Absolutely fantastic food packed w awesome flavours. The braised radish is a must of experience. It pops in your mouth and brings you to heaven. Slow cooked lamb just melt in your mouth. Fresh dips and awesome bread. The service and the concept is brilliant. Thank you to all the awesome staffs ;-) feast of merit is a must.
Feast of Merit is my favourite restaurant in Richmond. The food is seriously good with amazing flavours and I love the seasonal sharing menu. The staff are brilliant at customer service, providing a human touch and so warm and welcoming - you will feel very special. The ambience is funky, oh and did I say the food is seriously good! The dips with zatar grilled flat bread are to die for. I take all my visiting friends to FoM and they all rave about it afterwards. The philosophy of sharing and social responsibility of giving all profits to YGAP only adds to the amazing experience. Totally recommend a visit. Love Love
A beautiful open space that I've always been meaning to try. It was well worth it, the atmosphere was intimate and cosy whilst the food was delicious. The gnocchi simply melted in my mouth!
Will come back for:
+ Cauliflower Omelette
Came here with some colleagues and felt like something light and landed on the omelette. Am so glad I did! The omelette was fluffy, the cauliflower cooked soft but still has a little texture, it was well spiced and delicious. The serving was also generous for the price you pay. Service was great, and the place was buzzing during lunch time service. Will definitely be back to try out some of the other offerings.

Feast of Merit in Richmond is a cafe by day and a restaurant by night. They even have a lovely rooftop bar as well. This much loved hotspot serves a fresh and organic flavoursome selection of Middle Eastern inspired food made with a great combination of delicious seasonal produce, locally sourced wines, craft beers, spirits and cocktails.
What an amazing night celebrating over some great food and drinks with friends! We made our own banquet style dinner to share between multiple people, and it was fantastic, so much food! Grab a bunch of starters, a few mains and a share plate and sit for hours chatting away, night set!
Fantastic venue in Richmond, that has a wide selection of drinks and food- designed to share. Unfortunately on the day we came, there was a private event upstairs so we couldn’t check out the bar area, but we tucked in for a great meal with some friends.
Ingredients were fresh, filling and extremely tasty and offered a lot of menu items I’d never heard of before! Being on such a busy strip it is very busy and noisy in the area, so prepare to speak up to hear each other! Great place to come and unwind after work, or before heading to an event down the road.
Friend and I came here for a weekend brunch and I really like the chill vibes. Staff were very friendly, and the Somon I had was delicious. Will remember this place for future hangs.
Feast of Merit is easily the best eatery on Swan Street.
I've had plenty of coffees on the run in the past and also grabbed a quick snack.
This long weekend i decided to take the family down for a proper feed.
SO GLAD I DID.
Food, coffee, atmosphere and value were amazing!
The big windows allow for people watching - and there's plenty to see.
I heard they have a roof-top bar also, so that definitely looks like a place to book a work function!
Thanks guys for a great day with the family.
Hubby and I went to Feast of Merit for a delicious ethical dinner. Their ethos is all about sustainable and local sourcing and utilising seasonal produce. The proceeds are also donated to charity which is very admirable and has the added bonus of making you feel you spent money dining out in a worthy way.
The food itself is also impressive. The pumpkin with mixed grains and molasses and the broccoli with feta and dukkha were very flavoursome. As for the lamb shoulder, simply exceptional. As a $66 sharing dish it was easily sufficient for 3 people and bursting with those middle eastern style flavours.
The bread and haloumi is also a worthy starter. Zataar and garlic oil on the flatbread paired with some grilled haloumi, perfecto. The service also deserves a mention as the staff were extremely warm. Perhaps the restaurant philosophy attracts the friendly type!
Can't help but love this little Swan Street venue. Full of plants and good vibes, the dinner menu is well constructed with plenty of options for everyone, including a good selection of vegetarian dishes. Great selection of wines, spirits and beers. Thoroughly enjoyed the experience.
Had an amazing experience at Feast of Merit recently. Very attentive staff, great coffee, delicious food, stunning decor. The lunch menu is a little small, but it was packed full of flavour. I have eaten here at dinner and this is where the place excels, with tasty Middle Eastern inspired food. Great little wine list too, plus a hidden rooftop bar. Swan Street is always busy, as is this little gem!
Yummy sharing plates with lovely hospitality. Started our meal with some cauliflower which was absolutely delicious. Crispy, salty and everything you could want in a bite. Followed that with a selection of mains - fish alongside some eggplant and again was cooked super well. The waiter was super kind and helped us sort a last minute table. Will definitely be back!
Lovely cafe to have brunch or dinner. Was seated upstairs in the open, which was nice. Friendly staff and good service. Food was delicious.
Loved the coffee and chai, loved the food and absolutely enjoyed the vibe....
Feast of Merit is a very well known cafe in the area and anyone who has visited this cafe so far, will only have good things to say.

A rustic charm and in the company of a lot of plants, gorgeous food and friendly staff. We had the Chicken burgers, the batter fried cauliflower ans saganaki✨🧡
Delicious meals .. Duck and lamb shoulder definitely a must try 😋
Small menu but enough choices I think
Went for dinner twice and same quality every time! Amazing food! Each dish was great and service is beautiful too.
You can’t miss this place with the huge colourful mural on the side of the building. Huge open windows and plants hanging from the roof makes it feel cosy yet light and breezy.
Food is absolutely beautiful - Great menu - and the Israeli Sandwich was sensational!
Coffee is excellent , as is the friendly service. Nice spot to relax.
