Lets just say there is no way you could fault the $10 big brekkie at ambriosia. The plate is filled with greasy goodness that will cure your hangover for sure. Definitely not a fancy brekkie place but has al that one could really truly want.
This place isn't much to look at, more of a takeaway burger and fish and chip shop or to get takeaway salads, but the workers are amazingly nice and that would take me back there. They were so friendly and accomodating. I just wanted poached eggs and toast and a cup of tea, with two tea bags.
It was good, service was quick and it was very cheap. There looked to be heaps of regulars there which makes sense :)

Great little diner in the Eastern Suburbs. Good selection on the menu and great prices. I have been quite a few times for breakfast and I always leave happy. Offers a great alternative from the pricey cafes in Bondi and Coogee.
Good quality takeaway fair. Excellent, personalized service, make the effort to get to know their regulars. Highly recommend the portugese chicken burgers.
Great quality place. The having and egg roll has a special toasted touch. Very nice, try it with cheese and tomato as well !

Better than it looks. Very generous breakfast plates - I'm a big 6'1" guy and leave feeling stuffed. The coffee is great, too. Cheaper than other places nearby. Don't waste your money on slick cafe marketing, just go to Ambrosia.
