Been here a few times and it’s always delicious! Consistently perfect burgers. I haven’t had the poutine but it looks great too.
Best poutine in Melbourne hands down! 15/10 incredible burgers also! The best part is they can veganise everything. Wish I could score more than 5 stars

There isn't much seating, but there a piano bar next door, where you can order here and sit next door
Love the food here! Ox makes a mean feed! I'm always a chicken fan when I eat here, with Mama Shack as my standard order. And fries of course. And deep fried pickles cos they're amazing!! Friendly staff and a great selection of hot sauce!! Can't wait till my next visit to the Diner!
So so so good! Serving sizes are very generous and it’s ace to see a place where omnis and vegans can eat side-by-side and both leave with full bellies!
Some of the best vegan fried chicken + burgers I've had! And it's such a bonus when all menu items can be made vegan!!! We had the Kevin and the Charlotte, plus fries and the pickles! All servings are very generous and value for money! Would eat here every day if I could! Lovely helpful staff too! I definitely recommend eating here!
The best little diner in town, food is amazing, great selection of hot sauces. The best cherry pie in Melbourne. The team and service are incredible, they make you feel like a regular every time you go.

Came here hoping to try vegan chicken and waffles but unfortunately it wasn't available. Instead I had a "beef" burger made with seitan and topped with vegan cheese and a variety of condiments (plus an array of complimentary hot sauces). The burgers are a bit pricy considering they don't come with sides, but the taste is spot on. I also tried my friend's fried "chicken" burger (great but not as good as mine, in my opinion) and vegan Poutine (absolutely incredible). I mean, who can go wrong with loaded chips? The serve was huge and the toppings were generous. Only complaint is that the ambiance at the venue is lacking a bit, but maybe that will come with time as this is a pretty new venue. Otherwise, very happy to see a fully veganisable menu and excited for what these guys come up with moving forward!
I've been here a couple of times now (I love having so many vegan places close by). I've had the Ox burger and the Kevin burger, both with the vegan 'beef' patty. There have been some teething issues - I don't think they expected to be so busy after the Broadsheet review. I'm prepared to ignore these issues and hope that they get better.
The burgers taste good, chips are tasty and have a wide range of different vegan options.
Ox is a master of the burger and the cherry pie. An amazing place for vegans and omnis both, Ox really strives to provide the best experience possible for everyone and their cravings. The Poutine is a must-have, and adding brisket or fried chicken elevates it to a new level.
The poutine and battered pickles were mad, the ber batter is really really nice
The staff is exceptional, I really enjoyed the 30 seconds I had with them!
I had better and worse burgers, slight lack of flavour and seasoning in my opinion.
Lovely staff, burgers and sides were priced fairly as the quality was excellent. Decor was nice and restaurant was clean. The only downside is that the place was slightly smokey, so you will come out smelling like fried food 😋

We ordered a few meat burgers and a few of the vegan burgers, and all were incredible. Staff were super accommodating and kind. Vegan poutine was AMAZING, 10/10, 5 stars, even the stale leftovers of my vegan chicken burger are super tasty *chefs kiss*
One of the best Poutine I've ever had! Perfect gravy, thick and crispy chips. I had the vegetarian Kevin burger and it reminded me of a hearty, homemade burger. It's very busy and I'd recommend ordering ahead. A mammoth feed for a decent price.
Amazing proper burgers and awesome poutine for meateaters and vegans. Anything can be vegan and it's amazing to have a restaurant offer vegan food without assuming that has to mean health food.
Yup yup yup this place is amazing. 🌟🍔 I got the Chicken James burger and she got the Seitan James, and both were delicious. The Chipotle mayo on the burger was the perfect amount of kick for me, but I bit too spicy for her. We both agreed the onion rings were the best ones we have had anywhere, ever. Perfectly crispy and crunchy, great batter and well-seasoned. Great friendly service to top it all off, and very reasonably priced for the serving sizes compared to other similar joints elsewhere. 👌🍔
