It’s the best I’ve been to. Perfect attentive service, best Lebanese food ever.
We thoroughly enjoyed our evening. The food looked appealing and tasted amazing. The staff were all lovely and friendly and helpful. Meals were very reasonably priced. Cant wait to eat there again. Thanks again
With covid up and running (prior to victoria's second lockdown) it was really hard to find a restaurant to dine in. Luckily, laffe was open and we easily booked a place to eat with a phone call.
Food:
🍱 Mezza: mixed dips, tabouleh, falafel, meat cigars and rakakat jibneh ($38.00)
🌭 Makanek (gf): spicy lamb sausages topped with a lemon and sumac dressing ($12.00)
🍢 Kafta (gf): beef and lamb mince skewers mixed with vegetables and spices ($25.00)
🦐 Kraidis bi toum (gf): grilled prawns, fresh herbs and lemon ($30.00)
🍟 Fries (gf, v, ve): $6.00
Ordered:
We had so much food, amounting to almost ~60pp. Completely filled on savoury, grilled meats and everything fantastic about lebanese food, we left incredibly happy and more cultured.
Their makanek is a house special, which meant we wouldn't be able to get it anywhere anywhere else! It was flavourful and we definitely enjoyed dialing it back with the refreshing dips we got from the mezza.
The prawns themselves were generous and large. Incredibly juicy, the dusty grilled flavour added the right about of smokiness to the dish.
We demolished everything with a fancy hack of wrapping everything up into a kebab style wrap, even the waitress was surprised 😆.
Laffe is a great place to experience some great lebanese food, in a fantastic atmosphere and friendly service.
This restaurant is such a gem on Bridge Rd! The service is familial and warm, the food is always so tasty and fresh, and the servings are ridiculously generous! Caters to vegan and GF diets so well - I never ever leave hungry and was blown away by all the choices the first time we went. Highly recommend!!
Such warm, friendly & welcoming staff - very much feel at home every time I go. The food is outstanding, always fresh, always tasty and I never go home hungry. Great place, would highly recommend.
One of the best Lebanese places I think I've been to. We ordered the smaller of the two banquets, and pretty much enjoyed every dish (although the meat cigar was the least favourite). Food came out steadily, with lovely attentive service. Would highly recommend.
Superb traditional Lebanese packed full of flavour. Friend and I shared 10 dishes and both agreed it was fantastic.... And my friend is Lebanese so big ticks there.
Will definitely be back.... So good!
We hadn’t been here since they moved but I’m thrilled to say that although the premises is new (and beautiful) the menu and service haven’t changed. Both are glorious.
We ordered the Banquet for three and it was all delicious. The servings are generous and perfectly seasoned.
The service was prompt but super friendly.
Nearly 21 years in the restaurant business - they must be doing something right! We’ll be back.

This was an unexpected surprise. We walked in and was welcomed by a face splitting smile by, I assume, mum aka heart and soul of the place. She was so lovely and explained everything to us, told us what to order and let us realise that mother knows best.
I forgot to take a photo of the rose martini. But omg, if like rose and martini, raise your hands and ask for one, or two...
The food came tumbling out in quick succession. We had babaganoush (good smokiness), cheese cigars (crispy and very drool worthy), coriander chicken (juicy and tasty), fried cauliflower (little meh, but no really complaints). We finished off with some Turkish coffee and rolled home.
Great feed, and if I had a Lebanese mum, I would be one happy human.
Really enjoyed dinner at this place. Menu is extensive with so many delicious choices. Well designed for sharing with a mix of vego and meat options. Fairly quiet for a Friday night so we were able to stay for hours. Staff were attentive and friendly. Good wine list.
Would come here again.
A group of us went for lunch yesterday. We were the only ones there and the service and food were both excellent.
One of our group is coeliac and she did not feel limited for choice as most of the menu is gluten free. So we could all have the halloumi, they even substituted rice flour for the wheat flour coating, it was delicious like everything else we tried.
Authentic and freshly made Lebanese food, one of the best in Melbourne.
Having run Dunyazad and Kanzaman for many years, the owners have the art of Lebanese cuisine refines. The food servings are generous and cooked fresh.
