Cute and funky cafe with an outdoor area that's nice to enjoy on a good weather day. Quite an interesting variety of food that changes daily. Great for a bite at lunch.
Nice coffee, lovely design and spacious. Bought a Top doughnut to go with the coffee but it tasted dense and dry, not as fluffy as I had before. Unsure if it has been left overnight....
Uncle Joe's Mess Hall breaks all the rules on King Street, known for its high end exclusive shopping boutiques. Great Rnb music in a casual low light setting. Superb long black coffee. Went for the simple eggs on toast and really enjoyed the gooey egg yolk.Great joint, we'll be back!
Such a hipster joint but is cute and its cool. Coffee is good and the smoothies are great too, my favourite is the Bananarama 🍌. Love their breakfast bagels, it looks appealing and a solid hunger buster. Its a funky place to grab a coffee from every now and again.
Cute, fresh and tucked away. Quite good coffee from this place. No fancy lunch dishes but a great place to be for a quick bite. The decor is especially fun, next door to a barber shop through glass windows, which has made this place very retro.

Ate: Wagyu burger and lamb koftas
Drank: Coke (in a glass!)
Food: Wagyu burger was definitely appreciated, well cooked and it was med rare inside. Simple and yum. Lamb koftas - the first one they've sold was yummy, middle eastern flavour but prob could've had some bread instead of the tortilla chips but still tasty!
Ambience: pretty relaxed setting with an inside courtyard, though some of the leaves almost fell in the food but the fans help the place keep cool.
Service: service was great, they even sold us the burger before 12 :)
Price: $22 burger and fries, $12 koftas
Overall: I'd visit again and try some of the other stuff. Maybe even the cakes and desserts!
Really enjoyed the acai smoothie bowl from here, very refreshing and fresh tasting. Good coffee too. The place itself is quite interesting, decorated in an industrial style with a long ramp at the end of which you can hang your bike from the wall. You also get a glimpse of the barbers!
Wonderful atmosphere with very lively and friendly staff. The coffee was very smooth and enriched with flavor. The food was pleasing to the palette. No complaints, it was an overall lovely breakfast
Great little hidden away cafe on King St at the Wellington St end.
The staff are excellent and it’s got a kind of vintage style going on with a very nice vibe.
You should check it out.

P.S. I forgot to add: Try the Avocado Smash with peas for breakfast. Pretty....pretty, pretty good!

Just got off a cruise and was desperate for a good coffee. Uncle Joe didn’t let me down. My coffee was delicious.
