Yummy samosas, solid butter chicken and the normal extras - rice and garlic naan.
We both quite liked the Smokey flavour from the tandoor chicken in the butter chicken. Samosas were delicious.
I'm from Melbourne and have had just about every Butter Chicken the city has to offer, who would have thought I'd have found the hands down best I have ever tasted in Sale! No joke, cannot get over how tasty the sauce was and how nicely the chicken was cooked. I could actually taste the smokiness in the chicken and the sauce was rich and buttery. Only in Sale for a few more days but I'll definitely be having that again before I leave. Top job!
Highly recommend! The food is amazing, with meat that was tender and delicious, with outstanding freshly made mango lassi on the side! The atmosphere of the restaurant is excellent (I'm sad I got take away this time, definitely will stay and eat in next time!) and the staff are very friendly! Can't wait to come back! :D
Passing through and loved the food. Newish owners who know their stuff. Love byo wine, LOVED the naan, loved the innocent young waitress who was so enthusiastic. Good value for money.
Awesome environment, Food quality was great and prices are cheap too. Best Indian Restaurant in Sale, I will be going there regularly. Highly recommended please try
went to this place yesterday evening, Food was really tasty and awesome customer service. will go there again for sure. That female chef has some magic in her cooking :)
Went with a group and had the banquet. Lots of food, nothing I didn't love. My favorite was the butter chicken (which is usually not my favourite dish). Staff were lovely and let us take the extra food home
All the dishes we had were very good, but the naan was superb
Lovely meal. 4 patrons went to Curry Cottage Sale for a $20 ph Buffet Meal. Service was friendly, Meal was excellent and being a Buffet, we were on our way home in less than an hour. Great when you are in a hurry. Having a Vegetarian, Chicken eater and 2 Meat eaters it pleased us all. Delicious!!! Will be back.
Thank you
Lyn
The last curry was phenomenally good, and somewhat of a surprise. It was balti chicken SERVED IN A BALTI. These guys absolutely nailed it, along with the obvious burnt butter character. Let’s start again, this time you can picture it right: you’re in Punjab (I’d say somewhere rural, but none of the towns there are particularly big). You go to a dairy to buy freshly churned butter (made that day, from fresh cream, taken from fresh, unhomogenised milk, hell, probably from their own cows out back). You render THAT butter down for your curry, that milky dairy nutty butter, with almost caramelised milk notes – THAT WAS THERE.
