Mountain Goat brewery is officially my favourite Sunday Chill spot. Good beer, board games and Good Pizza. They usually have new beers on tap every week and they never disappoint. Good place to come and have a beer and chillout.
I love the vibe of Mountain Goat Brewery.
The fit out is great and I especially love all the beer boxes above the bar.
I haven’t sampled any of the pizzas on my visits but they all look and smell amazing.
Thanks to all the team at Mountain Goats Brewery we had an amazing time tasting all the delicious Beers and Pizzas!! Not to mention all the amazing Vegan Options that were available!! Thanks again we had a blast.

Tucked away in a side street this is a great space with friendly staff behind the bar and a tasty selection of beers, some of which change frequently due to being small batches. Well worth dropping in and checking this place out with a few mates on a Wednesday arvo or Friday after work beers with the crew. Highly recommend!
Popped in around 7pm on a Friday night to sample Craig's German brew (which rightly sold out while we were there). This place gets it right. Great beer, great pizza, great atmosphere. The complete package.
Great beers and a cool atmosphere at this brewery/bar open only on Friday nights, I believe. My friend and I came here and I had a Scotch Ale tasting literally like scotch, and my friend had a bitter beer (Zyitzer?) which was THE most bitter beer I've ever tried.
And the place was packed. The only food they serve here are pizzas which look amazing!! I'm going out for dinner though, Nooo haha
Lived around the corner from here for 5 years and stupidly never made it here - and it took a visit from interstate family to try this cute brewery out. So I'm not a big beer fan but I love my pizza and the pizza here is yummalicious. The crust and base is not too thin but not Pizza Hut thick either so just....right! The toppings vary from traditional to the random like nacho Mexican. I didn't drink beer but the others banged on about it so my hearsay review is a tick of approval. Totally cosy warehouse setting and can't wait to head back.
If you're after something different to a regular pub this is a nice option. Plenty of different types of beer on tap. Pizza is good but expect to wait quite a long time during busy times.
Work colleagues of mine had planned for some after works drinks and dinner one Friday night and Mountain Goat was finally decided on at the very last minute. A quick check on Zomato got my approval from the high ratings so off I drove to Richmond after work!
Mountain Goat is first and foremost a beer brewery and offers specialty beers and tours. It’s located in an industrial area of Richmond and is set up in a large warehouse with the brewery equipment in clear sight which is very cool. They’re only open to the public on Wednesday and Friday nights for drinks and food. There are wooden tables, chairs and barrels scattered around the warehouse so you just need to find a spare space and set yourself up for the night. I really liked the chilled out vibe and the spacious feel of the warehouse.
I am personally not a beer person (wine all the way!) but being at a brewery, when in Rome right? So I got a beer paddle with 4 different beers and my friend got another beer paddle with another 4 different beers so we could taste test and share. The Summer Ale with cucumber and mint was my favourite for the night. It was light, dry and refreshing.
For food they only have pizzas so we ordered a few pizzas for sharing amongst us. My favourite pizzas for the night was The Exception which had pear, prosciutto, blue cheese, walnuts and honey and the Triffid which had mushrooms, coriander, pesto, red onion, mozzarella, fresh tomato, feta and black olives. The pizza bases were thin and crispy which I always like and the ingredients were tasty. I particularly liked The Exception because I’m a blue cheese fan. I probably scoffed a few more slices than I normally have because it was so good!
Overall a really cool place to hang out and have a few drinks, some pizzas and a chuckle with your friends.
Visiting from Adelaide, we arrived at Mountain Goat for dinner around 6pm. The place was already busy, so we were lucky to get a couple of seats, as they don't take reservations. Inside, the setup is very cool. A makeshift wall separates the bar area from the factory - wooden crates and wine barrels are used as tables.
The beer list, as well as featuring the more commonly found Mountain Goat brews, has many unique and exclusive beer styles not seen elsewhere. We tried several and they were all great - good prices as well.
The food served is pizza, and on the main menu there's about eight to choose from that are all well priced. Between three people, we had two smalls and one large pizza which were all really good! The 'exception' pizza with pear, blue cheese and prosciutto was the best of them; the margarita and pork fennel sausage special were also good.
Service is also friendly. In all, Mountain Goat has a great atmosphere, top beers and delicious pizza. I would recommend for others to also check it out.
