This is the best charcoal chicken joint in Melbourne. Incredibly moist chicken with special spices which they could sell on there own. Chips are out of this world. Do yourself a favour and get there!

This place makes the best burgers I've had in Australia so far. The secret spices and herbs work perfectly well with the fresh Buns. We had their Tandoori Chicken Burger and the Lemon and herbs Chicken Burger along with chips. Everything was freshly prepared and tasted amazing.
This place definitely goes to my Regulars list and it's my new favorite. A must visit!
Brilliant family run business. Whenever I come in here I am always being greeted so nicely by the owners. The chips here are TO DIE FOR!!! And not to mention everything else! What an amazing little gem of a chicken & chip shop. Keep it up guys!

OMGosh this was delicious, the chips were amazing, soooo good hahaha salty w some herbs. The whole chicken was tasty, and the gravy yum!

I'm speaking on behalf of myself and 30 other hungry sales consultants who have to work on a Saturday. Roosters on Bridge is amazing... We order in bulk and the food is always fresh, tasty, the chips never get to us soggy and the plates are 'always licked clean'. The consistency and incredible food is what makes us come back every time as well as the friendly and welcoming service from the owners. Thank you!

$8 for a quarter chicken and chips, that will definitely fill you up. The bloke behind the counter is a legend and his wife as well. Amazing, whatever they put on the chips is heaven and the chicken "almost" has me place it ahead of Nandos but even so, it's delightful! Lose 0.5 a point because of the occasional wait sometimes, but that's why I've started to call ahead so no dramas.
If you want a quick meal and want something classic but yum, come here!
Best charcoal chicken and chips in Melbourne! :) Run by a lovely couple who work very hard to provide fast friendly service. Guys it's not gourmet but it's good for a quick cheap dinner. Plus they put some amazing seasoning on their chips!!! 😍
Really nice chicken, was cooked fresh. I liked the rosemary flavour. Skin was so crispy and chicken was moist. The beetroot salad was fresh and delicious. Not a fan of the chips, they were dry.
This is the best chicken in all of the world plus the gravy here is like what you you would get as a kid what im trying to say is its the best if you want what i get half chicken chips and gravy guaranteed panty dropper get ya lips around it
Very flavourful and perfectly seasoned chicken. Chips was extremely tasty and I loved their cauliflower salad too... Management is very friendly so the service was extraordinary. Thumbs up you guys 👍.
Don't kid yourself with with this cult favorite- they're the Best Charcoal Chicken in Melbourne by far, Chicken = juicy and succulentttt, salads = fresh daily, light and understated. Chips are superbly seasoned, one place that will never let you down.
Happened to stop for lunch. Outstanding flavor on my half chicken. Also had a bite from the chips and it is well seasoned. It is a keeper. The owners personality was great as well.
The chips are an amazing combination of chicken salt and herbs, cooked perfectly! I always get the chicken roll, which seemed only possible in my dreams before I found this place. The amount of chicken they use in the roll is generous and absolutely worth the price.
Make sure to get in early though, as they start running out of ingredients for things and the menu becomes limited.
Chicken was very tasty and juicy, chips were well seasoned and salads were delicious too. Half chicken n chips with medium salad. My meal was $19.50 all up, worth every cent!

Update 12/01:- This place is hands down the best Charcoal Chicken place in Melbourne if not Victoria. They have remained consistent with all my outing to the place and worth every dollar spent. Can't recommend anymore than that..
Best chicken shop around, chips are insanely good. Fantastic seasoning on the chicken and chips. Staff are lovely people.
