This is a good place to visit either for a few beers or something to eat. Good atmosphere you can sit and people watch

Great ambience with live music also đŒ

Pretty good place for the locals food is OK. Their spicy chicken and the calamari didn't taste good for the kids. I guess it would be a good place for drinks and a game of pool.

Was in the mood for a pub meal. Snitzel, chips and salad were perfect. Great selection of beers. Kitchen opens at 4. Even served my partner a side of onion with her meal at no extra charge. Will definitely be back

Came to this place as it had good reviews compared to other restaurants in Port Douglas, sadly it was very disappointing, booked 2 weeks in advance, on the advice of the person I spoke to at the restaurant. Our table wasn't really a table, it was small coffee tables pushed together and we sat on ottermans.
When we ordered our food, we expected a wait of about 30 minutes, which was fine due to been busy, that turned into an hour and only after I complained to the waitress to why the table next to me got their food first, even though we had been there 20 minutes before them.
Once the food finally arrived, we received a burnt meal (completely burnt), which seemed to be acceptable to the chef, I don't understand what they were thinking to pass that off as food. Thankfully the service manager replaced our meal, which only took less than 5 minutes to cook and send out.

Authentic Irish pub, with a perfectly poured Guinness. Food was outstanding! Spacious seating indoors with an open-air feel - would definitely go again.

Super friendly staff, good location but burned steak when we asked for medium rare when we had to wait 45 minutes for the food. Chicken wings overlauded with sauce and not enjoyable to eat. We would come back but not for the food.

Busy.
Good music / bands.
Good roasts, Sundays, ( lamb)
Fair size / portions. Meat ok. Quick service. No receipt. Asked bar staff questions but couldn't answer..

Had lunch here, service was very good, pub food, good sized portions. Mixed crowd, good atmosphere. Worth visiting if you are looking for pub grub

Our first night back in Port Douglas and we wanted a nice meal to start our break from Melbourne's winter. My wife ordered the fish pie which was lovely. I ordered the ribs- they were anything but falling off the bone. I would have needed a boning knife to get to the meat. In the end attempted to just use fingers. Most of the meat is still in my teeth. We told the waitress after the event who said it could have been swapped. I'm sorry but if a pub can't get ribs right the first time there's no second chance. Many more options in town for the next two weeks.

Came in for a Sunday Guinness unfortunately all the taps were not cooling as expected so I was left to drinking Asahi bottled beer. A bit disappointed in that respect but looking around the venue is pretty good and the service good.

Awesome service, aircon and calamari was the best cooked we have had in a long time.
Highly recommend for a casual yet delicious lunch served with a smile. Thanks guys đ

This is a solid performer, staff were friendly enough and the venue was fine. Lamb ribs for starter were full of flavour but had been rushed a little through the cook - would have been better cooked slower for longer. Mussels were decent. Value for money is pretty good in a competitive strip of eating choices.

From the moment we sat down the waitress made us feel right at home. Offered to bring a colouring book for the little one who was not settling. Food that came out was in it portions however they were made by someone who cared. Hot spicy chicken wings were tasty onion rings fresh. Parmy was good sized and tasty. Beef pie was full of flavor as were the mussels that were ordered. Kids meal came with a free soft drink and the spaghetti was a big portion for child meal. 2 year old ate most of it. Great food at good prices

We had dinner at this pub, and we expected to get your average pub meal, and that's exactly what we received. Calamari salad, chicken salad, chicken burger, bangers and mash and lamb shank. Nothing to complain about, other than the idea of having to walk over and order your food at the bar which i really dislike, but seems a fairly standard practice in these pub type venues.

We then had a few games of billiards which was fun.

Probably wouldn't come back in a hurry, but it served its purpose for the evening.

Friendly staff and attentive service. Generous portions - delicious Sunday roast and tasty BLT. Relaxing atmosphere, music not to loud and so able to talk. Reasonable prices and good value for money. Would recommend for a casual lunch.

Poor quality food, had the chicken Parma yuk.
Deep fried with batter burnt hard with cold chips and the most boring tasteless salad.
Staff look like they don't want to be there.
Never again and lm a local.

Standard pub fare - nothing flash. Staff were friendly and there was cricket on the screen so the bloke was happy. Judging by the beer and wine list it must be owned by CUB.

Was our holiday local (going here atleast 7 nights of our 10 night stay and spending $400 minimum per visit for the last 5 years) until being abused by the "head chef" to "get the glass off his counter" not only was service over but the glass wasn't even mine! Really enjoyed this place in the past but due to the un necessary hostility from the un professional arrogant (with the shameful land cruiser tattoo bearing) chef my family won't be back.
Busy, loud and full of people. Which is to be expected for this type of place I guess, we arrived a little earlier with some kids in tow in our group but not a whole lot of larger tables so for a large group of ppl I would choose another venue. Food arrived super quick, good pub fare though & reasonable prices. Recommend if you want to eat then start off a pub crawl or a bit of a big night, live music was fantastic and thats what kept us there. Footy on screens to was good.

Paddyâs very much became our holiday âlocalâ while we were in Port. The Guinness is excellent, the pub food is substantial and tasty. We ate there twice in the space of a week, the Chicken Parmie was the pick for us and it was also one of the biggest Iâve seen! The pie was also good. The staff were always friendly and the quiz on a Tuesday evening was fun too.

Would definitely recommend Paddys for drinks, food and fun!
