I am a #richmond regular and it’s my usual go to coffee stop before work. I’ve seen nothing but progression over the last couple years from Daniel and the super friendly team. More vegan options have been added over the last 12 months which is great to see and they are happy to edit a dish to help suit your needs. Excited to see where it goes next and what new plates could be on the horizon. Prices are what is expected for the Richmond area but you will leave satisfied. I recommend trying the vegan nourish bowl! There is a couple ‘off menu’ items I’ll share some photos of (you may be lucky enough to ask for them and get to gobble them up). Hopefully one day these tasty vegan eats will be added to the menu permanently! Good coffee. Delicious plates. Dining in or taking away you are in good hands.

Another day, another networking meeting with Fresh. Today was at a cafe that I’ve driven by often but never stopped. So glad I got to try this today.
It has a great space for groups with its own separate bar and servery area. There is also a tv for presentations with comfortable seating and flexible layout. Our breakfast was $20 for the group with a choice of around 5-6 items including s hot beverage. They were happy to tweak the order when I said no mushrooms and added avocado instead at no cost.
The main cafe area was pleasantly busy at 8am with a mixed range of people from couples, singles, business, mums with prams etc.
it’s a large cafe so lots of space to spread out. The main menu is good with lots of choices. Portion sizes are good. Coffee great. Dietaries are easily catered for. Takeaway food also available.
Wheelchair friendly. Kid friendly. Highchairs available. Good parking out the front and in side streets.
Finally and probably most importantly - the staff are lovely. Very helpful and eager to please.
I will return.
Amazing.
Will be back to try the pancakes because the menu envy was real on that one.
Inside seemed very echoey on a busy Saturday morning so I was happy sitting outside in nice weather. Staff were attentive without being overbearing and we all had a great time.
Always a great place to stop and grab a bite! I have been to the Niche for breakfast and lunch on multiple occasions and it never fails to satisfy my hunger cravings! The beef burger is delicious!
Niche is a great all-rounder - we love it as one of our locals. Many people come for brunch but the dinner options should not be under-estimated! The risotto and pasta dishes are consistently good. Most recently, we shared the paella and it was amazing - very generous with the seafood and some interesting additional touches that made it really special (e.g. pomegranate seeds). The staff are always lovely and helpful. They also cater well with gluten-free options (pasta and pizza).
Came here for a 25th birthday dinner with about 12 people and had a lovely evening with a variety of food and wine.
Wait staff were super friendly & were very attentive to our needs. What was also beneficial was this place split the bill - so helpful!
We ordered a variety of food such as entrees that included arancini balls and spring rolls and mains that included pasta, calamari, pizza and salads. The food was tasty & was presented beautifully. There were no complaints on the food, most of us didn’t finish our meals due to their generous serves!
Amazing food, lovely staff and service. Great atmosphere as well.
Couldn't have had a better experience.
We will certainly be back, and will be bringing friends!
Came for breakfast and found they had excellent service. Not a great range of different breakfast options but what we had was good, Mexican burrito with scrambled eggs chorizo. Coffees were decent too.
This week we were invited to visit Niche on Bridge. Niche on Bridge is not your typical Melbourne cafe. Even in the middle of a refit, it was sleek, suave and reminded me more of a hotel restaurant than a Richmond eatery. This place oozes professionalism and Daniel and his team went out of their way to make us welcome. All staff were smart and polite and it really did leave the feel of a place I’d be happy to host a business meeting, and well as somewhere comfortable enough to dine with my family. I noticed several families with young children arrive as we were dining, which further proved for me that this place will cater for everyone.
Niche is perhaps not your typical bustling hipster joint, but rather more a family friendly trendy-ish café that serves consistently good food in a professional and kind manner day in day out. The menu offers the usual classics but is also researched with some pleasant sophistication. Servings are generous but can happily be accommodated with variations and the staff are great. Coffee is good... everyone has their opinion on this item but I would safely say the coffee is not bad.
I reward this café for its consistently good service, friendly staff and good dishes. It's always a safe bet
Food wasn’t that bad. The calamari was best of the dishes. Steak was cook to exactly medium raw which was great. The popcorn chicken was a little dry.
Ordered the lamb shoulder pizza, wasn’t that bad either. But not really a fan of pulled meats
Nice and spacious cafe and function venue right on Bridge Road. Good coffee and service , perfect for an early morning coffee or brunch on the weekend. The function venue next door is a great size for small parties and has a fabulous marble bar to set the scene.
Update: just got back after lockdown and still going well. Come visit as much quieter and spacious than others in the area.
Great food and atmosphere. Lovely kind staff, very hospitable. The pancakes and Mexican breakfast we had were delicious and beautifully presented. Kudos to whoever chose the music, we loved it!
Great place to catch up for a business meeting. Central in location but the parking can be hard to find early morning. Food was pretty good. In particular the eggs Benedict which was amazing. Happy with the overall service and the decor/atmosphere was very welcoming.
Niche on Bridge is very unassuming and easily passed for many other fancier more well known venues in bridge. However it's definitely worth a visit as the staff are friendly the menu caters welp for breakfast, brunch, lunch and dinner. Along with a great drinks menu from coffee to cocktails. It has something for everyone with great woodfired pizzas, good kids menu and the coffee is on point. Plenty of space inside and out to enjoy as well. Also has a function space inside too for hire.

Friendly staff, good coffee, good food and service. I got a bagel without bagel as I'm not eating gluten at the moment and they substituted mushrooms instead and it tasted and looked great! Would definitely go back if I loved in the area!
