Been there last night and lovely atmosphere. Just Wednesday and still bit crowd. Warm and cosy, friendly staffs and fresh food. Will come back again!
A little hidden gem located on Belmore Rd Randwick serves up some of the best sushi with affordable prices to match! All plates are $3.30 regardless of what it is and even better there is unlimited FREE miso soup!
The staff are always very friendly and accommodating and happy to make fresh plates for us to have. One of our favourites is the seared aburi salmon which just melts in your mouth making us order at least 4 plates every time!
The major winning factor with sushi fusion randwick is the standardized plate pricing. We love our salmon's, meats, chickens and tiger rolls. Other sushi venues would be charging $4/5/6 for these plates depending on all the toppings. That's why sushi fusion is such great value as well as delicious.
We were impressed with this little sushi train restaurant. The sushi train offered a good selection and everything was very reasonably priced. My agedashi tofu was a generous serve and a steal at $3 and I enjoyed my bespoke hand roll of soft shell crab with avocado and spicy mayonnaise. My eating buddies were similarly pleased with their choices.
Sushi Fusion is a Japanese Sushi Train restaurant on Belmore Road, Randwick. As with most sushi trains, seating is at counters around the area where sushi chef prepare their sushi. Seating at Sushi Fusion is fairly cramped. It can be quite challenging to bring young children as there is no table seating. Food On the train, there are most standard sushi - nigiri, ship and rolls. Standard variations of prawns, salmon, squid, tuna, scallops, tamago (egg), cucumber, avocado, etc are available on the train. More interesting dishes include seared beef, prawn and salmon, and seared scallops with cheese. All sushi were well constructed and well sliced. All sushi and desserts on the train is priced reasonably at $3. All udon are reasonably priced at $5.50 each.
Excellent value, and tasty.... I chanced on Sushi Fushion, and enjoyed an excellent lunch with 'any dish for $3.00', and each and every one of them was great!!! Food, service, value were all spot on, and I liked the fact it was not a "new and shiny" Sushi Train franchise... i.e. Sushi Fusion has charm and character.
Creative variety of sushi dishes for a sushi train. Super good value on Tuesdays with all plates being $3. Pretty busy place so stuff is fresh!
A great place to eat-in and rejuvenate. Lovely staff, lovely atmosphere and some fresh and tasty options. [Spicy tuna small roll is great, with brown rice is even better!] A great place to wind down when it's not too busy as there is always a great yet non-intrusive CD playing and calm, smiling staff ready to grab you some green tea or saki. Nothing pretentious about this place, well priced options and all plates $3 on a Tuesday night. One of my faves.
Scruptious. Possibly the best sushi train in the Eastern Suburbs. Sushi Fusion offers a wide variety of delicious and beautifully-presented sushi, plus light meals such as udon and soba soups. Desserts are nice here too. The staff are very polite, the ingredients used are always very fresh, and the decor is appealing. Highly recommended.
Top class sushi. I think this place offers some of the best sushi in Sydney.
Possibly the Best Sushi Train in Town. Very fresh ingredients and a wide variety make this one of my favorite sushi trains in Sydney so far. There are many vegetarian options (pumpkin/sundried tomato/avocado rolls for one). The wait staff are very attentive and it's just a great place to eat. You might have to wait if you get there during peak hours, but I think it's definitely worth the wait!
Good prices and free miso. Under new management and sushi seems to be of better quality - honestly surprised by the reviews below. For a while under the old management quality really dropped off. The spicy crispy salmon is 👌🏼. Friendly staff. Was initially a bit bare but place is coming together nicely, love the plants and massive fiddle leaf fig.
Delicious sushi and fantastic value, been coming here for years. They do a range of interesting yummy plates as well as the regular stuff - I've tried a lot of sushi trains in Sydney and Sushi Fushion is the best. If the plate you want isn't on the train they will make it for you and all the sushi plates are only $3.30 even the seafood ones!
Used to frequent this place often as the food was really good and very reasonably priced. Then, as others had mentioned, the quality went downhill for awhile so we stopped dining here. Decided to give it another try today, and were happily surprised it was actually good. Not quite like it used to be, but still pretty good. The decor has been lifted with lots of greenery and a huge mural, with tunes pumping to break that awkward silence and the service is also good. Prices still $3.30 a plate. Will continue to come back.
Better than Sushi Train! Loved the variety, quality and freshness. Has all the variety you would expect, plus innovative items like baked scallops. Prices are currently $3 on all plates, which is unbelievable good value!
