The chicken and the lamb are beautiful - tender and full of flavour. I love the grain salad, the textures and flavours just work so well together. The chips are great too.
Came to pick up souvas from Jimmy Grants - as my first time experience. Even after driving 20 minutes back to my destination to eat, it was still so fresh and absolutely tasty!
Only thing I would want more was the serve to be bigger!
Definitely be going back for more!
Sam and I use to work together building wood fired ovens and I got made redundant whilst he was on holidays so when he came back I was gone. Had lunch here on Friday.
Great souvlaki and GF pita. Chicken salt chips were a little bit over salted but still nice. Staff were friendly.
Will go again. When need that hit.
Funny it was late and had to get the 2am special.
Went out for a chilled night with a mate, and it’s the first time I’d eaten at Jimmy Grants, we decided to order the mixed platter for 2 with feta chips and Greek salad, both the lamb and chicken were soft and very tasty and I’d happily eat here again.
I’m normally a kebab girl, and jimmy grants was my first non-fish and chip shop souvlaki since I was sorely disappointed at 12 & traded up to kebabing it. But I have to say, I’m impressed. Wasn’t a fan of the menu, chips and sauce and meat inside pita bread seemed too fatty; but the nice lady let me build my own with lamb, tzatsiki and coleslaw. The bread was sooooooo soft and warm like a baby’s bottom. Meat was tender AF and coleslaw was NOT ALL CABBAGE AND MAYO but dressed lightly in an oil of some kind. Made for a messy, tasty, enjoyable, emotionally stimulating rollercoaster of eating.
Thankyou jimmy grants for providing me with an awesome redefining souv experience! I’ll be back 👏 👏 👏
The food is simply amazing. The lamb is worth some sort of felony to obtain. Whilst the sizes dont look large they are definitely enough. A great lunch venue.
i ordered the slow roasted lamb shoulder and feta fries. The lamb was tender and succulent. The feta fries was an interesting combination but a tasty one. Overall i really enjoyed the food here.
I enjoyed eating here. The food is reasonably priced and served quickly. It value for money for what we got. The meat was juicy and tender. Only critic would be the seats are kind of cramped up.
Have to say expectations were lower given the reviews circulating on Zomato but the dishes were flavoursome and filling. Not somewhere I imagine I would frequent but for an experience it was a positive one. The donuts for dessert are a strong recommendation. Salads are the opposite and I would were the weakest part of the experience. Overall a solid dining experience.
Eastland has everything you could need. Big w kmart, coles, woollies, chemists, myer, David Jones, so many cafes, kids play spaces, book stores, anything you need.
It's right across the rd from ringwood train station, right across from Costco and chemist warehouse, so many great restaurants and it's huge and lots of parking, the parking costs after 3 hours, just pay as you leave at the machines at exits..
There are toilets, with great parents rooms with little toilets but there definitely could be more toilets.
Town square is great, hunky dory and pacos tacos are my favourites.. but toilets up there are shared and hidden around the corner..
I can't think of anything else right now. So that's it.
Oh the hotel above it, is a great stay too.
A clean and modern shopping centre comparable to those at the CBD area. There are hmmm.. 1 or maybe 2 supermarkets and departmental stores. A good place to walk, window shop, eat and relax. There is a food court that serve many kinds of mouth-watering food but we ended up eating burgers at Grilled (pls see my review at Grilled for details :).
It’s a mall with lots of shops. I have been there at super busy times and it is mostly a nice experience. I find the food hall to be a bit acoustically hellish so I avoid that. The restaurants up at street level are better
I understand that Eastland has come quite far in the last few years. I never visited before the renovations/upgrades, but having visited a handful of times over the last few years, I think it's a really nice shopping centre. Not too large as to be overwhelming, but big enough to be worth visiting if you don't know exactly what you're after.
The cinemas and restaurants upstairs are great, and so is the area outside on the way to the train station. Plenty of parking as well.
A beautiful Shopping Centre that has such a large variety of shops to choose from. It’s a really nice environment for a pleasant day of Shopping. Plenty to see and also has a large food eating area. If you are tired of your old un renovated Centre give this place a try as it is also close to Costco for your fresh food shopping. Possibly one of the nicest Centres in Melbourne as it feels open and easy to shop without having to walk a long way.
Looks bright and spacious and in the same styling as a lot of shipping centres these days. Information points everywhere and lots of different shops. I can see it meeting a lot of needs across the board, so you should be able to find what you need.
While at an information touchscreen, I was approached by 4 staff members asking what I was looking for. While they were friendly and knew where the stores I wanted were located, it was a tad intimidating to be surrounded by staff like that while one is not looking.
This one is better than Glen as it is relatively less crowded and has a good variety of shopping outlets. Even the food court has many options but there's always a struggle to find a seating place in the food court. Parking is a bit of a challenge during peak hours. Few of the restaurants areas are really classy.
For me, this is the shopping centre to visit for all your needs in the eastern suburbs of Melbourne. It's only competition would be Knox City which is undergoing renovations at the moment. One thing to be aware of when heading to Eastland, is the 3-hour limit on free parking. For most people this won't be a problem but if you stay for a meal or a social over a coffee, you'll need to keep an eye on the clock.
