Stumbled upon this place while I was searching for a well-priced Irish restaurant. After looking at their menu and seeing they do a full Irish breakfast until 3pm (a meal which my partner loves) I decided we had to go! Adorable open set up, super friendly redheaded lady working the bar. My partner got the full Irish breakfast and I got the veggie brekkie. I had read the meal sizes were huge and they are! Neither of us finished our plates! My partner compliment the black pudding saying it wasn't as strong as others he has had. My toast was still warm when it hit our table, which I feel is always impressive. My mushrooms looked a bit dry but once I tucked into them, they were still very juicy. We will absolutely be going here again!
It was what it was, and it was good.
Irish pub. Simple.
Bonus was the decent espresso martini, however the mojito was mostly from the post mix tap.
Still, the pint was grand.
We ordered from the brunch menu at 2:15pm. I considered the waffles with bacon and maple syrup. But hey, breakfast is not constricted by time.
Settled on the grilled chicken burger with salad, slaw and chips. Chicken was well seasoned and well cooked.
The chips were excellent.
As nice as my dish was, I needn't have ordered it. Why? Because DoubleKickChick ordered the Mexican Irishman. Or the Irish Mexican. Whatever.
It was narchoss. Beef. Taco style. Onions tomato and guac. It was fresh af Hahahahhahaha. Fresh. AF.
Oh and they've got booths. Love a good booth.
It was a bloody good Irish joint. Really likes it and I'll put in effort to return.
Lo
The Cure is a typical looking Irish bar with great food.
Portion size is huge, I ordered the Taco Chips, they were so tasty and I wish I could have finished them. Ms. D ordered the Chicken Curry, an equally big dish. The curry sauce was to die for and Ms. D left full and content.
We were two happy ladies leaving.
