My favourite & (in my opinion) the original & best sushi train in Perth. Fresh, flavoursome & quality sushi dishes. Love stopping here for a quick feed when I'm in town. Torched salmon aburi sushi is the best. Great selection and they will happily make your order fresh while you wait if it’s not on the conveyor belt. Gets very popular at lunch so you may have to wait a while for a spot.
Good sushi and sashimi. Normally a wait time on weekends at lunch but not a big problem. Their teriyaki chicken is pretty nice too. Not big fan of the deep fried goods here tho.
This classic sushi train has been here as long as I remember, and for good reason. Clean and fast services, absolutely delicious morsels and lots of variety.
Came here for lunch mid week. Plenty of seating. Lovely service. The sashimi was incredible. Well priced and in the entertainment book. They also had gluten free soy sauce which I was very grateful for. Worth a visit.
Been going here for years. Always reliable fresh sushi with a range of dishes. It actually wasn’t as busy as I remember on our recent visit which was good as we a seat right away. Service was efficient. They are in the entertainment book too. No complaints here.
Never disappointed!!! I’ve loved this place for 15+ years and hope it’s around for a long time to come. Delicious food and great service....
I always come here for the vegetarian udon noodles. It's the best! If you're craving sushi this place is also the go to! Karrage chicken sushi cones! Delicious!
Sushi is very much about the rice. It was fresh and the taste was good. Happy hour makes it even tastier:))) 30% off the bill on red, white and yellow plates only, still a good bargain.
I LOVE coming to Jaws! I love the sushi: it is delicious, it is authentic, it is fresh and some are even made in front of your eyes! I love the variety: so many different type of sushi from the common to the uncommon ones. You can always pick the one you want from the sushi train or order the more uncommon one. I love the ambiance: the pack crowd, the tall chair around the train with the chefs making sushi in the middle, and the staffs shouting in japanese language to one and another. I love wacthing them burning the salmon or the fish using the bunsen burner. It is a whole lot of great dining experience.
The downside is the price of course - you can easily spend $30 for a quick lunch - is it worth it? Well, it's arguable. During busy hour, service is a bit poor. They literally had 1 staff for the whole row so you had to wait to get her attention and then wait again to get what you want. Place is always pack especialy during lunch hour - so you gotta come early especially if you come in large group and want to sit together side by side. If you love sushi train, Jaws is the place to go!
Very reasonably priced good sushi but if you're starving it adds up. Ahh.. Beware of the sushi train, eyes bigger than my stomach trap. Hahaha I've been there. Loooove how during peak hours you can ask for things to be freshly made but regardless I find everything I've had off the sushi train to be fresh.
Our go to place for sushi. Been here for many years. Always delivers and the restaurant atmosphere is always pleasant. Their sushi has the best flavours and they are fresh. One of my favourites from here is their Una Tama (Bbq eel omelette). Service is always quick even for ala carte order that you cant find from their sushi train.
I ate here last night and it was so delicious. Earlier in the night, I was clumsy and accidentally tipped one of the karrage chicken off the rail and into my sleeve and the chef were so kind about it, he cleaned it up and then one of the staff provided me a wet paper towel to help me clean it up. I was so thankful and so grateful for their amazing and high quality service. Their seared salmon, spicy salmon, karrage (my partner had 6 plates, and it was perfect every time!) and jellyfish sushi was so delicious. The dessert creme brulee and matcha pudding with sago was so good as well!! I'm definitely coming back
Simply the best! The hotate (scallops) were so big and fresh. Uni (sea urchin) from Tasmania was on special and I swear it melted on my tongue. Every other dishes were very well delivered as well. The service staff and chefs were very nice and friendly. Wish I live in Perth and can come back here lots!
They have the all you can eat night on every Saturday night. A must if you are a sushi lover. Same with all the sushi train, you can’t always guarantee how good it is for those on the belt. But Jaws controls their quality pretty good. The all-you-can-eat just makes things better. However selections might seem like limited. They do have some specials like skewers served by staff walking around, which brings in some change every time. Overall, good place for hanging out with friends in various occasions. P.s. for all-you-can-eat, reservation is needed.
Always a fantastic place to get sushi. Staffs are nice, food is great price is reasonable. Always good place to go to have sushi
This place has survived for so long. The recipe? Well consistently good food and reasonable price with excellent customer service. Everything is yummy! I would go there any day!
Been there 2 nights in a row and going back next Saturday
Need I say more.
Actually I will I send all my clients from Bobridge Gym here to have healthy meals and they all love it too
Great food! This sushi train is a great place in the Hay street mall to grab a quick meal. It has a good mix of traditional and modern plates. If you come at peak lunch times there can be a bit of a wait but it's worth the queue.
