Review Nobu - Perth

Yen
Absolutely blown away by this unforgettable experience. The waitress we had was so friendly and knowledgeable, she recommended incredible dishes. The seat we had was comfortable with a great view of the pools. The most incredible dishes were the sashimi wrapped around nashi pear, the seared scallop in jalepeno sauce, miso cod, soft shell crabs with watermelon, the octopus, Benton box dessert fondant cake with green tea icecream. Definitely worth the wait/hype. Ps Book a month in advance at least.

Brilliant experience. Like a friend said, “you don’t pay just for the food, you pay for the experience”. The staff is great. Could have literally awarded 5+ if that was an option. Ask for Dave the bartender if he’s available. Great expertise.

The service was excellent, the waitresses were friendly, no doubt. However the food is really very mediocre at best. Imagine waiting for quite some days for your reservation, and got served with food that is of bare minimum standards with a high price point. Not sure what the hype is about. Some reviewers said they had the best Japanese food here in Nobu, obviously did not order what the Japanese would have eaten or never been to Japan. The food are not prepared with love or heart, just trying to serve them up as fast as possible in a plastic bento box. This is not what Japanese food is about. The sushi we had, the rice are barely holding together when you pick them up with chopsticks. Just disappointed.

Best service that I can remember in a long time, food very good besides the salt and pepper squid which was a disappointment, I rather Silks salt and pepper squid with chili. Overall a lovely experience and shows how important good service is and how so many restaurants lack it. Great memories made thanks Nobu team x

Lovely atmosphere and very friendly staff. Our waiter gave advice on different pairings of mains and even advised us against one of sides we chose with our mains. Food was delicious and freshly made. Huge variety of sushi/sashimi and seafood. Wagyu steak options for those less into seafood.

It’s been a couple of years since I’ve dined at Nobu and Lunch today was extremely disappointing. The food, for the most part, felt like it came out of the kitchen of an overpriced chain restaurant. Classic dishes were disappointing, like the Wagu Tacos (cold meat, plated cheaply) could have come from a backyard Japanese suburban restaurant whereas they used to be a treat when they were served hot and crisp. The Tempura Prawns (heavily fried, soggy batter, and drowned in mayo on a cheap bed of rocket) used to be my absolute favourite but they were an extremely substandard example of the delightful dish they once were. That dish would be at home in the Uber Eats bag from your local Japanese restaurant. Even the plates were not at the standard for the price of the food - white plates had scratches and marks on them and were very old which made the food appear unappealing. The wait staff were amazing - friendly and prompt with service. Cocktails were beautiful and delicious. If you do go, get the Miso pork belly and Jalapeño sashimi. Those two dishes were tasty and up to the expected Nobu standard. In summary, I’ve had many happy meals at Nobu over the years but Nobu hasn’t kept up with the standard of restaurants in Perth, or their own standard for food. Unfortunately this will probably be my last time here because there’s so many other restaurants which can offer a better food experience for the price.

Brilliant experience, the dishes were amazing, my favourite would have to be Robert DeNiro’s favourite dish which was the Miso Black Cod, it just melts in your mouth. The service staff were attentive and helpful throughout the evening. Booking needs to be done well in advance (we booked 6 weeks).

Booked dinner for a special occasion, it was actually a wonderful and very special experience. The food and flavours were of course all delicious, but we felt the price tag was justified by the overall experience created by exceptional service, and lots of little touches: - Our waiter Ken was so personable and chill and always had a little chuckle, even wearing a mask you could tell he spoke with a smile. - Our dishes arrived one by one with the most perfect timing in between. - Some of our chosen items ended having similar flavours, but Nobu had rearranged their order of arrival between other dishes so that everything tasted new and exciting. - Our water glasses were constantly refilled, and we noticed staff constantly roving the floor keeping an eye on tables, but staff never felt intrusive. - We only realised this much later, but our waiter was somehow able to tell that everything we ordered was for sharing (without us mentioning it or him asking to confirm), and quietly set out sharing plates for the whole table and dishes were placed in the centre. - Dessert with the birthday candle on it was placed in front of the birthday person by a different waitress with confidence (I was impressed they have a system that doesn't involve re-confirming with the guests) - The soy sauce was tastier than usual :) Overall we spent 3 hours dining and it felt like time just flew by. As a bonus we were seated facing the pool, and at night time it was nicely lit up in a relaxing glow. Some food that we might not order again next time: - Sashimi: Actually $8 for one normal sized scallop cut in half - Ceviche: Was a bit too sour and wasn't as satisfying/delicious as other dishes - Pork Belly: My friends did love this one and it was extremely melty (we think it was sous vide), but they didn't get rid of the "smelly" pork scent. Everything else was absolutely delicious. I would definitely recommend Nobu for a special occasion. We spent $300 inc 2 drinks and 2 desserts between 3 people, and we were completely full and couldn't eat any more food. While you might get just as tasty food for a lower price at a couple other places in Perth, the overall experience would make me come back :)

One of those places you can expect to have great food but also spend alot. I came here for my birthday and the service and ambience was excellent. 3 set Tepanyaki experience was one to remember thank you.
Matt
Hands down one of my favorite restaurants in Perth for a special occasion. All of the food here is amazing and would definitely recommend trying the teppanyaki.

Nobu in Perth is one of two branches in Australia (the other one is in Melbourne), a cool sophisticated restaurant located in the Crown Casino complex at Burswood. Sleek and stylish it is similar to other Nobu branches around the world, and this one has the advantage of overlooking the hotel pool, and has an interesting ceiling centrepiece of glass coloured baubles.

My favourite Japanese in Perth! Don’t even know how many times we have been. It’s so so good. Great food and great service.

Had a super fun evening at Nobu at the Teppanyaki table! We shared the table with a lovely family who were just as excited to be there. My partner and I ordered the mid-range menu and loved every second of it. Our chef was super nice and knew how to entertain the table, and cooked all the food to perfection. My favourite dishes would have to be the lobster and wagyu, the seasoning was incredible. Also, the miso cappuccino dessert was amazing, so much better than I had anticipated. Although it’s pricey, you’re paying for amazing service and food. I would definitely come again!

Great food and service, highly recommended for celebration
Queen Of Food
Had dinner here with my fiancé the other night. To start we had the sea salt edamame, followed by tuna, salmon and snapper sashimi. The sashimi while lovely and fresh, was cut too thick. We then had the kingfish sashimi with jalapeño - this is always a favourite of ours. For main we shared the tooth fish which was served with mushrooms and Bok Choy and oven baked - the fish was so soft and the sauce was incredibly balanced. We then finished our dinner off with the chicken. All in all a good meal, this place had good service which was refreshing given our previous dining experiences in Perth.

We spent Saturday night dinner at Nobu. It was busy and noisy and the staff were very attentive, and informative. The food was fine, nothing special... the tuna sashimi stood out but other than that nothing made much of an impact, even the miso cod was nothing special... Nice restaurant and really great staff but for the price I’d give it a miss.

Left Nobu last night more disappointed than watching the Eagles lose to Collingwood. We invited 6 friends to come along to the Teppanyaki to celebrate my wifes birthday. We had previously been to Nobu years ago multiple times prior to having kids and loved it. Last night just left disappointed. There was more interaction between us and the door mat than the chef. He was a mute. We went there for entertainment and good food, we got ok food that was plonked up on the shelf in front of us. There was absolutely no spark to the meal, no hello from the chef, no jokes, very little fire sessions and as for doing tricks with salt and pepper shakers, throwing the spatulas/knives food around to get the attention of his guests there was too little too late only after I asked him to try and liven up the night. I think he needs to go back to school. At the end of the night, the left over fried rice was not even offered to top us up after a few of our plates had been emptied, it must have been sneaked out back to serve another table <br/><br/>After the chef had completed cooking all the staff deserted our table, as for more drinks while we talked we had to walk around the restaurant and find service. When it came to paying the bill we should have just walked out instead of walking around to find who was going to deliver the bill <br/><br/>I spoke to the manager on duty and the waiter for our area and they could not agree more that the entertainment was a letdown. Any how this is my first ever review, I feel bad after inviting my friends to come waste their money. Don't bother going there for an entertaining meal, there's plenty better options in Perth

Amazing food, great service. Definitely a place you need to go to at least once and enjoy a very fine dining meal. The dessert was amazing and like nothing I've ever had.
Steve Doherty
This was a fantastic meal over-all, which I expected given Nobu's reputation. I must say I'm a little conflicted as some of the dishes we had didn't quite hit the mark of excellence we expected from a restaurant of this calibre (and price point).<br/><br/>The much-vaunted miso cod really didn't work for me. I thought the fish was perfectly cooked but the miso simply didn't come through. Also, maybe I'm a purist, but the jalapeno sashimi combo felt like a gimmick and really didn't work. <br/><br/>The sushi we had was up there with some of the best I've ever had, and the cauliflower dish my sister ordered almost converted me to Vegetarianism - it was life-changing. <br/><br/>In short, I'd go back, but I'd stick to a pure Japanese experience. Order from the sushi bar, along with items like Beef Tataki and Miso soup. I'm sure then I'd get the mind-blowing experience I was expecting.

I have visited a few of the Nobu restaurants such as Nobu in Vegas, San Diego and my local favourite Nobu Perth which is located in the Crown Casino complex, Burswood.<br/><br/>Its highly recommended to book a table at Nobu as they get booked out almost every day. On this particular occasion, we did not book a table at Nobu and just went in spare of the moment, so the hostess sat us down at the sushi bar, which was ok as we could watch the Itamae at work and watch the atmosphere.<br/><br/>An Itamae is a cook, chef) is a cook in a Japanese kitchen or a chef of a large restaurant (especially of high-end Japanese cuisine). The term can be translated literally as "in front of the board," referring to a cutting board.<br/><br/>I Personally love Nobu, it is always my top pick of places to go to if asked to choose a restaurant to dine out at. <br/><br/>What I love about Nobu is that you can order as many or as little dishes as you want. And they come out almost like a tapas, so you can eat slowly and enjoy every individual dish.<br/>Our bill for the two of us came to around $90 (I even had a glass of wine....of course!) which was really good I thought as we walked away full and the night before we went for a buffet meal at Epicurean also at Crown casino which was $80pp / $160 where you stuff yourself to get your moneys worth and end up feeling really shitty for the rest of the evening. So $90 was pretty cheap considering we had top quality food and walked away full but not over the top.<br/><br/>Not only was I craving sushi, but I also was craving the "Nasu Miso" - a miso eggplant dish which is just out of this world! I always order this and even my Omni partner loves this dish. You must try this if you ever visit Nobu!! <br/><br/>NASU MISO - 10/10 For flavour...absolutely bloody delicious<br/>As usual we started with edamame beans. Something so simple yet so tasty and More-ish. They came out almost straight away.<br/><br/>The service here is really good and the staff have an extensive knowledge of each dish. They keep watch on you also when your almost done they make preparations for the next dish so that your not sitting around watching the kitchen door thinking where is my food!!<br/>we shared some vegetarian sushi which came with plenty of wasabi which I adore. <br/> <br/><br/>We also ordered another Vegetable dish and my partner ordered a non vegan prawn dish and two bowls of rice, so for the price we were very happy.<br/><br/>I Highly recommend Nobu, Perth as they have lots of Vegan options. <br/><br/>On a seperate occasion we came here for my birthday dinner and orered a lot more dishes. I didn't even order off the menu and just asked the waitress to keep bringing me out vegan dishes. From memory everything was perfect and I remember another dish (other than the Nasu Miso, which is my all time favourite) being really good. That was a sizzling mushroom hot plate dish made with enoki mushrooms.

Amazing experience. Best customer service, food was great, must try the “white chocolate mango martini” & Salmon sashimi with the “Chocolate & Yuzu Karashi Su Miso”

One of the favorite to go for. The cod fish, pork belly and Kampyo sushi its a must ordered. The lunch bento set was great for it value. Too full to even had dessert.
Iva Zacconi
We came here for our anniversary and it definitely lived up to the hype! I don’t eat much fish (besides sashimi) but after the waiter high recommended the black cod miso, we ordered it. It was probably one of the best dishes we’ve both ever tried. We also had a few different tacos, sashimi, tempura and the soft shell crab and watermelon salad. It was all incredible! High recommend trying it out
Kuruppted
Absolutely amazing atmosphere, service and meal. Had the $120 teppanyaki and was mind blown by the quality. the prawns with Yuzu and pork belly with miso caramel were amazing. Also, for someone like me who isn't much of a sweet tooth, the miso cappuccino and nobu cheesecake with passionfruit sorbet were simply divine. Hands down best restaurant in Perth, worth every cent.
Kadriye
First time going to nobu, and honestly it did not disappoint the flavours were there my favourite was definitely the Carpaccio with quail egg, it comes with 3 pieces and we ordered an extra one for $12, the only thing I could fault was the portion sizes of the tacos there one bite full for $11, I will return tho.
ITSFOODNET
Great experience, the interior, the food nd the service all was fantastic. The price is also good too and all the general vibes were good too. Would love to come back again.

Excellent experience! <br/><br/>From the second we walked in it was very impressive. Beautiful decor and pretty decent views for its location (not much to see).<br/><br/>For the food we ordered the 8 course Omakase as we hadn’t been to a Nobu before and wanted to sample some favorites. We also added a couple of the tacos after seeing the photos on here.<br/><br/>Everything was amazing including the drinks.<br/><br/>Sorry for the names in the photos so much to remember might have a few slight mistakes with the names! <br/><br/>We had the following;<br/>- Yellowtail TarTar with Caviar<br/>- Sushi selection, from the left Tuna, Ocean Trout, Sardine and I think Kano snow crab??<br/>- Snapper with wasabi salsa<br/>- Sashimi salad with Matsuhisa dressing<br/>- Salmon and Wagu tacos<br/>- Black Cod Miso<br/>- Beef Yakimono<br/>- Noodle Soba (noodles in broth)<br/>- Nobu Cheesecake with passion fruit sorbet and raspberry sauce<br/><br/><br/>Would recommend for the experience. Favorite part was either the Snapper with Wasabi Salsa or the Wagu taco!

Nobu is my all time favourite japanese restaurant to be honest. Never fails to please at all. If you go you have to try their tacos they are amazing. I also recommend the yellowtail with jalapenos. Overall great service and a very nice modern restaurant.

If you're looking for a special dining experience, then look no further than Nobu. Beautiful, atmospheric setting - TICK. Classy ambience - TICK. Excellent service and attentive waitstaff - TICK. Food that is on another level quality and taste wise - BIG FAT TICK. I love coming here for all these very reasons. So many wonderful dishes to choose from, my personal favourites being: Black miso cod (to die for!), spicy tuna crispy rice, tuna tataki, prawn with butter ponzu or jalapeño, creamy spicy crab, scallop sashimi to name just a few (the menu is extensive)....desserts are wonderful too, a must try is the green tea lava cake and the miso cappuccino. Hands down one of THE best restaurants in Perth. Pricey but oh so worth it.
Matt
Great quality food (taste, freshness and presentation). Ambiance and service was excellent as well. <br/>A little on the pricey side but if you can afford it then by all means!! Well worth the money spent in my opinion.

Everything my family and I have tried here have been amazingly tasty. We loved all the sashimi and the desserts look and taste great - my favourite is definitely their cheese cake, it's on another level.

Went to Nobu with my gf to celebrate anniversary. Love this place, best sushi and sashimi in Perth! Black cod fish is the best taste fish ever had!
Lauren Sky
Menu clearly states that they serve the Omakase before 9:00pm, by my watch 8:55pm is before 9:00pm, so for them to say they can’t do it simply because they want to close up early is honestly a joke and completely unacceptable. Whatever happened to sticking by what is stated and giving good customer service, honestly appalled at the slackness from what is supposed to be a premium restaurant.<br/>Cancelled my booking because of how completely disappointed I am in their service.
HungryBum
My husband and I adore good food, and as such we make a point of dining in the best restaurants in Australia and in the world. I can comfortably say that my meal tonight at Nobu was one of the finest I have ever eaten. It was truly spectacular dining from start to finish, every morsel was delectable. We sat at the bar and both had the signature set menu. The service was a perfect balance of conversational and professional and we loved interacting with the junior Sous Chef who served the majority of our meals. An absolutely wonderful experience!

Love this place. My partner and I dined here on a Saturday night with no reservation. Turned up at 7 and were told it would be a 90 minute wait for a table, no problem as we just went off for a few cocktails at The<br/>Waiting Room. <br/><br/>This was our second visit to Nobu, with way too long between visits.<br/><br/>The food was amazing. The truffled edamame and yuba<br/>and edamame tempura were a perfect start with drinks. We followed this with many small vegan dishes, the favourite being the nasu miso.<br/><br/>There are so many vegan dishes already on the menu, just let the wait staff know and they can advise.<br/>

I recently took my partner to Nobu for her birthday, which was a very special occasion as we had not been out in over a year since having our first child. We were recommended the set menu, which was average at best. None of the dishes were exactly mind blowing and one of them was frozen in the middle and it wasn't the sorbet! The worst part of the night was when we were rushed from our table to sit and finish our desert in the front bar. We aren't the type to get all aggressive at the waiter but it was very disappointing especially given the price. You would think when you pay the price to eat the set menu they would let you finish it in one place. We were there for barely half an hour. Nobu you should be ashamed!
Bee
As you would expect, everything at Nobu is pretty much amazing in terms of venue, service, ambience, food etc. Taste wise, everything was great other than the veggies. It was charred veggies and I personally didn't think it was anything special. I keep comparing my experience to a Japanese restaurant in Melb Kisume and nothing beats that
WingCommander
All class.  This was only a work lunch but I was stunned from the welcome, to the attentive and knowledgeable waiter, to the standout food.<br/><br/>Very impressed, and certainly one of the rare restaurant experiences where it feels the investment has been made for the customers benefit.
Aimee
I love Nobu. Absolutely one of my favourite places. The food, the service, the setting, the price. It’s all amazing and all 100% worth it! Love it.
Navi Singh
If you like innovation and Japanese food then Nobu is the place for you. It is not cheap so you probably won’t eat here every night but for a special occasion it is totally worth it. The food and service are both top notch.
Lesley Anne Waay Sales
Best birthday dinner! Food was amazing. Out of all the dishes that we had, the Tuna and Salmon sashimi was a standout. The sashimi was delectable. There was no fishy after taste what so ever. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Highly recommended and definitely coming back for more.
Marcella Musuruca
Something everyone’s got to experience. Nobu is certainly a lucky treat, and surprisingly the bill wasn’t as expensive as we thought. We got the most popular dishes but the beef tataki was the stand out. Will definitely be coming back for another special occasion.<br/>
Whynot
The first time coming here I didn’t get why the rating was so high and the hype about this place but after doing some research and coming back the second time I can see why people like it. I ordered the wagyu tacos, black miso cod, rib eye with truffle (500g) and a few desserts. All of these dishes were delicious and I still felt full the next day. For people coming here for the first time I recommend you do your research to get the best experience and money for your food.

This was my first visit to Nobu and I have been thoroughly impressed by the quality of food and service. Especially loved the black cod miso and cauliflower with jalapeño salsa. Also the staff presented us with a wonderful surprise with all the desserts served on a massive birthday platter. Prices are steep but well worth the occasional splurge.<br/><br/>Edit: I have been back many times and will continue to include must-try dishes. Chef’s omakase (best omakase I’ve had thus far), black cod miso, yellowtail sashimi with jalapeño, wagyu gyoza, miso cappuccino.
Fiona Tim
I can't say enough about this place. From the service to the food to the ambiance, it has to be five stars all the way. We had their premium bentos, all four of us had different ones and they were all spectacular. Presentation of food aside, the fresh ingredients and blend of flavours were worth their somewhat hefty price tag. Their desserts, especially their famous below-zero yogurt ice-cream is as amazing as all the reviews claim it to be.
Spoonful Of Em
My partner and I booked for Teppanyaki a couple of weeks in advance. We were seated with 5 other guests for a pleasant evening. The staff were so accommodating and friendly. It is so worth the money for the experience, everything is delicious and I cannot fault this place!
Dingjunbo521
It was a good memory. The food is good with quality service . The only thing is that do not forget book in advance. I want to be there again.
Saurav Jha
Their Miso Cod is to die for! Dining here is quite expensive but still worth it. This ain't one of those pretentious fine dine restaurants with all oomph and no flavour, they do out of the ordinary delicious food!
Sladjana Jocic
OH MY GOD!! Absolutely fell in love with with everything here! The food, the drinks, the staff, did I mention the food? The restaurant, oh and if I hadn’t mentioned it before the food!! WOW WOW WOW!!
Thomas Flynn
Have been waiting to go here for a long time with my wife. Well it was worth the wait. We had the a la carte menu for dinner and it was amazing. The hostess we had provided excellent service and explained the menu to us as we hadn’t been there before. She also gave her recommendations and we followed each one and it was a good choice. <br/>We had the Pork tacos, soft shell crab and watermelon tempura, the Wagyu Kyoza all deliciously beautiful and we had their signature dish the black cod miso that was absolutely amazing and I highly recommend anyone to try it as it was the best fish I have ever tasted. We were pretty full after thyme but the food was so nice I went for the chicken skewers and they were delicious. <br/>It was all reasonably priced and the setting was relaxing. We had no room for desert but they looked very enticing. 4.8/5
Nick B
We opted for the Chef’s Choice Omakase Menu. 8 dishes superbly executed by the chef. Visually appealing and we thought suspenceful wondering what treat would come next
La Gastronomique
I think the reviews/rating speaks for itself. Been to Nobu half a dozen times over the years & it’s top drawer. From bento 🍱 box for lunch or the teppanyaki it’s all really nice and a great experience.

Love this place!!! First time to Nobu and will definitely go back soon. Food was amazing! Black miso cod and the tacos were the popular choice! Little pricey but will worth it!! ☺️☺️

What an experience ,best food and service i ever experienced, especially nobu’s miso fish was out of the world it was magic dish .we tried 4 different cocktails all were amazing specially the white chocolate margarita was divine .<br/>Everything there was above and beyond from <br/>imagination.

Went here for my dads birthday. Lovely staff. All of my family ordered bento boxes for lunch looked too beautiful to eat. My sisters 2 children had fish tempura and salmon teriyaki they enjoyed it didn't want to share (rude) My other half always orders beef tataki yum. I ordered the unagi (eel) so good my 3 year old niece insisted that I had to share! Whaaaaaa?! I will definitely recommend to everyone to go here.

Nobu Restaurant can be found in five different continents and it's a very well-known Japanese restaurant worldwide. When I had an invitation from DGPR to Sushi Masterclass by Nobu, I got really excited. Not only learning more about sushi, we got to try delicious food from Nobu as well. Read on to see the different types of sashimi and dishes at Nobu.

Food was super nice especially the tobanyaki and the roll! For sashimi lovers, here is the heaven. All the sashimi were so fresh! All veggies were so fresh too! Staff were so professional and attentive! No photos taken since we were too hungry :p
Aidan "Avvinash" Louis
lovely food however my heart split in two when I found out there was no curry puffs :/ other than that their food was pretty good. Would still appreciate more curry puffs and maybe even more curries

Can I just say- the best Jap I have tasted in Perth<br/>Parking- obv free and Crown<br/>Price- pricey but worth the quality, service, taste and lovely interior<br/>The restaurant overlooks the pools which is beautiful and interior is very clean/modern.<br/><br/>We ordered the Premium bento with the miso Cod.<br/>The fish was the absolute highlight- it melts in your mouth and the miso sauce is delicious<br/>The lobster salad was also my favourite in the bentobox<br/>I would definitely come back- but on a special occasion as it is not good for the wallet 😂

Hands down best japanese in perth<br/>Desserts are amazing<br/>Miso cod is a must, tobanyaki is amazing<br/>The steak with yuzu and mushroom sauce is absolutely delicious<br/>Ive been 5-6 times and has been consistently good, attention to detail amazing! By a country mile one of the best meals we have experienced in some time.  Attentive staff, superb food and a lovely ambience.  We'll be back!

As my readers will know by now. No interstate trip is ever complete with Iron Fist is complete without a splurge on something extravagant. Which is why I found myself at Crown Perth, at Nobu, which he was very keen to try after our enjoyable experience at their Melbourne store last year. Compared to Melbourne, I found the Perth setup to be far more fancy and elegant, with a decidedly less wooden theme. The ceiling piece was especially captivating. Having made a reservation beforehand (of course), we were soon comfortably seated.
Traveler8373
Fabulous food, lovely people. Black Cod Bento was delicious. Don't bother with the Beef Tenderloin or Chicken Teriyaki Bento. But if you do, the Anticucho is spicier than the Teriyaki. Desserts were divine. Had the black sesame ice cream sandwich and triple mochi.
Laura G
Amazing service and incredible food. This was my first Nobu experience and was not disappointed. We tried many items on the menu, at our waiters suggestion, and everything was perfect. I am highly allergic to nuts and sesame seeds and they were amazing to deal with my allergies. Will definitely be back.
Meika Atkins
Nobu is probably the only place in Perth where I would rave about the food but rave even harder about the staff; they are brilliantly helpful and well-informed. Also, the truffle edamame is life-changing.
Clayton
We were lucky enough to try Nobu for the first time last night. Genuinely pissed off at ourselves we hadn't been here sooner.<br/>Absolutely sensational from start to finish.<br/>From the faultless service to the sublime food - BOOK NOW!<br/>The attentiveness of our waiter made both ordering and navigating the menu a breeze!<br/>The Yellowtail Jalepeno Salsa blew us away, simply a must try. We tried quite a few other dishes and one after the other we were simply blown away. Balanced flavours, presentation, what a place! <br/>Don't mess around get in there you won't be sorry!
Marg De Blanken
Our party of 4 had dinner last night in a noisy restaurant surrounded by baseball caps, black t-shirts and jeans. Although the food was amazing, the service was good, we would not recommend nor return to Nobu. Really disappointed. We expected better, but if the dress code is suburban pub, we could have gone elsewhere for a lot cheaper meal.
Trần Ái Uyên
Worst experience ever among Crown restaurants I've ever had. The food portion is small in comparison to the price. The food quality cannot even be considered 'average', it tastes like cheap Japanese foodcourt in the shopping centres. Trust me guys, cant imagine that they terribly rolled the rolls loosely. Add on with rubbish frozen prawns for one of the stir-fried dishes
BrookeM
Beautiful dinner at nobu! Exceptional food and service. Loved all of the dishes, especially the pork belly. <br/>We will be back for next special occasion.
Mark Kelly
Japanese dish with the wow factor. The food is presented amazingly and taste just as good as it looks. Staff are very professional, explains the dish and always making sure you are comfortable. Definately worth the money. A nice aura setting, with great views over the pool of crown. Great food, great sake, killa desserts. Flawless.
Eric Mu
Expensive!!! But worth a try. I am not a fan of fusion Japanese food, but Nobu did not disappoint me. The service was excellent, the food was tasty. I will mark this place for further big events.
Luka Neo
Came here for a special occasion and it definitely didn’t disappoint. The food is of very high quality and the service is excellent. The staff are very friendly and they have a wide selection of food and drinks to choose from and overall very professional. The food again is spectacular and is definitely a must try! Will definitely come again
Anna Lam
Great place for a nice experience! Food was on point with deluxe and we enjoyed every little bit of it. The drinks were a pleasant treat and staff were very friendly and helpful.

Its my 2nd visit to Nobu and what a great dining experience once again. We opted to do the a-la-carte and tried a variety of dishes. The Yellowtail Sashimi with jalapenos was fresh although ive had this same dish elsewhere which was equally as good. The Octopus Carpaccio was on another level though and looked spectacular. The King Crab was beautiful. The Black Cod Miso - Wow!! This truly is one of the best fish dishes ive ever had, so tender and not over complicated by flavours, the miso was just suttle enough in the background so that the Black Cod shines as the hero of the dish. 10/10 for this dish alone. We also ordered another hot dish as recomended by the waitress - the Scallop with Spicy Garlic Sauce, unfortunately this dish did not hit the mark for me. Its a chinese inspired dish and although the scallops & veges were cooked well(not overdone), it just seemed to lack flavour & character. We ended the night with the Miso Cappuciono, well presented to look like a cup of cappucino but so much texture and flavour all in the one cup. The miso is right at the bottom so make sure you dig deep to get all the flavours in a mouthful. <br/>Service was attentive and we were lucky enough to get a table by the window. The views overlooking the pool is amazing. Not a cheap night but well worth the visit for that special occasions.

A great birthday dining experience!!! Excellent ambience with delectable dishes.<br/>Liked the mains , both sauces are exquisite n palatable.<br/>Staffs are attentive and pleasant.<br/>Of course this 5 stars dining experience will definitely comes with 5 stars prices!!!! Beverage like sake is expensive , prices on mains n deserts are more friendly. <br/>

What an experience! Came here for a special occasion and it was definitely a great experience. Food here is definitely pricey but the food quality and service is top notch! Definitely try the miso cod, it was full of fatty deliciousness. The tacos were small but very flavourful. The dragon roll was good but nothing to rave about. They also had a special truffle menu and we ordered the sea bass with truffle and crispy spinach. Very generous amounts of truffle slices, try it if it is still available!

Dined last Saturday night.<br/><br/>This restaurant has a classy vibe, but is not at all stuffy or pretentious.<br/><br/>We ordered; the yellow tail sashimi, soft shell crab, pepper crusted sea bass and pork belly.<br/>All the dishes were excellent and the highlight was the crab with watermelon.<br/><br/>For dessert, we ordered the miso cappuccino, which was a dessert experience!<br/><br/>The service was friendly, helpful and attentive.

Nobu is one of my favourite Restaurant globally. Seafood is so fresh as it will melt in your mouth. I am totally in love with the sashimi, even though i am not a seafood fan. Life can not get better than have a satisfying meal. Follow me on Instagram @ Cissythescorpio

After a recent meal at Nobu Melbourne and Perth I cant help but compare, overall I think the experience in Perth was better as far as atmosphere and décor is concerned however not the service and one little thing that annoyed me all night and that was the uncomfortable booth seat at Nobu Perth.Another thing was my encounter with one of the bar staff at Perth before we went in to dine, unfortunately he was abrupt and made me feel uncomfortable obviously in a hurry and putting pressure on me to make a quick decision without actually helping me do so.The bar area was a little noisy - as bars tend to be but it sounded more like a pub (as I walk past them!) a far cry from the up market glamorous décor! One in the restaurant what can I say? the food the food the food! can not fault it at all and don't want to!Still lovely décor but they need to address the comfort of the booth seats. I hate booth seats anyway, especially in higher end restaurants and these were not comfortable and even for someone like me who is 176cm tall, I had to sit on an extra cushion to not be at slurping height to the table top!

Ummmm, Nobu.. never impressed me this place after I've been here twice. Paying this amount of money, $190 for two, I expect good service. Non many helpful people are working there. A waitress pour beer into glass and she spilled over. Did she come back to wipe the table? No she didn't. Very very disappointed. Food was good but I prefer James Parker in Northbridge for food, atmosphere AND FRIENDLY STAFF!!

Absolutey great! The spinach salad with dry miso is AMAZING! We had Miso, Saki, Asahi, Tacos, Beef Tataki, Sashimi.<br/>Outstanding. No more to say.<br/>Well worth it.<br/>ONE BIG BUG..WHY ARE WE EXPECTED TO PAY 1.5% CC SURCHARGE. RIDICULOUS IF YOU SPEND $400 ON FOOD WHERE FOOD COST IS 29% OF SELL PRICE. NOT ACCEPTABLE!! NOBU...LIFT YOUR GAME. 'Penalised' in a cashless society in a high end restaurant? Not on!

Love this place, love the food here<br/>Been here so many times and always order wagyu foie gras nigiri and balsamic teriyaki fish. Can't remember the full name<br/>But must try these!

Have to say this isn't for me. Very expensive for what you get and not to my taste. Service was very good. Drinks were ok but again take your credit card! Felt a little cluttered considering the high end market it aims for.

Decor: very class looking establishment <br/>Wait staff: knowledgable, friendly and attentive<br/>Food: I ordered truffle soy ribeye<br/> Lobster with truffle butter, <br/> many pork tacos<br/> And 100g of their finest wagyu<br/> For dessert: miso cappuccino <br/> 10/10 would recommend everything <br/>Price: $$$$$ but you get what you pay for <br/><br/>Now my new favourite restaurant

Talk about overrated. <br/><br/>Dinner for five- $531.00<br/><br/>My entree was the edamame truffle flavoured popcorn. Which is just a decorative way of saying "soybeans coated in a batter and deep fried" <br/><br/>What truffle flavour? <br/>Half of my "popcorn" had soybeans, the other half, just balls of batter. No dipping sauce...just plain deep friend beans and batter. Tasteless, boring, NEXT..<br/><br/>Miso soup- standard. <br/><br/>Main- I had the Tasmanian Ocean Trout on a bed of crispy spinach. The trout was undercooked to my liking, so I sent it back to be cooked through a little more. Staff were very compliant, this was good. <br/><br/>The jus that lined the bottom of my dish was salty and over powering, wilting my "crispy spinach". This was bad. <br/><br/>The spinach had been drenched in oil and baked to concoct the "crispy spinach" effect. Which was great initially. However left an excessive oily coating in my mouth which resulted in me wasting 3/4 of my meal. <br/><br/>Dessert cushioned the blow of my high expectations been blown to pieces. (See images attached) <br/><br/>I definitely wouldn't return. <br/>The service is great, the atmosphere is ok (despite how congested and overfilled they allow the restaurant to become) <br/><br/>I say no to Nobu.

Second time dining and still blown away. The service was mediocre other than the maitre de who gave an enthusiastic greeting.<br/><br/>The seating arrangement can have you dining rather close to other diners, which can be an issue if you or they are loud.<br/><br/>The set up and lighting make it an intimate romantic evening. One thing I would suggest is to put your phones aside and enjoy your company! <br/> <br/>Spicy Truffle Edamame- the salt and spice combination along with the truffle created cupids perfect match for the palette.<br/><br/>Soft Shell Crab Watermelon- do not let this combination scare you away. A pool of sweet vinaigrette is balanced by fresh cold watermelon. The crab is meaty and lightly fried. Simply unique and delicious.<br/><br/>Scallops with Spicy Garlic Sauce - lightly spiced scallops that melt in your mouth this dish we could not fault. This dish is not just scallops. It's is accompanied by sautéed vegetables also coated in the spicy garlic sauce. <br/><br/>Pork Belly Spicy Miso Caramel- the pork belly was moist and tender. The shaved ginger paired with the caramel sauce spiced up this sweet delight. It was so delightful that we had almost finished the entire serving without snapping a shot for our fellow foodies!<br/><br/>Alfajores Nobu Style- <br/><br/>Yuzu Shortbread, Dulce de Leche Ice Cream
Whipped Chocolate Ganache, Yuzu Curd
Candied Puffed Buckwheat, Raspberry <br/><br/>A very interesting and delicious combination of flavours and textures. Smooth creamy ice cream atop a shortbread boat floating along a tart lemon curd river.

AMAZING. Obviously it's expensive, but for a fancy night out, it was a fun experience and delicious! Make sure to order the black cod miso and white chocolate / green tea lava cake

Wow! This place is not exactly cheap, but you do get what you pay for. The food is amazing, the service is spot on and I will definitely be back again and again. First visit we had the degustation and the theatre of the dinner was a lovely touch. The desserts were especially memorable. <br/>Also have been here recently for lucnh and everything in the $45 bento nox was exceptional.

Since Nobu arrived on Perth shores, I have only heard great things mentioned. People that have either been to Nobu Perth or other Nobu restaurants in the world only speak highly of the food and what I call the 'Nobu Experience'. You are not going to Nobu to just merely eat, drink and have done with it... You are going to dine and taste beautiful delicacys, you are going to waited on by knowledgeable and atentive staff. You leave satisfied, but wanting another 'Nobu Experience'

It's a better experience here than the one in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.<br/>Quality and ambiance is superb.<br/>Love the mini tacos and the cappuccino mouse.<br/>Nobu is Nobu and they have maintain it well ❤️

2nd time here and all i can say is..delicious and quality food! tried their omakase and teppanyaki set. both did not disappoint. Must try their desserts too! <br/>Premiumly priced and there is a min spend per pax for Teppanyaki.  <br/>good place to go for celebrations/special occasions.

Love their infamous miso cod fish, sashimi, dessert and seasonal specials! The beef mains are overrated and the tempura dishes could be better in terms of the batter, presentation and portions.<br/><br/>

Brilliant food. Brilliant ambience. Brilliant service. Words do not suffice. Go there. Now. Enough said. Did I say - go there. In case I didn't. Go there. NOW!!!!!!!!!

Had a work related dinner here and the experience was great. The service was attentive and staff were friendly. The food was of good quality, both palate-wise and presentation-wise. I don't usually eat sashimi but I gave it a try, and it was pretty good. Loved the dessert platter, and loved my cocktail!!

We went on Easter monday and had their Omakase lunch menu, which also came with a glass of champagne each ( $110 pp). This was our first time at Nobu and we weren't dissapointed. <br/>Food was fresh and delicious. I think the black miso cod was the highlight of the courses! Dessert we had was amazing too, it had 4 layers and lots of different texture, without being too sweet. Staffs were friendly and helpful. We really enjoyed our dining experience.

Nobu is a special splurge with atmospheric intimacy and mouthwateringly memorable dishes. The black miso cod will swim in your culinary memories forever and the sashimi is also fresh and delicious. The various cocktails are interesting and tasty. It's a great setting for a special occasion, and you can easily savour the experience and watch a bit of pretense and posing in this Casino venue. Whilst it doesn't have the glitz and ritz of a nighttime Nobu visit, the daytime bento lunch box is incredible value. There are a few price point options, but with the mid range choice you can have a choice of a signature dish, a vegetable side, sashimi, rice, tempura and miso for under $50. It's a great way to sample a range of their fare for a reasonable indulgence.
