Ordered via uber eats. Overall was tasty, the skewers were a stand out. Good value for choice and the salad was fresh! Fav was the lamb skewers, well marinated
I've been here several times, food is consistently great never been disappointed. Those guys are great as well service wise! And the price , you wouldn't lose an arm and a leg for the quality of food this joint serve. Keep it up guys.
I didn’t have much encounter with Middle Eastern food in Malaysia but if there’s one thing I know now, I love their chargrilled meats and rice pilafs/palaw. One afternoon out and about running errands we stopped by Safa Kebab House. You will find many of these kebab houses around Adelaide, all offering choices of whole grilled chicken, koftas and kebabs with flatbread or rice. I’m always tempted by a grilled whole chicken. As much as fillets are easy to eat, there’s nothing like the flavour you get when cooking chicken with the bone in. Same applies for Chinese food. Chicken on bone adds much better flavour to the dish. Alas I have a fussy husband so it’s a bit lack-lustre sometimes. Still good but not the same.

It's got the drinks fridge and a loud large plasma on the wall. Service was relaxed and friendly.
I ordered the three mixed kebabs with rice. At $14 the portion size very decent and tasted delicious. Rice was fluffy and season well. The chicken was some of the most tender I have tasted in a long time from any cuisine. Lamb was was also delicious.
As mentioned...no fuss but great value restaurant serving delicious Afghan food.

My favorite takeaway!! Food is very tasty and healthy. Staff are great and friendly, very clean and very close by. My husband's favorite are the meatballs in chickpea sauce, my favorite is half a chicken and the boys like the mixed kebab!

Safa Kebab is the latest to open its doors and is located within a small shopping complex on Prospect Road. Set amongst a range of other cuisines and dessert places, you can see this stretch of road developing into a multicultural food hub.
Yummy food, nice open clean environment, friendly staff. There was a some chilli in a few unexpected places but we were overall very satisfied with the meal. I'm keen to come back and try some more things on their menu.
Delicious, moist, great value. The portion size is always significant and the chicken is always soft and tender. Also has a great selection of alcohol free beers and soft drinks all reasonably priced. Staff are attentive and friendly and the sit in area is large. Recommend for lunches or dinner.
Very tasty food, we ordered take away(alfam and rice and it was healthy and delicious... Even my one year enjoyed the sauce as it had great flavour... Looked like Good ambience, even though we didn't dine in... May be will try next time..
Loved the place!! The food was good and the service was perfect. We went in a group of people. the addressed it was great! And the food you get for the price here, would make you wonder if you are actually in Adelaid ;p
I really liked the chicken kebab in a wrap! Delicious. I’d definitely come back for that.
The bbq chicken and rice wasn’t my fave but I waited a few hours to eat it and it had gone cold, so that could be why.
Great food at great price. Looks clean, if a bit spartan. Best chicken kebabs I've ever had, but then everything on the menu is superb.

This is the same crew as the famous lawash on South road. If you've noticed a drop at that shop this is why. They're here!
As per usual. Some of the best food in Adelaide. Lots of pop up Afghan shops now trying to make a buck but these guys will always be the og kings of Afghan food.
