Our local for good wood fired pizza
I ordered the Milano pizza, my partner the prawn linguine and our other dining partners ordered the salmon. Garlic bread was a light starter. Dessert was lemon meringue pie and lime pie. I loved my pizza, perfect amount of toppings and heaps of olives (love olives!). My partner said his linguine was tasty but very oily, and our other dining partners felt the salmon was ok, but not great. Garlic bread rocked! The lemon meringue pie was perfect, nice fluffy top with pastry 👌
I have searched high and low for a good chicken parmigana around Perth but I haven't quite received a quality one yet. All that changed when I went to Raktacino when I received a generous potion of chicken cheese tomato good ness. The service was excellent and the new staff are great. I have heard awesome things about the breakfast. I will see you soon Carol and the rest if the raktacino crew.
This is an amazing little place, great food and service. Perths best kept secret. Definitely worth A visit, make sure you try the wood fired pizza.
Lovely local cafe; every friend I've brought has raved about their coffee.
The must tries:
Breakfast - freshly baked muffins (flavor changes daily)
Lunch - Captain Kirk's Burger
Dinner - any pizza, done in their Calzone style
A favourite for a quick, tasty lunch with friendly service and good coffee. Havent been there for dinner or breakfast but will when the opportunity pops up

My local for an enjoyable wood fired pizza! Range of toppings and takeaway/delivery service available with generous portion sizes- would recommend for a night in!
Great local place we go to frequently. Best pizzas around and a good support menu with generous serves. Friendly no frills café we take all our visitors to.RW
Great local - love the food, coffee and friendly staff
Wonderful!. Dinner tonight was amazing. I really felt like chicken carbonara and it wasnt on the menu, but they cooked it for me! The best I have ever eaten. Thank you for a fantastic dinner. We will definitely return. :)
Went back tonight for dinner and picked some. Nice pizzas specials and pasta and loved it.
Went back again, tried the specials, goat cheese and caramelised onion and asparagus and chilli pizzas... Yum!! Fym it's usually a 30 to 40 Min take away wait so order ahead.
Went back yet again, the pizza on special pesto, crab and chilli was amazing! Margareta was dissapointing as I expected it to be like the other pizzas with fresh basil, Mozerella and tomato sauce but I got a kids pizza with no fresh bazil and just shredded Mozerella.
Went back again to try more pizzas and the pasta and the swlmon and they were delightful. Great Indian chefs doing some great italian food! A very unpretentious place with fantastic pizzas. European style with think crusts and few toppings making it more flavourful. Woodfired in front of you and reasonably priced. Worth the trip out to salter point. We look forward to trying their pastas next time. They were also quite child and pet friendly which was nice. Coffee was average tho.
Nice little coffee shop in a beautiful quiet part of Salter Point, little pricey but food quality is good.
Would be great to see more options on the menu.
Had lunch with friends a few days ago. Very impressed. Great menu with the usual suspects and some interesting tasty alternatives. All four 9f us really enjoyed our various dishes. Well priced too. Definitely a find.
This place is kind of casual. Orders are placed at the counter and not taken at your table. You will need to get your own menu from the counter prior to taking a seat as well.
This is a BYO restaurant. The best I could do for myself was fetch a bottle of Bundaberg Ginger beer from the fridge to purchase.
For entree, my wife and I shared salt and pepper calamari. Whilst it was nice and tender calamari, I thought the salt and pepper flavour lacked taste. There was no pop or spice about it really.
Unfortunately my wife ordered the Lamb shoulder and I ordered the Scotch fillet. At the counter, I was informed they didn't have any Lamb shoulder to which my wife swapped to the special of Lamb rack.
Soon after ordering. The waitress came to our table to tell us they also had no Scotch fillet so I changed to the Special of Fillet steak.
I thought this was a little disappointing. The menus were only printed pieces of paper and nothing special. It wouldn't be difficult to print pages suited to the meals of the day. It also would be simple to have a menu board which could be kept up to date. It wouldn't be hard to have a menu of actual available meals.
The meals once they came were of restaurant quality and of minimal complaints. Only I was never asked how I would like my steak cooked and I felt it was a little on the well done side of medium.
I felt it was kind of over priced for the casual service. The fillet steak was $38.50 and the Scotch was $40.50. For a decent restaurant and the meal I received I think this was reasonably priced however it came with only casual service which may make it a little expensive. Of note, I never received a refund when I was informed the Scotch was not available. It was only $2 less and I never asked for it either.
I suggest it stays popular more for its location. The clientele were of an older demographic and I suspect a reflection of the local population. I would say 3/4 of the customers were more elderly. Maybe 60 years or older. I usually wouldn't mention the age of the other patrons however it was noticeable.
Milan the owner is really good chef and the woodfired pizzas are famous not just in the surrounding area but people come for from various metropolitan locations.
Good service and relaxing atmosphere.
The dunny at the back could do with an upgrade if you happen to need to use it...
Hot chips are the bomb! Great size serving for a large (teens couldn't finish) chicken Panini was nice. Milkshakes - average. Chai latte frappe - 😋. Good casual cafe in Salter Point.
Great food, coffee and pizza, great friendly and happy staff...Highly recommended..
