The food are flavourful and very nice. The best thing I liked about Ka-Chin is there’s a lot of Gluten Free Options in their menu. We were so excited when we found out this place, will be one of our take away and eat out place.
Ka-Chin is a gem on Bridge Rd, the slow cooked beef Rendang here is amazing, tender and rich in flavour. We also went for the signature prawn dumplings in a sweet chilli broth and also incredibly tender sizzling Mongolian beef.

Great little gem in Richmond! We got the beef rendang and sautéed vegetables and both were delicious. The portions were generous and the beef was perfectly tender! Very reasonably priced and lovely staff.
Great food. So much flavor. Never been to restaurant but ordered on Uber eats a few times and it never disappoints. Good sized servings too. Will be eating in next time for sure.
Delicious food - best spring rolls ever, great value for money, yummy honey chicken and fried rice, spicy perfect thai green curry. Lovely attentive staff - chef also checked if we were cold so he could turn on the heater. Very attractive decor - loved the bird’s nest light fittings. A welcome find.
A great find, for affordable quality Asian food.
We went for the laksa, which was wonderfully rich in flavour, more curry based than coconut.
We enjoyed a seafood and a chicken laksa each and thoroughly enjoyed them.
At around $14 we found them to be great value.
We also very much enjoyed the special fried rice, mao po tofu and a chicken stirfry.
Think cheap and cheerful, great food and service, at a great price.

Absolutely love Ka chin! Delicious, authentic and reasonably priced Asian food. We ordered catering for my baby 1st year party. They are so organize and friendly. All dishes are fresh, everyone enjoyed the food. Great experience with Ka Chi!

Been twice, first time a la carte, second time used a voucher.
Standouts were the soft shell crab rice paper rolls, and beef rendang.
Also tried the prawn and scallop- fresh and well cooked - impressed with how generous the serving size was.
Portion sizes are generous.
Nice place for a casual catch up. Will be back.
Great food and service and the friendliest waitress ever. I was confused by the offer by our coupon but all was sorted. My sweet and sour pork was delicious. A banana fritter completed our meal.
Not bad at all!!! Had the soft shell crab roll, scallop/prawn in cream sauce and the Tom yum noodles. The latter was so so,but the rest were amazing!!

Absolutely love this place! Ran by a husband and wife, and she would have to be the most welcoming and always friendly and greets with a smile. I love the Hainanese chicken. - They also take cards with no fee and will split bills.
My sister has lived in Richmond since the early 1980's, and with all her choices this has been her go to place for a number of years, and each time I visited from interstate it's where I wanted to go. I really try to explore their menu but I get stuck on their Crispy calamari and Char Kway Teow nearly every time. Prompt, warm service, & fabulous food. Congratulations and thank you.
Comfortable environment, very friendly and accommodating staffs. The food is really good. Hainan chicken & chicken rice is excellent. Duck fried rice and laksa are also very good. The sweet & sour pork rice is very decent taste (just the right combination of sweet & sour). Highly recommended & will come again.
Always a rare five star quality experience from service, food and value price. From being bullied by its neighbour to now its last night of service due to a relentless landlord who doesn't know what's good for them by hiking rents in a pandemic, these poor guys have had to close their doors tonight. Such a shame and it's a dark night when these genuine people have to leave. Sorry guys to see you go.
These guys offer unreal food while keeping your pockets smiling. Not your typical Asian restaurant here in Melbourne, the atmosphere is quite relaxed and their signature dishes had us absolutely delighted. The lemon chicken is perfect (the real deal), the Mongolian beef is sensational, and the sweet and sour pork is a must.
Staff is super friendly and kind.
