This place is amazing - not only do you get a view but you get the best dim sum in Perth and friendly service. Definitely tops the list and we will be back for more on a regular basis. Thank you to Tim for taking the time out to chat to us and deliver the desserts my niece was interested in when looking through the kitchen window at the chefs cooking area. � highly recommended!

My best friends and best food make up my best birthday celebration at 8! Well cooked Chinese authentic food in great presentation! My plates even got replaced with new plates after every dish! At the end, I was surprised with a birthday dessert with a warm hearted card from the boss n all waiters at the night! Definitely go back!

Fast service. Hot dim sum and lovely desserts. Bustling and busy place with waitresses & waiters rushing around. Need to come early as no bookings allowed. Have to queue. Enjoyed the dim sum. Companionship with hot tea. And hustle and bustle!

Prices are on the rather side high just for dim sum. Food presentation was nice and service was not bad as place was not too crowded. Family friendly with high chairs. Portions are decent too.

This place is AMAZING 😍. We went last weekend and were blown away by the incredible service and fabulous food! We started with special fried rice and spring rolls. Both were so good! Then we got Szechwan steak and ginger chicken. My favorite was definitely the steak. So tender and tasty! The servers were so friendly and attentive. I can’t recommend 8 on the Point highly enough. Looking forward to going back for yum cha!!

We went there for dim sum for lunch on weekend. It is busy. We have to wait for an hour to get a table. The parking there is expansive too. Food is good. Service is alright.

Great food n service, underrated by others, surprisingly. Reasonably priced with great views.
Larva buns are unbeatable n large variety of desserts.

Came here with my friend as he suggested to try. First impression is the view and atmosphere is just stunning. Then we sat down and ordered some light food to eat and chit chat. Even we didn’t order pricey food like crab but their service is so friendly and attentive. For the food, the taste is just simply awesome!! Will definitely come back again to try their seafood next time

I’m somewhat surprised by the low rating that 8 On The Point scored on Zomato. Finally tried out this place after recommendations from a couple of friends. Their dim sum would probably rate as one of the bests in Perth. Be sure to make a reservation on the weekend because they do start to fill up rapidly mid-morning.
