Review Los Bravos - Perth

I've recently gone to Los Bravos as the restaurant that we initially wanted to go to was closed due to some technical issue. It was good to check out the new restaurant. The waitress greeted us when we entered the restaurant. As we were early she said we can sit anywhere. We ordered 2 glasses of Sangria it was very tasty but it wasn't fruity enough. We ordered the Cuttlefish, White Beans, Pickled Chilli, Green Mojo. It was really tasty! We ordered the Beef Cheek, Red Wine, Cocoa, Corn dish. The beef cheek just melts in your mouth and it's very flavoursome. I will strongly recommend this dish. Market Seafood & Saffron Paella was their weakest dish of all of the dishes we ordered. I will need to say it's on the expensive side. Although, the seafood is visible on top of the paella it wasn't that much. The market price of $45 for a seafood paella was a tad expensive. As for the paella dish, I had better elsewhere. I will recommend the cuttlefish and beef cheek dishes.

There's room for improvement. The food is definitely small serves for the price however the taste isn't bad. It seems other reviewer's major complaints are on portion size...perhaps the staff can work on this...other reviews were scathing but seriously it wasn't horrible. It is a relatively small menu. The joint itself is fun but very noisy. Their music comes from one source...not sure why they arent using the sound system. It was really noisy for those sitting next to that one speaker. The staff are friendly but a bit off with the fairies... we tried several times to get their attention.

Good feed good vibes. Attentive staff. Nice cocktails Limited menu, paella good but a bit pricey Churros not recommended, soggy(some were undercooked, some were overcooked) and very oily.

Beautiful Spanish Vermouth and great idea serving a free tapa with every drink, like we do in Spain. The potatoes are nice and the portion is pretty big. The chorizo is nice but only came with 5 slices and price was 18$, slightly overrated. However, I'm coming back for sure for more Vermouth and potatoes.

Went here with an open mind and was really impressed. Got the option of the chef putting together a menu and was not disappointed. The food was delicious! The drinks were cold and the atmosphere was great. Recommended dishes include the "mushroom polenta blue cheese and truffle" main and the Paella. There was space for a pram which made enjoying a moment with the wife and little one so much more special. Will be coming back here with a larger group soon.

Los Bravos, in William Street, is my go to place for good food – Spanish themed tapas – and wine – an eclectic selection that changes regularly, and with an emphasis on Spanish varieties. It is one of the standouts of Northbridge. The long bench at the front is a great spot for watching Northbridge pass by, while around the side, with spectacular murals looking over, is an outdoor dining and drinking area, with herb and citrus garden, while inside the bar, booths and tables and chairs with eye catching Spanish tiles perfectly capture the theme. As does the music with its salute to bouncy Spanish surf tunes.

Booked a table for 6pm on a Saturday Fringe night. We preferred outside which were just plain wooden benches like you find in the park and a bit uncomfortable but we were not going to be there for long. The staff were lovely and our waiter very helpful with recommendations. I was very excited to try the food as we went to San Sebastian in Spain last year and it is foodie heaven. But unfortunately the food was disappointing here. The croquettes were very stodgy and overdone with the potato (in San Seb croquettes are made with béchamel not potato). The jamon was ok but oily. Fried potatoes looked better than they tasted but were still nice. Pork jowl was so salty I couldn't eat more than once piece. We ordered a few bottles of rose and the end bill was quite expensive for 4 people but we left having had a good time but mainly due to the company. If you haven't been to foodie heaven San Seb maybe it would be a winner but not in our eyes I am afraid

Bit let down after eating here with another couple tonight.
The drinks were served quickly but the food was very slow coming out and the waiter appeared annoyed when we smiled at him that we were ready for him to clear the table from the previous diners; that we wanted to order or when we enquired after our bread and olives we had ordered 10+ mins prior - they were on the pass waiting for serving.
The food was tasty when it did come out, but there was a long wait between each dish and the serves were so small we went around the corner after for a burger and fries...
We love tapas style dining and Spanish food, so were disappointed we had a bad experience.

Nice place, good vibes, friendly service and pretty good food. I would rate the place higher except for that I find it quite disappointing that the set menu (food party/fiesta) was more expensive than if we had of ordered the dishes individually. If it is going to be no choice on what tapas you are going to receive, at least make it cheaper than the individual items at menu price. For the two of us @ $50p/p (bread $4, olive $6.5, Jamon/chilli $12, mushrooms $16, octopus $16, croquette $4 each so $8, and chicken/chorizo paella $37 = $99.50). It may be only be 0.50c difference but disappointing all the same when we would of chosen different dishes from the menu if we had of known.
