Excellent beer. Best brewery beer experience we have had, we tried almost all of them.... all unique and flavoursome! Loved the IPA, Coffee Brown Ale and Dubbell. Will be back.... many times!
Great place.
Good atmosphere, friendly staff, tasty food and delicious beer!
Definitely planning on visiting more often.
I work not far from Burnley Brewing and it took me far too long to visit, but when I finally did I really enjoyed the experience.
I had the gnocchi (pan fried with pea purée, truffle oil, feta and chorizo) - it was amazing! So much flavour and the gnocchi was cooked beautifully, I loved the slight crispness to it from the pan frying.
I love the fitout of the venue as well, modern and fresh while still being very inviting.
Amazing service, excellent food, and a fun and casual vibe makes Burnley Brewing one of my absolute favourite spot for a beer and a bite. The sticky lamb ribs is my go-to dish, and they are consistently delicious each time. Rich, dark caramelised sweetness, with a deep savoury flavour, and such tender meat, these ribs will have you licking your fingers non-stop.
Been working my way through their menu each time I’m there, and my new favourite, after the lamb ribs, is the smokey cauliflower chips. Thin crunchy batter surrounds the crisp cauliflower, with smoked sweet paprika, and dipped in chipotle aioli. Just as fantastic was the tender and juicy hot chicken ribs, and the fresh and tasty seafood linguini. For the perfect beer snack, you can’t go pass the cheesy nachos.
You can’t come to Burley Brewing and not try their impressive range of brews, some limited edition ones that are not be missed. There’s definitely something for everyone here. Kids included as this place is child-friendly!
We were pleasantly surprised by our dinner here. We always drive past and it looks busy, so decided to check it out. We ordered a burger and a pizza, and both were full of flavour, but I personally loved the chili chicken pizza...the fries with the burger were also seasoned really well! It is pub food, but done really really well. Not too exxy either, and the staff were really attentive. The boys loved the sports playing in the background too. I always thought it was more of a brewery focus, but I would definitely come back for the food.
One of my go to places on bridge road, very good beers and food. This place is often busy and be ready to wait on popular timings.
Their steak, pizzas and nachos are very popular and good.
Tried stout, summer ale both were refreshing.
I visited Burnley a Brewing again on a busy Friday lunchtime for my farewell lunch from David Jones. They have plenty of long tables to accommodate larger groups and our booking for 12 was easily catered for. They had a great lunchtime specials menu with burgers and a selection of mains for $16 each. I chose the beef burger and had a pint of the summer ale, which was refreshing and only mildly bitter/ hoppy... a good choice for and easy drinking beer. Chicken burgers looked impressive and even the salad with beef looked good. Enjoyable farewell lunch.
Burnley Brewing offer Zomato gold members buy 2 and get 2 free on drinks ... perfect for that after work session.

It was the perfect afternoon for a sneaky ale and I had a wait of about an hour for a nearby booking so decided to try out the sour beers on offer at Burnley Brewing. I sampled the Mandarin Gose but this is brewed with salt water and was a little extreme for me. I ended up enjoying a Passionfruit Berlina Weisse which has a sweetness and a sourness all in one. Definitely refreshing for summer.

We were stoked to be invited to Burnley Brewing in Richmond. (Previously Romulus & Remus).
Don’t be fooled by the name though, there is a lot of great things going on here, not just the beer and bar snacks.
The interior had a range of zones for eating and we got a booth to the right. Table tennis (ping pong) at the rear give patrons the chance to work up an appetite before tucking into some flavoursome food, while the in house DJ kept the whole place buzzing with a real mix of tunes.
Outside there are tables for those wanting a little sunshine or to enjoy a beer paddle with your pooch.
Early days yet, but the beer itself in in the process of being set up to be brewed on site by a German schooled brewer. There is a huge range, I recommend ordering a tasting paddle to discover what’s on offer. I really enjoyed the fragrant and fruity saison and the dry stout with robust chocolate and an almost espresso flavour. The consensus at the table was the pale ale was cracking, we both enjoyed this one the most.
For those that are gluten intolerant, roughly half the menu is gluten free and all the pizzas can be made GF too. While beer might not be your friend they do have wine 👍🏼, a very well considered wine list. I had the express Winemakers Rose from the Margret river, it was a lovely dry rose, recommended by a staff member who was knowledgeable about the different styles of wine and extremely friendly.
For food tonight we started with calamari and lemon aioli, it was a great dish to start the night. Fresh herbs with tangly lemon aioli, the calamari was tasty and tender. We also had the sticky lamb ribs, which were fall off the bone tender with a sticky treacle sauce.
For mains we were tempted to go with some of the Romulus & Remus favourites, still on the menu, but decided to give some new items a crack. We indulged in a margherita pizza with a great tomato and herb base, not to thick and not too thin.
The pork rib eye schnitzel was chunky and the crumb had a lot of herby goodness. That combined with the delicious tasting bed of slaw and the tender cutting of the pork made for an super enjoyable meal.
Dessert was hard to say no to when we saw mini doughnuts with a chocolate dipping sauce on the menu. These cinnamon creations where so tiny, it was easy to keep popping and popping (which we did), accompanied with vanilla ice cream (and an ice magic crust) it was a great surprise that worked a treat.

A beer lovers dream, Burnley Brewing in Richmond is a top notch brewery serving up fab drinks and eats. A spacious warehouse style room is decked out with lots of timber and dark colours, but there is plenty of natural light that makes it feel very open. The beer is clearly the star here, and the bar area has a really cool vibe.
There are several great choices as far as the beer goes, and something that should please everyone. There is also wine available if you aren't a beer drinker. There is a really friendly atmosphere, and it's quite a popular place and plenty of space for large groups.
We had some delicious bar snacks that really hit the spot. The sort of salty treats that work great with beer, and some very succulent sticky ribs. The perfect thing for a leisurely afternoon. From the happy chatter around the room, and the friendly staff, Burnley Brewing is the sort of place that makes you feel welcome and relaxed, and the fantastic beer also helps!!
Great atmosphere and food, friendly staff.
Lunch specials are great if you're in the area.
Pro Tip: Choose your own beers for a custom tasting paddle.
I just really loved the feeling about this place. They have the alcohol brewing right where you're sitting. Their drinks are very nice and I love their calamari.
Any pub that solely stocks their own house brews is a special place. Each beer that Burnley puts out is superior in taste and quality given their penchant for traditional German brewing methods. I wouldn't call myself a beer purist by any means, but I would say this place is responsible for my appreciation of classic brews and brewing methods. Favourites include the dry stout, coffee brown ale, traditional lager and any fruity special that's ever been released.
There aren't tons of vegan options for food, but several veganisable ones and lots of vegetarian fare. Top reccs include the super cheesy garlic pizza (or any pizza for that matter), cannelloni, eggplant parm and broccoli salad. Like the falafel salad too but prefer it with a side of guac for extra moisture and flavour.
Amazing food, amazing drinks. What's not to love? This place is so popular for a reason! I would highly recommend this place for your next event or after work drinks.
Great drinks and very tasty food. Had a small problem with the food and they were more than happy to rectify it. Well done Burnley Brewing.
Loved the pizza here, and all the beers I tried were delicious. There's a cool relaxed atmosphere that made it a great place to visit. The only negative is it's a bit out of the way for me, but I'd still love to come back.
I wish I could give this place 6/5. The beers are sensational, always innovating with the new flavours coming out! Food is delectable. From living in Richmond years ago, it's still a favourite destination to come back to. Super friendly staff and always happy to talk about your childhood :)
Lovely beer selection. Chicken wings weren't bad either
Beer is good and the vibe is pretty chill
Great place to try different types of beers. The tasting was $19 of 6 beers variety. The food is good, they have chicken Parma, pizzas, burgers and more to share. Despite the waiter didn't have a good customer service, the place is really good to share with friends or family
Discovered this gem during lockdown ($10 take away long necks!!) and revisited for their great beer! A great selection on tap which changes regularly.
I'm going to sound like I'm getting old (36 years young) but I really liked this place because not only is the beer interesting and delicious, but the place wasn't too dark at night, the music wasn't too loud so you could still have a conversation without sitting and even though it was busy, there wasn't a lineat the bar! This is a mid 30's persons' dream!
Wonderful beers, the best I ever had. I loved the hazy mango pale ale. Definitely a regular place to go with mates.
Thank you Burnley Brewing 👍🏻
