Nice noodle dishes. 2 nice aunties cooking the food. For lunch I like the hakka noodles and grandma's special. For dinner three egg veggies and the hakka pork is good.
A little gem in Rossmoyne. I have been here a few times and always enjoy my meal. I ordered the house special noodles for the first time and it didn't disappoint - egg noodles in a gravy sauce which was seasoned just right (non of that MSG taste). The hakka noodles is another solid dish. The pork trotter is a must try and as well as the hakka fried pork!
This is HOME! Literally awesome hakka food at your doorstep. The deep fried pork is yumm, cereal king prawns is a must-try, and pork trotter is something you can never find anywhere else in Perth.
Good food. It's not too oily or salty, tastes fresh. Fish head noodle is the better one in this area. Not too busy either and you can eat in peace and quiet.
Read good reviews about the Hakka food so my brother and I decided to have lunch here today. We tried their Hakka noodle with fried pork. Both of us love the texture of their Hakka noodles - quite different from the usual type of noodles you get in Perth. Portion was generous - I couldn't finish my noodles even though it was delicious. Service was excellent - we didn't even have to ask for cut chillies. Complementary cold water provided. I decided to take away the Braised pork trotter with pickle for dinner. The meat was cooked till melt in mouth tender and the gravy was yummy. Will definitely come back again to try the other Hakka dishes.
Family and I came here to taste the Hakka speciality dishes and we cannot find any fault in any of the dishes. We had the pork belly with yam, pig trotters in black vinegar, three vegetable with salted egg yolk, marmite chicken, and fish wings. All the dishes felt homely and reminded me of the time being in Kota Kinabalu eating Jia Gung (Grandpa) and Jia Poh's (Grandma) dishes. I recommend anyone looking for home cooked food with quality and taste to come visit this restaurant.

Heard about this place a while back and I finally got to try it - dying for some traditional Hakka cuisine. It was very quiet here, which made me wonder about its positive reviews of authenticity. Tried quite a few of their recommended dishes. Ordered the Braised Pork, Sambal French Beans, Fried Pork, Stuffed Tofu, Crispy Kailan Beef and Marmite Tooth fish. All in all they were reasonable, but I expected some of the dishes to be a bit more traditional. The tofu and braised pork were not cooked how I have always eaten then since a child. The Sambal flavour was ok, but not the best. Tooth fish was soft and crispy, cooked well but the most was a little fishy. Liked the fried pork, didn't feel too fatty or dry. Overall food was a little too salty, but I'm glad there's a place that's cooking this style.
Had another great evening with great friends at Rossmoyne Chinese Restaurant. We had Hakka Braised Pork Knuckle, Braised Ginger Duck (favourite Hakka dish), Crispy Salted Egg yolk Bitter Bourd, the restaurant's signature dish - Hakka-style stuffed tofu, Lemon grass Seaford, one of their new addition - Peking Spare Ribs and the Hakka Pig Trotter in Black Vinegar Sauce. As usual the food and service did not disappoint..."We will be back"
Rossmoyne Chinese Restaurant : good authentic Hakka food, good & fast service. Fluffy cooked rice. Chicken cooked to perfection...so tender and juicy! Hakka pork trotters were delicious. Highly recommended. Brings back memories of my childhood when my mum used to cook this delicious dish. Will go there again very soon to try their other famous dishes.
Love this place...friendly staff, clean simple little restaurant. Ordered 2 lunch specials, spring rolls and 2 drinks for under $30. The lunch specials we had were honey chicken and mongolian beef. Both came with fried rice and bok choy. The rice was fluffy and flavoursome and the meat was tender and well cooked. We will definitely be heading back for dinner.

Whenever we crave for Malaysian or Chinese food, we often take a drive down to suburbs south of the river to satisfy our cravings. Living up north of the river, we are left with limited choices of Asian eateries. I first heard of Rossmoyne Chinese Restaurant from Helen (@helenrelativelifestyle) who told me that they serve authentic Malaysian Hakka dishes. From there, I knew right away that I have to pay Rossmoyne Chinese Restaurant a visit.
I usually go to Antonio next door to get pastries but it didn't have any today. Decided to get take away here instead! Had the Special Hakka noddles, good serving, Minced pork and BBQ pork tasted good, plenty of veg & blanched perfectly, not sure if noodles are hand made but texture is quite good. I paid extra for the additional fried pork, they forgot but I won't hold it against them, I will bring it up when I next visit to try other dishes.
I recently enjoyed a Birthday luncheon at Rossmoyne Chinese. The vegetables and seafood were very fresh and cooked to perfection. The servings were of good size and affordable. I can highly recommend this restaurant for it's food quality and delightful menu.........one of the better ones of Perth.
Food here is really good! Especially when you're looking for authentic Malaysian Hakka food. Its a nice quiet little place and I would totally recommend coming here if you're looking for some good Chinese food.
I love this restaurant, a Malaysian hakka restaurant. Have only recently came across this restaurant but have quickly became my favourite. The dishes served are very authentic hakka dishes. Top tip, call in the book a table and request for their pork meatball soup. It has to be ordered before hand and is not in the menu. I love their crispy pork belly and stuffed tofu!
This shop is located in a quiet shopping village. We were glad to see it was one of the Chinese restaurants opened on a Tuesday when others were shut. They have a well range menu from your sweet and sour pork and rice lunch specials at $8.90 to your hawker style dishes such as Hokkien mee. The service was friendly and helpful and they were kid friendly too, offering sweets to our little ones. I had the yong tau foo that was silky and the gravy was thick and tasty. The Hakka mee had perfectly fried crispy pork with a salty coating, I only wish there was more. The mince and noodles were tasty and the bok choy cleaned my palate. The size of the dish was ok, as I said I only wished there was more crispy delicious pork! Can't emphasise that enough :)
This is a hidden treasure. Good small Chinese restaurant in the local suburb; and it is not your ordinary Chinese Food, its specialty is Hakka dishes. Yuummmm. My eyes were set to "stuffed tofu" and "Hakka fried pork". Delicious! Mouth watering! There is nothing more to say. Dont forget the noodle dish. We decided to order the house special; i am in heaven, it was so good! We will come back for sure to try some other dishes
I first heard of Rossmoyne Chinese Restaurant when a fellow Instagrammer tagged me on her post with a picture of a scrumptious looking Hakka Egg Noodles with deep fried pork. It drew me in instantly! The following night I paid the restaurant a visit with the family but to my disappointment found it full! And it was only 530pm! Not to be deterred, I went back again the following week but this time I was smart enough to call ahead, and yes there was a table available! Phew!
Pleasant interior, clean and bright. Friendly service although only one person was on the floor serving customers. Ordered the dry noodle with fried pork and special noodle. Both were delicious. The fried pork was spot on, crunchy and flavourful. The noodle was more enjoyable when eaten with the pickled chilli as it cuts through the greasyness. The special noodle had lots of topping, the noodle crunchy and the sauce had just enough seasoning. Would absolutely recommend this place to friends, and I'd like to come back to try the rest of their menu!
Recommended by my friend who is a regular, didn't disappoint me. The food here is so so yummy. Meefun & their signature fried Pork are must try. Even they are a small family based restaurant, service is excellent, so attentive and friendly.

Authentic Hakka Cuisine. I been there last weekend.. to be frank, their curry noodle is one of the best I ever had in Perth. Plus their Hakka noodle remind me a lot of the Malaysia Hakka noodle. Fried rice is one of the best in town as well.
Looking forward to visit again as the food there is nice. Really want to try out their Hakka dish.

I didn't think it would be that good.
The menu looks a bit typical, looks like one of those old school take-away place but the dishes are cooked by real Chinese for sure.
Common dishes like fried rice and peking spare ribs are cooked so well which are tasty and not too oily.
Sait and pepper squid was cooked perfect, not chewy at all and love that little kick of spice.
And byo for wine makes this restaurant a bargain.
Sometimes I am so lazy, I don't want to travel too far and love easy parking right at the front.
Going back to this place for sure.
Good value Chinese food, especially if you take out. It can be a bit slow at times, but if you're in no rush it's a good spot
Always fresh and very tasty. Can highly recommend the Fried Ice Cream!
