Nancy, John and the boys have run this corner cafe for years and have a horde of regular local workers enjoy breakfast or lunch either take-away or sitting inside or outside to eat. There are many choices of hot dishes and the roast beef rolls are really yummy as is the cauliflower cheese. Today I ordered assorted sandwiches for a board meeting and they were ready to be picked up at the time requested and looked delicious. The coffee is really good and for convenience there is an ATM on the premises.

A+ for Service. The best service in the area. I live nearby and come past for breakfast on the run most days, and they always get me off to a great start. Great prices (cheaper than my work canteen, and much friendlier too!), food made fresh and fast. Great little spot.
Great Roast rolls. We discovered this little gem recently and after having a hot roast and gravy roll we are now regulars! Delicious and great service too!
Basic lunch, seriously better than good coffee. How unassuming this place is. I ventured away from my usual coffee spots to give this place a shot, based on the reviews. Believe it! The coffee is top-notch. The service is super friendly too.
SOOOYA GOOD. Hey Cafe Addict I think you must be mixing up Something Good with something else. The very first time I went to this wonderful family cafe Michael went out of his way to make me a soy chai in my own cup because they know I don't like throw aways. Nancy tries to give me extra toast all the time (just like a mom) and John and Andrew hold their own in the food prep. Seems that as is the case more often than not, people are more concerned about the hype of the new trend where everyone thinks they are a coffee expert, and really their expertise is more in hearing the sound of their own critique. I will continue to drive out of my way each day to get the best service in Perth.No tattoos/piercings or muffin tops here :)
I have had coffee all over Perth and this is the best I have had. The coffee beans are premium quality and the barista knows what he is doing.

the fresh food is delicious and the coffee omg it is orgasmic ! to tell you the truth i have been going into something good for 10 years now and been all over perth even the eastern states and have never found a better coffee better food for the price and i tell ya what the staff there are fantastic peace out !! bitches :)
Great service, coffee and food!. A cosy family owned/run business. The super friendly service has kept me coming back almost every day for 3 years now. When you walk in there is an unusually refreshing 'social vibe' where staff and clientele are freely mingling with each other. The coffee is among the best I have found anywhere. It's not the closest cafe to where I work but I'm always happy to walk the extra distance, especially for the coffee. The food is consistently fresh and delicious. I would recommend this cafe to anyone.
Something Good says it all. Great coffee, friendly service, awesome roast rolls. This little corner cafe is a regular stop on my way to work. I get coffees for my colleagues there. Michael makes one of the best mochas in town - balanced, not too sweet, with just the right amount if chocolate to enhance the already chocolately notes of the roasted beans. Unlike many cafes in Perth, the beans are not scortched and the mlk is at the perfect temperature. I've been coming to Something Good for morning coffee now for at least 3 years maybe longer. It's hard to say as the staff there have made me feel welcome from day-dot. U just need to see the amount of regulars that line up for their caffeine fix in the mornings. Far from being mediocre, this little lunchbar can hold it's own against the snooty cafe culture that is burgeoning in Perth. My hat off to u, guys.

Spacious, clean lunch outlet with the friendliest staff. Very accommodating and they know all the regulars by name. Really one big happy family!
Good place to dine in or takeaway. Even has power outlets with USB sockets, and an ATM in case you need cash (but don't worry, they take card).
Highly recommend for a hearty bite, or if you want a place to chill and chit chat.

When I travel to Perth I visit this place every day I’m in the Perth metro area (my record - 5 business days = 5 visits!). Old school hot roast meats (lamb, pork, beef and chicken) with beautiful fresh rolls and grandma gravy. I rarely go past a hot roast lamb roll with cheese, onion and gravy, great selection of fresh sandwiches for take-away (sausage, cheese and onion -roast chicken and or cold roasted lamb etc. I mean who doesn’t love a cold roasted lamb sandwich/roll). If this place was in Melbourne I’d be the size of a house!!! Owners and staff are so delightful, beautiful people who treat you like family eating at the family dinner table. I just love this place, it makes me look forward to travelling to Perth for work instead of usually freeting work travel. This is my favourite restaurant cafe eatery australia wide period!

Was running early for a meeting, didn't know what was in the area and stopped here because there was ample parking on the street. Had the "breakfast special" toasted ham and cheese sandwich and a flat white. The sangha was fresh and generous and the flat white was a "proper" coffee. Friendly people, bright and airy, and spotless. Clearly a haunt for the regulars around here and next time I'm up in town, will certainly come back!

Disclaimer: I have known most of the people that own & run this place for several months even though I have only just made my first visit. If I actually worked in the area I would be a much more frequent visitor than I actually will be.
Even so, a worthwhile investment of an hour travelling each way on Public Transport 🙄🙃
The Coffee & the fresh tasty steak sandwiches are amazing. Something Good Lunchbar really is as its name states. Fantastic service, perfect mouth watering food & even better perfectly made coffee everytime, by one of the best barista's in Perth Michael. Highly recommended.
Out of this world coffee! I have experienced coffee in many places globally, and yes this little unassuming lunch bar cafe in perth serves the best coffee ever. Lovely food too & lovely service...always with a smile :) I value old fashioned simple niceties, if you do too you'll love what this lunchbar has to offer. More than 5 stars!
