so not recommend to use it. Some food were not cover and exposed to air. So-so service.
Thomas Chow
Pushed presented voucher on my entertainment book app then refused to give me the discount as I didn’t have the physical coupon. Had a big meal, got no discount, left with a bad taste in my mouth.
Casey
I always come here for the vegetarian udon noodles. It's the best! If you're craving sushi this place is also the go to! Karrage chicken sushi cones! Delicious!
Mocanu M
Sushi is very much about the rice. It was fresh and the taste was good. Happy hour makes it even tastier:))) 30% off the bill on red, white and yellow plates only, still a good bargain.
Kudokun
I LOVE coming to Jaws! I love the sushi: it is delicious, it is authentic, it is fresh and some are even made in front of your eyes! I love the variety: so many different type of sushi from the common to the uncommon ones. You can always pick the one you want from the sushi train or order the more uncommon one. I love the ambiance: the pack crowd, the tall chair around the train with the chefs making sushi in the middle, and the staffs shouting in japanese language to one and another. I love wacthing them burning the salmon or the fish using the bunsen burner. It is a whole lot of great dining experience.

The downside is the price of course - you can easily spend $30 for a quick lunch - is it worth it? Well, it's arguable. During busy hour, service is a bit poor. They literally had 1 staff for the whole row so you had to wait to get her attention and then wait again to get what you want. Place is always pack especialy during lunch hour - so you gotta come early especially if you come in large group and want to sit together side by side. If you love sushi train, Jaws is the place to go!

Very reasonably priced good sushi but if you're starving it adds up. Ahh.. Beware of the sushi train, eyes bigger than my stomach trap. Hahaha I've been there. Loooove how during peak hours you can ask for things to be freshly made but regardless I find everything I've had off the sushi train to be fresh.
Big Trev™
Sushi in Perth doesn't get any better than this. I come here every fortnight with the fam. Super fresh fish and other produce. Beef Tataki is also a standout. Lots of options and always 100%.
Alyssa
I have been a couple times, and it's always a good experience. Aside from it being convenient to go to as it is just a stone's throw away from home, it also serves reasonably priced sushi, sashimi and anything Japanese. While it is known for having a sushi train, you can also ask the chefs to make something for you off the menu. Only down side is the space is not as big.
Elsie C
My experience here was more a snatch and grab for lunch, a container of sushi and one teriyaki beef. Both were very tasty and very fresh, some of the better sushi I've had around Perth. I am more intrigued by the sushi train running in the background as I waited to pay. It looks super and this will take centre stage on my next visit here (and I will be back).
ChelseaR
Great location, lots of room to eat, nice sushi but I've been to many sushi train restaurants around the world and for Perth, it is pretty good. Not amazing but good
Justine
Always amazing!!! Never disappointed!! I have been coming here since I was a child and it is by far the best Japanese Restaurant going around!
Ems A Foodie
I love this Jaws sushi. The lovely lady at the counter always remembers me, even when I hadn't been in a whole year! (I had a baby and didn't come into the city).

The sushi is fresh and I love the spicy raw tuna. It's reasonably priced and I will keep coming back.
Dough Nut
Jaws is never empty. They cater for all takeaway appetites and wallet sizes, with everything from tiny trays of sushi to large chicken and rice dishes. It's good value. Where else can you buy a small salmon and rice tray for $6?
And then there's the sushi train. Be there early or wait on the side benches.
LittleGirlBigFood
This place is always jam packed and always good! Takeaway or sushi train it never disappoints. The sushi train is surprisingly gourmet I must say!
Kate Nickels
Another fast favourite lunch spot of mine. The quality is really high, I'm a big sashimi fan so this is important. The sushi is super fresh and there are some fun specials. And their cold soba noodles are almost as good as my partners.
Sybarite
I reckon this has the best variety of sushi of all the sushi trains I've been to. They have daily specials too eg reduced sushi in the afternoons. It can get quite busy/squishy at peak times and service drops at these times. I will be back.
Lee SJ
Great customer service
The sushi is good and the price is okay. Must try the mochi ice cream there - vanilla is my personal favourite.
Alex Spaceman
Jaws is an icon of Perth sushi and always well priced and reliable. The majority of the food is prepared in front of you and the staff are always willing to go above and beyond with a smile. Would always recommend :)
Cookiecrumble
I haven't been to jaws in years but we felt like going for a sushi train experience and they happened to be close by. The service was not that fantastic even though they greeted you at the door, the waitresses never come to offer water or tea. Even the sushi chefs weren't attentive and they appeared busy too so you felt bad for shouting out to order a side order. The sushi wasn't fresh on the train as the rice and meat was on the dry side. The teriyaki chicken that was made fresh was delicious though and had lots of sauce. I found the price wasn't quite worth the quantity of food. $3.80 is the lowest but that included 2 pieces of teriyaki chicken avo sushi roll. 12 dishes, to feed 5 people came close to $60. Sadly didn't feel full enough but didn't feel satisfied paying the prices.
THE ILLUSIVE FEMME
Great sushi on the go and I love a sushi train, it's so much fun. Fresh sushi rolls, staff are friendly. Definitely a go to if you want a healthier lunch option! Love the tea here too.
The Life Of A Designer
Since my first train sushi in Perth 8 years ago, Jaws has been maintain its quality well up to date!

The staffs are very efficient, yet friendly at the same time!
When you sat on the chair facing the sushi train, you'll be amazed with the sushi options and also view of the chefs preparing the sushi.
Jessyee
The first time I've ever had a sushi train meal in Perth. Not as impressive as the ones I've been to overseas but nonetheless I still enjoyed my experience here. Food were fresh, staff were friendly and efficient even though it can get quite busy..do expect to wait during peak lunch times. Prices were a little out of my comfort zone in terms of a plate for 2pcs of sushi. Once in a while is okay :)
Vegemicated
Really well run and authentic sushi train establishment. Food is tasty and fresh as they have a high turnover and is always getting freshly made. Staff are efficient and friendly including the sushi makers. Minimum vegan options but that is standard with Japanese food. Try and beat the lunch rush as it gets very busy. Just like all sushi train places it's never cheap if you eat as much as I do. The bill can quickly stack up. I would definitely recommend this place.
Izzy Alyce
First sushi train experience and it was a good one! Was happy with everything we ate, everything was fresh and tasty, can't complain really!
Zouzou
One of our regular spots for Saturday late lunch. Always good sushis and the staff are super sweet. The place is very often busy but even when there's a waiting line it always goes super quick.
JO
Very nice little sushi train, located conveniently in the CBD. There is always a wide variety of items on the train, all of which are fresh and well prepared. No complaints.
Peter Koong
A great spot whether you're eating alone or with a mate or two. The food served here caters to a wide range of people. They have a great sushi selection with all of the classic nigiri, maki and gunkan sushi, an appetising deep fried selection with dishes like takoyaki, karrage chicken and more.

I'm a regular here and they never disappoint. Always a wide selection of delicious sushi, attentive staff and you can eat to your wallet. A great place for a quick and very tasty Japanese lunch.

Jaws Sushi use to be my favourite due to the affordability and quality of the sushi. I wasn't impressed when once again they decided to raise prices of select sushi. Have a look at the menu and see the labels overlaying the original prices. C'mon "chopped eel sushi" or eel nigiri at $5.80 and $6.40 respectively? It's not gold plate or 5-star dishes to charge that for a pair of finger sized sushi when the machine makes it for you. You've got to be joking right? This is absurd when you compare Matsuri or even Taka's Sushi. Jaws you've now officially outpriced yourself from my market.
Hungryhenry
Good and easy sushi. Have been here a few times and have no complaints. Visited yesterday lunch time, service was quick, food came out within minutes and sushi train full of good choice. Everything we eat was well flavoured with my personal favourite crab balls didn't disappoint.
Qts
Awesome. Been to the all you can eat on Saturday night about 3 times now. Expect to wait a while if you don't turn up when it opens. It is definitely worth the wait as the food is fresh and yummy. The service is great and the lady at the counter is really nice and polite.

Good food, awful staff!. A fair few years ago, I ate here with my husband and a Japanese friend (who looks Korean). In the middle of our meal, my friend got up and said we were leaving. When I asked why, she said the staff were talking to each other in Japanese (shouting across the restaurant and laughing hard, was all I could understand) about how fat my husband and I were and that we probably smelt very bad and would eat half the restaurant. As we left, I stopped to tell one of the waitresses that I knew what they'd said and they should be ashamed of themselves. When I contacted the owners, I received no reply and no apology. What little of the food I had made it through before we left, was nice.
FoodieKitten
Consistently good & tasty!. It has been my regular lunch out spot with colleagues and friends. They are always busy and you might see a queue lining up till the entrance but their tunover is fast! Although there are 3 Jaws sushi train around the town, each of them actually have a few of their own special dishes. As for this branch, they have one of my absolute favourites which is the Salmon Skin Rolls. They do serve other specials like deep fried salmon wings, mochi ice cream, eclairs, deep fried baby octopus, agedashi tofu, etc. I can absolutely eat here everyday!
Macca
Overpriced but very tasty. Food is delicious but the prices are over the top . you can get half the price if you get takeaway
Dominique Livingston
Really good food in a fun environment. Went for lunch yesterday (sunday). It was busy when we arrived and we had to wait in a queue. However the staff were very friendly and efficient and seated us quickly. Big relief as our five year old was hungry!
We thought the food was fabulous. The fish was super fresh and the cooked food was delicious. I am confused by the bad reviews but I guess all places sometimes have an off day. As far as price we thought it was really good value!
The tuna we had and the gyoza were the highlights for me and my husband enjoyed the jellyfish wrap and the barbecued eel. Chicken teriyaki was pretty delicious too! This will be a regular haunt for us from now on.
Food_Whisperer
Very good!. I absolutely adore this place! I have been going here for years and it never gets old! The sushi is always top notch and its not too expensive. The staff are always friendly and are very attentive which is great! So the only down side would be the seating and the way the food is served. It is always packed, so the wait can be long at times. Also it is difficult to seat large group of people. So its only beneficial for groups of 2-3. Another down fall would be the way the food is served. Although it is very efficient, it has some negative aspects as well. The hot fried foods, are usually warm- cold when i reach it. Also there are times where im worried about how long the food has been on the conveyer belt. If you are really picky about that, then you can outright order it from the chef, which doesnt take long at all. Other than this and the seating difficulty, it is still very good! Definitely recommend this place for a very good service and great food!

Sub average. Go to east perth or equs jaws, much fresher
C
Best Udon. They have the best udon in the town, very flavoured udon!!
Kyle
Always fresh always tasty and friendly staff even in peak lunch hour no one is trying to push you out the door to get the next customer in. fantastic
La-Rachelle
GREAT PLACE! WORTH IT :). This place is often busy and sometimes the wait at the front is too long to bare. In saying that however the food once you sit down is fantastic. The chefs always have a vast variety of dish's and manage to keep this up even with the huge amount of mouths to feed. The service is great with the girls appearing at your seats instantly when meals are finished and you require the bill. The green tea is tasty and i'm always wanting more. The only problems i've ever had here was an order for sashimi was once forgotten, and the deep fryer was once broken. They did however make sure we were aware of this before we sat down, but the cold dish's are so good we didn't mind.
This place also accepts GOLD ENTERTAINMENT VOUCHER so a further discount on the already cheap prices is great!!

Jaws Reinvention RIPOFF. Jaws Sushi has been the cornerstone of affordable quality sushi for many years, a place frequented by many of my friends and colleagues until now. Sadly it has lost it's appeal with the recent reinvention (or rather hefty cost hikes) that can only best be described as a shameful and greedy grab for cash. Suddenly, many past affordable dishes have risen by over 45% (e.g. Yellow Plate crab stick roe sushi 3.20 to $4.50 & Red Plate Chopped eel sushi from $3.80 to $5.50) and replaced by a newer more expensive pricing scheme. Even the venue's sly mentality of flooding the conveyor belt with higher priced dishes (greater than $4.50) limiting the customers choice is disappointing. In future we shall happily visit Taka Japanese Cuisine in Shafto Lane.
Putri Peach Adeltoong
Great food, abit over priced but worth the money, good service, abit cramped though. Have been here heaps and am always satisfied with the food.
Rosso
Along with Toraya in Subiaco ( ex-Jaws), best sushi in Perth. I've been a regular for 12 years!
FullStop Yum Yum
Always busy, the staff are very attentive, food is fresh and always good... love this place. you never have to wait long.
B-Mama
One of the more authentic Japanese experiences.
Lone Ranger
Always a delight to visit this place. The greeting is unique n welcoming, staff smiles n helpfful n even speaks English which is unusual in such places. The chef is actually authentic japanese n so r waitress. Its standards of hygiene is great n respectable per council rules, food is impressively presented n very fresh. Best sushi train restaurant in WA n I would never go anywhere else, one of my favourite restaurants n I visit weekly. I would give it 6 stars!!!
Contessa.Eats
The range of sushi on offer was boring and uninspiring. Deep fried pre-packaged battered prawns, calamari rings and crab claws were also on offer - what a disgrace that a Japanese restaurant would serve this up!
Bubblicious
Good lunch venue. Nice- layout is a bit awkward due to little to no space and I think the menu here is a bit more limited than the East Perth equivalent, there seems to be far less variety on the sushi train. Still a nice location for a quick lunch.
Mztiff
Consistently good sushi. Lots of variety and consistently good. There's usually a wait come peak hour lunch/dinner but the staff are friendly, the tea is unlimited and it satisfies my sushi cravings.
Lauren
If this is the highest rated sushi place in Perth, people here have obviously never tried good sushi. The menu is boring and servings are small for the prices. Im not sure why people cue up for this place?
Captain Munchie
Choo Choo Train. Best Sushi Train in Perth with extremely efficient and helpful staff. I have eaten there many times and only have been dissapointed once with the Battered Chicken as it was quite fatty. Apart from that minor incident every other dish is done to perfection. I enjoy the fact you can watch the chef make the meals infront of you as its entertaining to watch and also shows the effort that goes into making it. The atmosphere at Lunch time during week days is hustle bustle and would not recommend going with more than 2 people as it would be a struggle to all sit together. The Mitsu Soup & Fresh Tuna on rice are hghlights. Jaws is the goods. Until next time ... 7/10
Nate
Week day lunch. Love the food, busy during lunch but you get served quite quickly for the amount of people. Food very nice. Try to marinated and deep fried prawns! Great texture and flavor. For an interesting one, try the marinated and BBQ eel, interesting taste! Thanks babe for taking me!
Kim Collins
Fun but expensive!. Loved the food and the fun of having it move around in front of you. Just surprised at the costs...not a cheap option....be very wary of the plates stacking up!
Lolly Lettuce
Happy hour fun. Friday July 6 3pm-5pm

Love the happy hour(s) discount
Love the sushi train.. see before having it is awesome... (although it would be good if it was a tad faster)
Chefs make the food in front of you which is fun to watch
A different super fun experience to the normal restaurants
Great that they have pre packed sushi for take out options
It can get expensive, so be mindful of which coloured plate you are taking :)
A Patisserie In Paris
Consistently good.. It's always a good visit, no it's not gourmet Japanese, and I wouldn't say the seafood is fresh, but it's always fast, efficient and has a good variety of choices on offer.

The chicken karage and seared sushi never fails to disappoint! When you order the fried dishes, it comes out hot and fresh, chefs pay attention to ensure hot food never stays too long on the belt and the hot sauce that comes with the chicken is ahhh-maaa-zing! I could seriously smear that stuff on everything I eat.
Wei Onn Yew
The seaweed sushi was the worst i ever had first bite was so repulsive was like eating fish guts . Yet it was pricey ... And the eel sushi had so much small bones .
RJ
I'm going to need a bigger boat. Jaws is awesome. Great staff, great food. Always fresh and hot! Try the calamari rings with the chili mayo and the spicy battered prawns. Good clean fun!
KT
Best sushi in Perth!!. My husband and I travel into the city fairly often for Jaws. It is the best sushi that we have found in Perth so far!! Staff are always so lovely and friendly too and even when there is a long queue, it moves really quickly!! Worth the wait!!
Cheryl Edwards
Best sushi train in Perth ...consistently fresh , friendly and busy!! ..I make it at least a weekly visit!
Jessica
Never had a crappy meal from here, always busy and I love how you can see the chef make the sushi fresh!
Tom
High Quality, Great Variety, Low Price. Dependable sushi which has a far greater variety then the other Japanese places in Perth. Happy hour is a bargain.
Annika Godwin
Always a winner!. Even though there has been a slight change at Jaws over the past couple of years (different crowd, new staff), the sushi is still just as good. I visited twice in one week on two very very busy days (boxing day & new years public holiday) and had a bit of a wait (10-15 mins) for a table, but still enjoyed the experience. I will continue to come back to Jaws as their food is always satisfying.
Amy
Ride the Sushi Train. I am a huge sushi train fan, which may make me biased as there aren't many of these babies in Perth.

I love it here, never mind waiting for a table and am just as happy to buy the Ngiri set to take away, which is always fresh, tasty and filling.

The lady that manages it is so friendly that I want to smuggle her out in my bag. She recognises regulars old and new - rushing over to discount my bill even though I hadn't set foot in the door in 2 months.

The train could probably do with more variety, but I still don't really tire of the selection before I'm full.

The beef tataki is by far the highlight for me - just delicious. The veggie tempura is also very good.

Prices can stack up, but I'm usually comparing it to all-you-can-eat places in London, the States etc...my boyfriend and I usually average out at $60-70 between us, and waddle out of there like over-stuffed ducks. Not bad for a fun and informal dinner out, really.

Happy hour is also a winner.
Fenty Dermawan
Freshest sushi in town. My husband and I always go to Jaws every weekend. All i can say is their food is amazing and freshly prepared. I love the way they prepare the food right in front of you. It is kinda interesting. I love so many things from the menu, but chicken udon is highly recommended especially in winter. Although they can be a bit pricey, they are worth the money
BPFood
JAWS!. Always crowded during lunch and dinner time.
The food is better than most japanese sushi places in Perth.
Gemma P
Ugh. Terrible service, went there for lunch, they overcharged me by accident (more than the menu said), then they served me the wrong drink, then after alerting them to this they said they couldn't replace the drink because i had tasted it...
wtf??

TERRIBLE.
Beauty And The Beast
Could be so much better. Highlights
- the whole sushi train thing is just a whole lot of fun
- the variety was extensive with a good mix of cooked & uncooked; with & without rice dishes
- the portion sizes were perfect to allow you to try a good spread
- very cheap japanese tea with free refills
- the tataki (raw beef), una tama (eel omlette) & kaiso (seaweed)
- the occassional "surprise dishes" that came out randomly to break up the "staple" dishes
- the friendly service which hovered around & promptly assisted wtih any "out of the normal" needs
- the bench lined with all your "normal" needs (soy sauce, wasabi, bowls, chopsticks, toothpicks, serviettes etc)
- there is no waiting around for your food
- a very reasonable bill at the end
Lowlights
- everthing that was cooked
- raw fish wasn't the freshest/tastiest
- lack of fish without rice dishes
- lack of vegetarian dishes
- the food was quite average in quality in general
- seeing dishes that you begin identifying as being on their umpteen lap & wondering how long what you just ate had been circling around for
- missing out on the surprise dishes (although you could order them but its not the same) because you are not on the start of the train
- very dated and well worn decor
- inability to purchase beer &, while BYO, where's the bottle shop?
Comment
- Unfortunately did not live up to the standard of those in Sydney
Ambience: Beauty (3.5) the Beast (2.5)
Service: Beauty (3) the Beast (4)
Food: Beauty (3) the Beast (2)
Value: Beauty (3) the Beast (3.5)

First time back to Jaws in about 2 years, and it was just as good as I remembered it. Great value, fresh, and fun place to eat. This will definitely go back into my high rotation lunch cycle.
Pris
So - so and not such good value. I find the food edible and I come here time and time again out of convenience of being in the city.

The service is fine and the food is fresh but I always chalk up to average of 30$ for myself even when I hardly eat much. I get satisfied all the way till I take out my credit card, realizing I could have had a 5 star meal elsewhere instead...

Ambience makes you feel as though its a cheap fast food joint which is a lie. Food not bad but pricey.
Indigestion Kid
Fresh is Best. My wife and I have eaten at a few Sushi trains around Perth metro area. I guess the thing that stood out most to us with Jaws in the city was the good service and the freshness of the sushi. Some sushi places we have been to we have found the sushi to be a little stale. It is perhaps a little more expensive than some other sushi trains around the fringes but what do you expect when they are on the main pedestrian mall in the city of Perth. Thumbs up!
Joel C
Great food, pricey if you aren't careful. I really like it here I must of been more then 20 times the sushi is the best I have had in Perth they have a great range and the every time I go back they have new dishes. The staff are always very friendly and the service top notch.

If you aren't careful you can really rack up the bill quite quickly if you eat a lot of the expensive plates. We manage to get out of there for about 60 to 70 dollars most times though. I really like their chicken udon noodle soup that is always a great finish to the meal and very filling as well.
Spoonmaster
I haven't eaten off the train but it's always a popular place, sushi that I've had from there is pretty good.
POPbubble
Worth The Wait. Be patient and sit out the wait for a seat at the sushi train. Complement your faves with a cup of green tea for $0.60, with free refills!
Peter
Sushi is really good. Some of the cheaper ones aren't bad. Be aware, if you are hungry you might end up spending upwards of $50 here!!!
Hgreen
Nice sushi. This place has good quality sushi on a sushi train, and I've been here a few times. I was intrigued by their buffet "all you can eat" sushi idea, which costs $25 or so, and have tried it once. You get 45 minutes to fill your face with as much sushi as you can... the rule being if you leave anything on your sushi plates you have to pay the full price for those plates. The choice is a bit more limited when the buffet is on - and it tends to consist of more rice than normal, possibly to fill you up quicker. I was amazed by the thin Japanese guys sitting opposite, who proceeded to eat at 3 times the speed of me and got though about 15 plates of sushi each in the 45 minutes. You feel like you're in an eating competition here, but its great if you're very hungry and think you can get through more than $25 worth of sushi...!!!
Cintia
Nice but definitely not cheap!!!

Great sushi & udon noodles.

Love sushi but be prepared to spend at this place! Some sushi plates with only 2 piece on it can cost $5!
Queen Of Bad Timing
Sushi train is fun. Let's be honest, there's something really entertaining and elating about watching food prepared fresh in front of you and placed on a conveyor (much like luggage at the airport) for you to choose and devour accordingly. Jaws Kaiten Sushi in the heart of the Perth shopping streets has sushi train down to a fine art. They boast a selection of diverse and delicious dishes, chefs that make to order, and colour coded plates for ease of payment upon your exit. The Sashimi Salmon ($5.80) is one dish I order as soon as Jeremy and I are seated on this busy Sunday. The fish is fresh and cool to the palate; the texture buttery soft. I love sashimi so much, I could stay here and eat this one after the other. Salmon sashimi The Vegetable Tempura ($3.90) is two pieces of crunchy vegetables covered in a light tempura batter.
