Decent experience with good view. The oysters were creamy but not too fresh for a oyster supplier (we visited in the afternoon). I found probably one bad oyster per dozen that tasted off and they didn’t provide tissues and you had to pay separate for a lemon. Prices were reasonable and the view was pretty.
It would have been an easy 5 stars, the view was great, the oysters were delish (but small) and creamy, the price was decent. Got parking, which was a bonus. What’s there to complain about!? Well, just as I check out I realise it doesn’t come with lemon and they make you buy a whole lemon separately. Price of the lemon wasn’t the issue, it’s the thought and attitude of the business in little things like these that makes me feel annoyed. If you went out of your way to have great product at a good price point, why shout yourself on the foot for small things like lemon. Why not go all the way to provide a 5 star experience. But that’s just my personal opinion, I’m sure everyone will tell me small business struggles - then again my point was, just include half a lemon in the base price, round up the price from 19.X to 20 directly and make the customer happier. That said - apart from that, it was decent oysters. We’re here for food, and I would recommend checking it out if you are around. Definitely some good oysters.
Gorgeous oysters that don't break the bank: expect to pay around twenty bucks for a dozen. If you eat them at Holberts', you'll get a terrific view of the inlet.
