Very flavourful and perfectly seasoned chicken. Chips was extremely tasty and I loved their cauliflower salad too... Management is very friendly so the service was extraordinary. Thumbs up you guys 👍.

Don't kid yourself with with this cult favorite- they're the Best Charcoal Chicken in Melbourne by far, Chicken = juicy and succulentttt, salads = fresh daily, light and understated. Chips are superbly seasoned, one place that will never let you down.

Happened to stop for lunch. Outstanding flavor on my half chicken. Also had a bite from the chips and it is well seasoned. It is a keeper. The owners personality was great as well.

The chips are an amazing combination of chicken salt and herbs, cooked perfectly! I always get the chicken roll, which seemed only possible in my dreams before I found this place. The amount of chicken they use in the roll is generous and absolutely worth the price. Make sure to get in early though, as they start running out of ingredients for things and the menu becomes limited.

Chicken was very tasty and juicy, chips were well seasoned and salads were delicious too. Half chicken n chips with medium salad. My meal was $19.50 all up, worth every cent!

They have remained consistent with all my outing to the place and worth every dollar spent. Can't recommend anymore than that..

This place makes the best burgers I've had in Australia so far. The secret spices and herbs work perfectly well with the fresh Buns. We had their Tandoori Chicken Burger and the Lemon and herbs Chicken Burger along with chips. Everything was freshly prepared and tasted amazing.<br/><br/>This place definitely goes to my Regulars list and it's my new favorite. A must visit!

We order in bulk and the food is always fresh, tasty, the chips never get to us soggy and the plates are 'always licked clean'. $8 for a quarter chicken and chips, that will definitely fill you up. The bloke behind the counter is a legend and his wife as well. Amazing, whatever they put on the chips is heaven and the chicken "almost" has me place it ahead of Nandos but even so, it's delightful! Lose 0.5 a point because of the occasional wait sometimes, but that's why I've started to call ahead so no dramas.<br/><br/>If you want a quick meal and want something classic but yum, come here!

Really nice chicken, was cooked fresh. I liked the rosemary flavour. Skin was so crispy and chicken was moist. The beetroot salad was fresh and delicious. Not a fan of the chips, they were dry.

The roast chicken at Roosters On Bridge has a great reputation and its easy to see why. The chicken is well priced, with a tasty, crispy, seasoned skin and moist meat. Simplicity done right, along with some tasty sides.

After moving to Richmond from WA it took me a couple of weeks to stumble across Roosters on Bridge but after getting the tip from a mate I dropped in and have been coming back ever since. The servings are large, the quality is top class and the service is great too. My go to meals have been the Tandori Chicken Burger and chips as well as the Half Chicken & Chips. Definitely drop in if your in Richmond.

Great little local chicken shop. The main event is always well cooked and beautifully seasoned. Service is usually a bit manic but I guess that's because they're busy. Only gripe is the rolls. Need to improve the bread, as it's the only thing letting down the tasty snacks

Beautiful free range chicken and amazing sides. The scalloped potatoes and roast veg are especially delicious. You may need to wait sometimes, but this is what makes the place so much better those that leave their chickens out for hours.

Seriously AMAZING (free range) chicken. These guys know how to cook chicken! Not only do they use a quality free-range chicken, the flavours are INCREDIBLE.<br/>For a treat, the chips and gravy are really great, as are the roast vegetables (usually carrots, sweet potato and capsicum) which feature a beautiful blend of spices. I can honestly say that this is the best charcoal chicken in the Melbourne area, and the service is always friendly.

Takes roast chicken to the next level. Looks like your average take away joint from the outside but is easily the best roast chicken you will find in Melbourne. 12$ for Half a chicken and restaurant quality salad that is great without exception. Highly recommended.

Sachin’s chips at Roosters on Bridge, 312 Bridge Road, Richmond, are generously salted and have the best crunch but it’s the herbs he uses that make these chips unbeatable! Coated with rosemary and god knows what else - as Sachin’s quieter than the Kernel - they’ll be that little pick-me-up when you’re lying in that bed you made called a big weekend!

I thought that there was nothing that grand about roast chicken. How wrong I was. This place is amazing and consistent, the chicken is always tender and juicy with that delicious smokey flavour after roasting over hot coals. They always fry their chips fresh and season them delicious. Miles better than any other chicken place or your average one from the supermarket. Also well priced and sachin and his wife are always friendly. Nice family run business. Just make sure you get in before 7.30 as they do sometimes sell out.

Seriously yummy. For two years I passed this little place by, on the way to get my coffee. Two years too long! They make seriously yummy chicken rolls. Really. Get one.

Best chicken in Richmond!! Sachin the owner is a dude! The flavours on the chicken are world class. No competition what so ever with the new Chicken n Beer opening up either. Different concept I know however $30 for a tiny chicken cut up will never compare with Roosters $14 chicken which is 100% better. Will be back again and again

Chicken worth crossing the road for!!!. I have been a chef for almost ten years now, hands down the best charcoal chicken ive eaten. Very passionate and friendly owner, he is good at what he does and his chicken is a reflection of that, Love your work dude.

The chicken/chips of choice. Love the chicken here. Always on our weekly menu as it consistently delivers on taste and satisfies our desire for a quick, easy and delicious meal for the family. I always call beforehand to reserve a chook as they can get quite busy especially around lunchtime or mid afternoon. My only gripe is they don't open on Sundays but other than that, highly recommend! And oh, sometimes the chicken can be slightly salty but i guess that boils down to personal preference.

Best Chicken Dealer in Melbourne. I am somewhat of a chicken aficionado and Satchins chickens are the best in inner Melbourne. <br/>It's my local and they always serve me with a smile. Apart from the chicken I enjoy the chips, salads and the roast veggies. The gravy is ridiculously good too.<br/><br/>It's well priced so get around it.

Bannockburn where did u go?. Hello,<br/>We were shattered to have chicken last week that was not your usual Bannockburn chicken, but La Ionica chicken??? So disappointed. La Ionica is well know for NOT being free range, and having terrible animal welfare standards, so much as they were taken to court and stripped of their false advertising 'free range' title. We will be back for you amazing rosemary chips, and lovely roast veggies, but will have to now look else where for those lovely Bannockburn chickens..unless, you guys could possibly bring back your bannockburn chickies??? Finger lick'n good. Best local service in Richmond. Cant fault the place, Its like walking into Cheers 'where everybody knows your name' In this case sunny and his wife. Their food is sooo tasty, healthy and i love the fact they cater for people with food sensitivities. Its food that will make your tummy say thank you, and you'll walk out with a smile on your dial. ICU. If there were more places like this on Bridge Rd, there'd be more happy people walking around the street as well. Lively, personal, kind and genuine, this is what the owner and his wife (?) are, and they even cook well, so no problem with the food either. Definitely not unhealthy, so if our sour friend who mistakes ultra-friendly with true customer service won't be returning, I'm sure he won't be missed by anybody. Stick with Mackers, dude, I'll be coming back here.

Takeaway Chicken. Tried Roosters on Bridge for the first time recently and was very pleased. We bought a whole chicken to take home to have with a salad. The chicken was very moist and flavoursome. Will definitely be back.

Tasty chook. Really excellent takeaway chickens, so tasty and fresh and moist, great seasoning. I love the charcoal chickens, flavour is delicious. staff are really friendly. I like how they chop up the chickens for you if you want. This is my local chicken shop. Forget those small and shrivelled supermarket chickens, this is the place to come.

Thank God for Roosters on Bridge. My husband and I are regular customers of roosters of bridge since it has changed hands. The chicken is moist and very tasty.Try the creamy potato dish and the coleslaw which are also delicious. The new owner is a lovely bloke and I'm glad that he cares about serving good food to his customers unlike the previous one. Keep it up.
