Dumpling King visit with the fam ordering all the classics we tend to stick to from a Chinese restaurant, dumplings (obviously), spring rolls, greens, chicken and cashew nut and a noodle dish. There’s definitely consistency across this chain and whilst it’s not fancy it’s certainly very enjoyable
Good local dumpling place where you get what you pay for. People complaining about service etc don't understand that's part of the charm of this place. Good, cheap food, BYO wine, they don't rush you out - has quickly become a favourite place.
Sunday evening dinner for four. Ordered plenty of different dumplings to share , a few beers and a couple of bottles of surprisingly good and inexpensive wine. Very satisfying.

This is a good local dumpling restaurant. It represents good value for the price. I've been here on numerous occasions and staff have always been courteous. The food on the menu can be hit and miss at times, but you soon learn the better dishes through experience. The wonton noodle soup is a consistently strong dish on the menu! Don't be put off by the other reviews!
The food here was pretty good, especially the dumpling. I normally prefer fried dumplings but on this occasion, we ordered steam dumpling. Lamb steam dumpling, to be exact and it was great. The other food we ordered was a pork noodle which was good but I personally thought that it was rather bland. I thought we ordered dan dan noodle, but we could've ordered a wrong thing as it was pretty dry too. The chili oil was a joke though, neither spicy nor salty.
Tasty dumplings. The prawn dumplings are massive! Quite a large selection on the menu too so will need to come back another to try other items.
The only guailo dumpling joint I'm not embarrassed to eat at. The bbq pork wrap on menu #22 draws us back each time. However its quality is very inconsistent. Fried rice is surprisingly tasty, could be the duck fat??? Worth checking out if you already in the area boozin with the crew.
Good choice for a group dinner where you can have a great selection of everything.
We tried the fried chicken dumplings, steamed prawn dumplings & steamed pork dumplings. The Peking duck was tender & tasty, as was the salt & pepper calamari.
Final meal before heading back to Sunny Perth and we decided to try the local dumpling house. The menu was easy to order off and the food came out quickly. The prawn dumplings and pork boa all hit the mark. The half duck was also nice and tasty. No complaints and all of us left satisfied. Recommended
I really like Dumpling King in Richmond. I've been there a few times. It's clean, the service staff are friendly, the food is also very tasty. Pretty much anything we have eaten there is tasty - the lamb dumplings, san choi bao, salt and pepper chicken ribs, banana fritters. I would definitely recommend it for a cheap dinner that is tasty.
The food was great. The service was friendly and helpful, despite struggling with English. Apologies for the pics, which were taken half way through the meal. The dumplings were delicious and the veggies fresh and perfectly cooked. I strongly recommend this place.
A LOT better than it used to be. Portions and food is great, cooked fresh, service was very welcoming. Lots of people locals avoided them a couple of years ago (justifiably), but it looks like they've stepped up the game. Would recommend.

Very clean and spacious restaurant in the heart of Richmond. The owners are friendly and very happy to offer menu selections. There is a great selection of noodle and dumpling dishes. Definitely worth a visit to eat in or take away.
