Excellent service by the serving staff, very prompt and helpful. We had the the Chargrilled Octopus as Entree, Spaghetti Meatballs and Sweet Potato Gnocchi. The Chargrilled Octopus was lovely and soft with a slight crunch. It was serviced with a tomato sauce and rocket and lime. Over all it was quite nice but lacking a punch to it.
I had the Spaghetti Meatballs (over the lobster ravioli which looked quite small in portion size). The Meatballs were massive served with tomato and garlic sauce with Spaghetti. The portion size was quite large (as you can see in the photos) and so were the Meatballs however I think a little bit more herbs and flavour in the Meatballs would have enhanced the dish.
My partner had the sweet potato gnocchi. The gnocchi was soft and delicious, serves in a scrumptious tomato and cheese sauce. The sauce was packed with beautiful flavours which balanced out the gnocchi quite well.
Overall, we really enjoyed out meals at Pacino's, the atmosphere was lovely, food was delicious however lacking the wow factor.
I went to Pacino's Monday night. A large group (30+) were also booked as well as many other patrons and takeout orders. As I arrived a staff member went home sick. It was so busy I was offered a seat at the bar (instead of sitting outside). It gave me a chance to witness up close how the staff managed this situation.
They were amazing. A young woman appeared to be the manager and she and the staff handled it with professionalism, communication and a calm attitude.
Despite the group pre choosing wines all that was changed when the group arrived. The staff and manager didn’t bat an eyelid.
These young people as well as the kitchen staff should be congratulated and given a bonus.
Anyone that says hospitality is unskilled need to think again.
The food and wine was also amazing
Well done team
