Within the Chicken Karage Bento, the chicken and sushi were nice. There was plenty of rice which I didn't manage to finish. The fruit didn't look very sweet (looks much brighter in the picture than it actually was), and it wasn't. However, I did get this bento for the chicken so it was good enough for me. I found it to be very filling.
Went to this place for lunch in a big group. I thought it would be packed but seemed like most people ordered for takeaway, so we managed to get a table for our group. It is not the best Japanese restaurant in town, but the service is quick and price is reasonable.
We had lunch here today. Service was quick and efficient. I had the tofu teriyaki which comes with rice and shredded cabbage. It was served piping hot and fresh. A little sweet for my tastes but still nice. He had a katsu chicken bento box which was a great selection of salad, sushi etc. Again, it was fresh, hot and thoroughly enjoyed. The decor is a little boring but very clean.
YUM. I shared some sushi and a karagee chicken with a friend a week ago and it was just delicious! The fruit was a nice way to finish the meal. Loved this place!
Above and beyond. I had heard very good things about this place before arrival. To my delight the food was great. very affordable and worth the walk from my work. The best Japanese I have had in perth by far. The rice made it the best, not cluggy and clumpy, just perfection in sushi. The karage chicken was lovely
These bentos are AWESOME. Absolutely fantastic bento boxes. GREAT value for money and the quality is spot on every time... and we've been here religiously far too many times. Despite living down in North Cott and working in Freo, we are still drawn back to this place and we look forward to any reason to go into the city for this reason.
We have the Teriyaki Tofu Bento and Katsu Chicken Bento and they have never failed us. Always fresh, always excellent quality ingredients. They come with generous portions of tofu/chicken, delicious sauces, perfectly cooked rice, fresh salad and sushi. There's kewpie-style mayo at your disposal and the option to eat inside or out. We keep meaning to try all the other wonderful things they offer, but we're so stuffed after the Bentos and love them too much not to have them each time we go. We've been to so many Japanese places, but no other bentos have ever compared. I suppose why change a good thing!
I had the teriyaki beef today, fantastic value for $11 and pretty fresh, with a nice addition of fruit to round out the meal.

Good for lunch. East Perth is a wee bit of a wasteland for lunch options, so Nagoya is worth a visit. The inari is good, as is the tobiko (although it can be a bit patchy). Chicken teriyaki bento box is good, and so is the oyako don, although a few more green vegetables wouldn't go astray.
Food is very good and reasonably priced. Pickled Ginger should be free with your sushi though.
If you’re in the mood for Japanese and you’re in East Perth, head down to Nagoya for dine in or takeaway. They have a range of dishes to choose from and the place seems popular as there was a steady stream of people coming and going and taking tables to enjoy their lunch. I enjoyed my chicken karaage bento and was filling. A cheap eat that is still tasty.
Really sad to read this Japanese Fast Food icon closes on 1/11/19 & isnt reopening anywhere else. So many empty businesses in the vicinity.
It had very quick service, and great lunchtime food. Used to go twice a week when l worked down the road.
Enjoyed the food a warm and welcoming setting and the prices are fair. Has friendly and attentive staff. Definitely will go there again.
Fresh clean teriyaki chicken Bento plus generous portions...very nice and relaxing casual atmosphere with plenty of space
Love it. Cheap and tasty, and it comes out fast. I wish I worked closer to here so I could make it a regular lunch habit.
Ordered bento Katsu chicken, pretty generous serving on salad and rice. Food is decent
